  6. Bebbi - It's raining here today too. Yesterday was lovely. Spring doesn't seem to want to stay.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I watching CNN and rejoicing in the end of that nasty man.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I will feed my "fur babies", myself and check my farms. Then I will be back to the nest to see if any other birds have arrived.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Tinka: It's been raining here for a week! But, we do have our dry spells in between thank goodness. Yes, Spring doesn't seem to want to stay.

  10. Morning ladies....

    Tina.. simulates smile..

What an interesting video!! Lights on a building!! What will they think of next!! ...rolls eye..

I sent those pocket laser pointers to Tinas kids and they have had so much fun playing with Tina with them....if she comes in on a tear about chores (her housework) not getting done they immediately switch on their lights reducing her to a cat-like creature jumping at the light spots on the wall...running along the base boards...the funniest is when they do the light back and forth on the wall and make her do "Metronome Head".....hahaha....wooo thats a good one!!

Gosh those kids could write a book!! I'm sure they will...

    ReplyDelete
  11. Bebbi - My dream now is to have 5 sunny days in a row. When will it happen?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Michael - You are going to have Tina making voodoo dolls in your image. Be careful. She will get you.

Michael - Good Morning. Forgot to say that.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I am still watching CNN. Now I must get us fed or we will all be fainting.

I've been working on the railroad
    All the live long day
I've been working on the railroad
Just to pass the time away
Don't you hear the whistle blowin'
Rise up so early in the morn
Can't you hear the captain shouting
    Dinah blow your horn

    Dinah won't you blow
    Dinah won't you blow
Dinah won't you blow your ho-o-o-orn
    Dinah won't you blow
    Dinah won't you blow
Dinah won't you blow your horn

Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
    Someone's in the kitchen I know oh-oh-oh
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
    Strumming on the old banjo

    Fee fi fiddle e i o
    Fee fi fiddle e i o-o-o-o
    Fee fi fiddle e i o
    Strumming on the old banjo

Don't you hear the whistle blowin'
Rise up so early in the morn
Can't you hear the captain shouting
    Dinah blow your horn

Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
    Someone's in the kitchen I know oh-oh-oh
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
    Strumming on the old banjo

    Fee fi fiddle e i o
    Fee fi fiddle e i o-o-o-o
    Fee fi fiddle e i o

  16. Tina Good moaning. Once again, you are the loveliest of the lovelies. Don't let the kids shine those laster pointers straight at your eyes!

    ReplyDelete
  17. HOdi Good to see you today. Love you!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Bebbi Hope Louisville gets a chance to dry out soon.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Tinka We are lucky to have beautiful blue skies today. It really is feeling like spring has arrived.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Michael LOL @ Metronome Head! I used to have a deaf cat that LOVED chasing a laser light.

    ReplyDelete
  21. J/L: Me too! I am in the Pegasus Parade on Thursday for the Center for Women and Families. I would love to have that three mile walk be with blue skies and smiling faces, not rain clouds and umbrellas! and me, soaking wet, smiling and waving..lol. ew.

Tinka: Me too...5 days..wow, sounds like a wonderful dream.

Michael: What was that song all about..lol. :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bebbi Here's hoping you get to walk in the sunshine.

    ReplyDelete
  23. J/L!

Has you salivary gland condition improved...at all....

Sometimes just going to the doc and buying the medicines is all it takes....know what I mean?

Sometimes I wish I had just waited another day....but then maybe it takes my problem knowing it is about to be attacked that makes it just say...ok..I give...

Of all things...as much as my gums have been worked on lately...I think I have bone trying to break through...it hurts to touch it...so I am going to get ready and run to the dentist and see what he wants to do about it...

you know its a good thing I REALLY like this dentist....the gum guy....he is kinda hot...no...he's a lot of hot...lol

I just love it when he puts his big sausage like fingers in my mouth and probes....

    He's funny too..

One day I had to go straight from lunch and he had already had his fingers in my mouth when I apologized for not being able to brush or clean my mouth after lunch....he said that was ok...that he had just used the bathroom and hadn't washed his hands!!! Ha hahahahaa

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bebbi...well that song was about working on the railroad and somebody named Dinah blowing a horn....

it has a good melody and great harmony potential therefore I felt that it would be a good song to post for anyone to sing along with the lyrics....singing makes me smile so I wanted to share that...

