    It's Victoria Day here in Canada with lots of activities going on including a parade downtown that starts in 90 minutes. I just got up (yesterday was exhausting) so I must rush or we are going to be late. Victoria Day is for the queen not the city and it is a nationwide holiday. We will have a picnic this afternoon with all the family.

    Hi Just_Lin - The Christening/birthday party were great but I arrived home feeling like I had been hit by a bus. It was worth it however to see our little grandson baptized.

    Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers for Elaine. Her surgery went well. Her arteries were clean, so she only needed to have the valve replaced. She was doing really well, and was supposed to be transfered from ICU today, but her BP keeps dropping and there are some irregular heartbeats, so they are keeping her in ICU a while longer. The Doc's said it is nothing to be alarmed about, but I worry as much as ZONA does!!

    I asked her yesterday if she has started snorting or growing a coiled tail since she has a pig valve! She told me to shuddup, since it hurts to laugh!

    And another post about me...

    I stopped at the library and when I left it was starting to drizzle. I drove less then a mile to the gas station and when I got out of the car I heard the sirens blaring...we were under a tornado warning. I was freaked out, so I stayed at the gas station for 1/2 and hour till it passed. I was so freaked out. The sky was so ominous looking and all of a sudden the wind started gusting and it was pouring like a mo-fo.

    I finally came home and promptly went to the pooperarium and crapped my brains out!!

    you know Maureen....thats cute...you know, what u said about tails and snorting...but...

    But actually ..as she begins to recover...she may at times have an uncontrollable urge to root about in things with her snout...

    This can be remedied simply by having a ring put in her nose...

    JUST LIN...No problem, it was an easy mistake to make with all the posts I have made about Joanne. And afterall, they are sisters!

    It was kinda funny. While we were in the surgery waiting room Joanne's doctor came in. She wasn't there, but he looked at Sharon (another sister) and a look of fear came over his face, then he asked why we were there. Sharon told him it was another sister, and he looked so relieved!
