ZONA...Isn't going from Phoenix to Miami like going from the flame to the fire? It's even worse because it is humid heat!!

Maybe I can change my avatar...no snow in the forecast all week!!!! YAY! But Monday we are to have severe thunderstorms. OY!

  8. MO: But if it sounds like Ricky Martin..it would be worth it..for a few days at least! :D

Well, the a/c guy is coming over this afternoon for a pre-season inspection and cleaning of our air conditioner. He told me it would only cost $50 if everything is running as it should..keep your fingers crossed! He's also going to inspect for hail damage..keep your fingers and toes crossed!! ;D

    Enjoy your day everyone!!

ZONA - lol lol lol!!! Still my favorite ringtone ♥

MO - We're getting those thunderstorms later today. I just hope it's after I have to go pick Sam up in Rockford!!

  15. Dianne Well, aren't you industrious this morning. I've been up for almost two hours and haven't done crap except drink two cups of coffee, talk with the grandkids, and check emails. I take it back, I actually did crap. LOL

  16. Bonach You were up early this morning. Is it another day in paradise in your little corner of the world?

    ReplyDelete
  17. HOdi Loved going to bed with you. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  18. Zona If it was mandatory that he attend the picnic, then you should be able to take it off your taxes as a work expense.

    ReplyDelete
  19. SLIN - You know how to butter my biscuit. But remember.....6 months!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. HOdi Hell, NO! That would be 6 weeks, not months.

    ReplyDelete
  21. SLIN - Crap!!! You're right!! My bad...and you'd be one cranky HO if that were the case!!

  22. Tina, Very nice song. Good beat, easy to dance to, I give it a solid 9.

Mo, Every time I see you write 'somnabitch' it reminds me of when my father used to say that in his very thick Italian accent. :)

Dianne, you are very ambitious today. I could use some of your energy.

Bonachichi, A friend of mine went to Miami and said he saw alligators along the side of the highway. I think I'll skip Miami.

Zona, pay the a/c guy an extra $50 to find hail damage.

J/L, Glad you are recouping well.

Jodi, from A51- I did pray for you and your Dad's wish. ♥

    Have a good Sunday everyone.

  23. Well the a/c guy was here..he was very nice..I liked him right away. He cleaned the air conditioner..checked all the contacts etc. Looks like we need a new motor..the bearings on the one we have are almost gone..I can't even remember when it was last replaced. He said we could wait..but you just know it's going to break in the middle of July..that's the kind of thing that always happens. We're going to play it safe and get it done tomorrow..$300. Other than that..knock on veneer..it seems to be running pretty good.

BARB: He told us 'they don't build them like this anymore'..no hail damage that he could find..phooey..

    J/LIN: Good idea!!

MO: Mr Z had to pull off the side of the road on his way to work..he got really sick to his stomach..damn cold long acting $6 hamburger.. ;)

    JODI: I still can't believe I did it..lol..

I'm making chili..and the kids next door are swimming..there's something wrong with this picture.. ;D

  26. I've had a long-ass day. Worked and then when I came home I started laundry. Much to my amazement, my hubby actually did a little task that I had hinted at last week. For the longest time it has taken FOREVER to get a load of clothes to dry. When I was outside last week I saw a pile of "lint"...wet and soggy...underneath the dryer vent. I pulled as much as I could from the outside. I mentioned it to the Mr. that we should probably try to get all that lint out of there. Of course his answer was that I could take the hose/pipe apart. I thought....WTC!!! Well, he stepped up to the plate and did it when I was at work today...yippee!!! Never thought there was that much lint stuck in there....a whole tall kitchen garbage bag worth *she says embarrassed*!! I've never been so excited to do laundry ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I best get off the computer....severe thunderstorm warning until 10pm. Started just a bit ago with golf ball size hail!!!

    Everyone have a great night!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. HODI...thank heavens hubby cleaned that lint out. That could have caused your dryer to catch fire. I'm glad you are all safe.

The wind is totally howling here. Scary loud!

    ReplyDelete
  29. MO - I seriously am very thankful that didn't happen!! Storm has passed here....for the moment. I hate the wind. We have several very large pines that I worry will come crashing down on us. Of course, maybe that's not a bad thing. We could do with some "updates" ;)

  30. Here we go again.....I'll catch ya later ♥

  31. I feel so awful but Ricky really just doesn't do anything to me.

So tonight my parents were trying to convince me that LOL means lots of luck. My mom is on Facebook now and they are just too darn cute.

    ReplyDelete
  32. iteach I hope you convinced your parents to re-think their idea of LOL before they give someone a really inappropriate reply. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  33. That last LOL meant "lots of luck" AND "laugh out loud". :)