Furthermore I will be posting a song o the day at different times of the week just to give everyone the opportunity and reminder to sing a happy song.....

The above paragraphs would have made DeeDee puke....but I am not anything like her....I only gagged a little!!!

    So...Bebbi won't you blow?

    kiss kiss...mean it...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Michael: That's fantastic, I love to sing! :) Toot Toot.

    ReplyDelete
  26. P.S.: To me, you seem more like DeeDee than you realize. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! HE IS DEEDEE!!!! ga!!!!!!! (except for the gnarled fingers!) :)~

    ReplyDelete
  28. I just skimmed the comments and I am off for my nap.

Michael _ I sang the song to my "fur-babies" and they loved it.
I used to sing that song with my grade ones long ago. They loved it too. That seems like a life time away. So much has happened since.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Michael - Sorry your mouth hurts but LOL@ loving your hot dentist.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Just_Lin - Hope your glands are better. What do you look like today?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Michael Thank you for asking. Yes, the antibiotics seem to be working. The gland used to be egg-size is now closer to walnut-size. I have red flushing across the upper part of my chest, just below my neck. I had some swelling coming down there so don't know if it is related to that or a reaction to the meds.

For the next song, how about "Polly Wolly Doodle All the Day"? The girl in that song has "curly eyes and laughing hair". WTF? Sounds like Linda Blair in the "Exorcist".

    ReplyDelete
  32. Bebbi - Are you walking for me today? I think if you are thinking about while you are walking then I will be getting some exercise too. Do you think that might work?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Bebbi If you have to toot, would you please go over on a branch by yourself to do it. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Tinka Thank you for asking, too. I seem to be on the mend. Let me know if that works to have someone think of you while they do the work of exercising.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Tina - Please tell me it isn't true. He can't be her. He is so nice.
Did you ever see the movie "Sybil"? There was Vanessa, Vicky, Mary, Ruthie and many others. They didn't know each other. I am not saying Michael has a split personality, I am just saying Jesus, Mary, Joseph I hope so.

I am off to bed. Hope I didn't miss anyone. If I did I will pick it up later.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tink: Meeting a friend to walk after work, so I will take care of that for you. I will focus on you while I walk so that you get the results..I think it might work! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. J/L: It was a stinky toot too... *sprays the air freshener* Sorry about that..and excuse me. :) Damn Hummus farts.

    ReplyDelete
  38. OOps..looks like I cleared the room.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Tinka LMAO!

    Bebbi See what happens?

    ReplyDelete
  40. okayyy okayyyyyyyyyy..I'll stop. Excuse me! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. TINA: Very, very neat-o video..I can't wait to show it to Mr Z..he'll really like it!

    JODI!!! :D

BEBBI: I think we should trade..I would rather have the rain! It's going to be in the 80's here today..but 100 by Wednesday..and they say that those triple digit temps may be here to stay..well, at least until October! I loved the Cardinal video you posted on FB..so cute! :)

    MICHAEL: I don't think I'll sing today..I'll just be a hummer if that's ok.. ;)

TINKA: I'll try to send you some warm sunny days..we have way too many..

J/LIN: So..Polly Wolly doodles all the day does she..sounds like fun! ;D I'm glad you're feeling better!

SACBARB: I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well..I hope you've been able to get some rest and are feeling a little better this afternoon. :)

    From 51:

CAROL: Thank you for translating! :D

    ReplyDelete
  42. Zona: We think it's the same one that came last year..with a new head of hair! If you look back on my videos you will see him. I am going to check to see if he is the same one..if I can tell. They say they come back and do the same things. He serenades us.. I love that little bird! lol. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Evening Owls!! Just got home a few minutes ago. Tax season is finally over...WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Although I still have two here at home to do tonight and I still have to go to the office for awhile tomorrow. But on Wednesday I'm sleeping in and watching an entire hockey game!!
    Cool video!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Tinka~ I know I'm going to puke after I write this, but yes, ugh, Miguelito is very nice. His family is nice (mostly), his stinkin' friends are nice (especially me!), and now that I think about it, he's one of the luckiest men alive! :)~ I knew I could find a way to not puke! :D

