    Jodi: This is not a laughing matter. That poor goalie suffered brain damage, and is now on permanent disability. The family sued the school district and won an undisclosed settlement. The parents subsequently divorced and the boy spent time in a special-needs foster care facility before funding cuts forced it to close. His whereabouts today are unknown.

    Reached for comment, the kicker would only say: "Better nuts than noggin any day"!

    We are sitting in the Seattle airport.....and we'll probably be here all day. What I didn't realize is that this weekend is "confernce" weekend (Mormon General Conference....when everyone who is anyone and mormon descends on SLC!!!) U G H !! !!! !!!!!!

    Well, Zona, how far are you from Mesa? My parents just put the final down payment on a trailer for this winter. I am soooooooooo glad! My dad's breathing is horrible and the weather in Arizona would be so much better for his lungs.