    ReplyDelete
  45. Good AfterMoan, Shirley~ got poke?~

    ReplyDelete
  46. Good Afternoon everyone. I had a two hour nap, that's a long one for me. Now I just finished a sandwich and muffin, both of which Jack made for me.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi Shirley. I hope you didn't work too hard. My daughter in Vancouver is a chartered accountant and she is also exhausted. I think she is going on a holiday soon.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Zonr -It's working. The sun is already peeking through. Thanks a million.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Just_Lin - I am glad you are feeling a little bit improved. Every day you will feel better and better.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Tina - Thank you for telling me Michael is nice and so is his family. I knew that but it is great to be validated.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Michael - Where did you go? I was only teasing when I said you had a split personality. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings. I also hope you didn't jump out the window you were talking about yesterday. Let me know you are ok please? I don't want any suicides on my hands. I can't take guilt. I have had too much of it in my life.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I have work to do on my farms. See you all a little later.

    ReplyDelete
  53. yoo-hoo!!

I had to go back to the dentist!! I had a gum pimple...lol...thats what I called it anyway...he said its just an irritation from all the machinery thats been in there....

He put a hand on each of my shoulders and leaned into my face talking to me..... God I wanted to kiss him....I had 2 Altoids in my mouth too! It would have been sweet! Peppermint!!

Of course you didn't offend me Tinka! I thought I might have offended Maureen yesterday when I told her that I had over estimated her....lol....I hope not....but these things are bound to happen from time to time...especially with a group of women...with you all being so high strung and hormonal....

    ReplyDelete
  54. Michael - I am glad you only had a mouth pimple and that you didn't jump out a window. Of course you wouldn't because you are never "being so high strung and hormonal...." LOL

I must brush my "fur babies" before their daddy gets home. They like to look nice for him.

    ReplyDelete
  55. wide open for 69. any takers????

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am in major pain. It is feeling like it did when my back exploded a few years ago. I hope it is only a stress attack and goes away...FAST.

    ReplyDelete
  58. MO Oh, no! It's so debilitating to have your back go out. I sure hope it improves quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I can't get comfy. It hurts to sit and to lay. The pain starts just above the right butt cheek and goes down to my knee and around my hip. When my discs ruptured it was like this but on the left side. Please pray it isn't another disc. It just came out of the blue. I just want to cry...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Mo, I hope you feel better soon!

J/L how is that thingy on your neck?

I feel ten pounds lighter today after last night's news!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Maureen - I am so sorry your back "went out". Back pain is so debilitating. I will say a prayer that you will wake up tomorrow to find the pain gone. ((((Hugs)))

    ReplyDelete
  62. Just_Lin - I kind of thought it might be you to take "69"

    ReplyDelete
  63. Iteach - I think everyone worldwide feels ten pounds lighter tonight. It was a great weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  64. We are having a National election and it looks like we are getting a Conservative majority government.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Maureen...

Yow....I don't know much about discs and such...but I hope WHAT!!!???

    HOLY AND OPSIE DAISY!!

THERE IT IS!! SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT!!

I knew I would find it someday! Well! Seems this is quite an historical day too!

    ReplyDelete
  66. oops! I forgot in all the excitment....thats supposed to be Holy Cow!!

Just kidding!! I hopes its not something really bad Maureen and it just goes away....

    ReplyDelete
  67. For My Friend

    across the miles
    you touched my life,
    opened my eyes, and
    filled my empty heart-

    strangers, yet friends,
    our spirits reach out,
    always touching, never apart- -

    you in the east,
    me in the west,
    never together,
    never apart- -

    ReplyDelete
  68. TINKA...that was beautiful. Did you write that?

MICHAEL...I hope you never have to learn about discs. The pain is EXCRUCIATING. And it isn't even back pain, it is the radiating pain.

When one has a weak point, as I do in my back, stress will usually go to that point. I hope it is just stress, cause I know I have been under a lot as of late.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thank you Maureen. I didn't write it but it expressed my feelings tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Maureen - I wish I could perform miracles and I would definitely fix your back.. I know you can't easily just stay off work so I can only hope it is not a repeat of what you had last time.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hi Everyone......

MO: I so hope your back pain is not a disc. I too will pray that by morning the pain will be gone.

MICHAEL: I so feel for you with all your dental procedures. When do they expect to be finally finished with all this for you? How is Belle doing this week? I hope you feel better soon too.

Nothing much new out here. My husband and I had a couple of appts today and then ate dinner out while we were out (guess who that idea?)

    Lovely moaning at first TINA!!

JODI: How are things going for you now that you are back to work? I hope peaceful.

TINK: Yes, you are spoiled. How nice to wake up from your nap to a lunch all fixed for you. I am so glad you are so happy.

BEBBI: Your toot is still floating around here. I think I will light my Orange Blossom candle and make it smell pretty in here. I hope it doesn't give anyone the sneezes.

    ReplyDelete
  72. SHIRLEY: It is so nice to see your post and avatar back on the nest. We really missed you. We should have a nice brunch this weekend now that you are back and will be well rested by that time. What do you think? It's been a long time since gingerbread pancakes!

ZONA: I am singing all alone. Quit humming and sing with me....come on....Dinah won't you blow, etc. You know I am not a quiet singer but am a little shy. It's the dang song of the day...COME ON!!!

J/L: Will you sing with ZONA and I too? BTW, how DO you always seem to get those 69's?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Just read all the comments... LOL at Michael having a split personality! I'll have to ask DeeDee about that on FB!

The comments were great today! :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. And I just read all the comments in A51!

Carol: I KNEW you'd be the first to comment on the Bin Laden killing! My parents always tell me to say nothing but good about the dead.

    Bin Laden is dead. Good!

Tina: I've been posting across FB all day: Obama/Biden 2012!!!

And on a closely related topic:

    Michael: You said:

I don't know how the "Dump Truck" stood it....but I am so thrilled that they cut loose on his self promoting..lying...disrespectful..tacky pompous ass...

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the dinner, and how everybody teed off on Trump! He's brought it all on himself, with this incredible public display of anti-gay positions and the Birther nonsense. If he wanted to be a serious candidate for president, there are, shall we say, more important issues he could have come of the gate with!!!

Michael, Tink, and others: I kissed a squirrel and I liked it!

    ReplyDelete
  75. MO Could it be your sciatic nerve? :(

    ReplyDelete
  76. iteach That thingy on my neck is still there but smaller. I am on 10 days of antibiotics.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Dianne I don't always get 69's but I guess I've been on a bit of a roll lately. Maybe I'm practicing. I am taking a trip in a couple of weeks. :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. Bear Did you kiss the squirrel or grab his nuts?

    ReplyDelete
  79. MO: I think J/LIN is right..it sounds like sciatica..I hope you feel better in the morning..and yes, I do have a candle for that.. :)

DIANNE: Oh ok..♫DIANNE won't you blow his horrrrnnn..♫ ooops..I think I messed up the lyrics.. ;D

    BEAR: LOL@ Good! :)....:D

J/LIN: Did I tell you the story about the milkshake? Remind me to do that.. :D

TINKA: What a pretty poem! :)

    BARB: AirSWAK!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. J/L: Please! One thing at a time...

Zona: Jim's back down in the desert this week... he was sitting out on our back patio tonight around 11 enjoying the warm night.

I love warm nights! We only get a handful of them each summer around here.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Bear I love warm nights, too. It's the hot days that I can't handle anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I am tired but I can't sleep.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Is anyone hiding in the nest?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I guess I will get back into my warm cozy bed.

    ReplyDelete
  85. The house is so quiet because everyone is asleep.

    ReplyDelete
  86. MO - Take care of yourself. I hope you were able to rest last night!!

TINKA - Congrats on 100...and I about spit my coffee out. Sybill...lol lol lol!!!

MICHAEL - Can't wait for the next song!! Maybe we can do a duet ♥

    ReplyDelete
  87. DIANNE - So good to get back to a little bit of "normal". Home Health United picked up the walker and oxygen at Dad's yesterday, and my brother gave me the box of cards and memorials. I will be starting the thank you's in the next couple of days. I am overwhelmed at the generosity of family and friends ♥

    ReplyDelete
  88. BARB - Take care of yourself (((hugs))) from WESconsin ♥

Waving a wing at all my HOoters!!

I best get fluffed and spackled for work...c u later!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thank you my friends. I feel a little better. ZONA, keep the candle burning, ok?

I managed about 3 hours of sleep. I don't know how I'm going to sit at my desk all day.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Mo~ just lean over and fart.....it will relieve the pressure~ :D

    ReplyDelete
