This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

~ Epcot ~
by Tina~in_ut
Ever been? I don't know if I'd ever have gone to Epcot if the hubby didn't have a conference here. I'm glad we got to go. It was fun. For some reason, the picture below reminded me of someone~ :)~
There have been over 5,550 deaths in the Orlando-Kissimmee region, an average of 3 per 100,000 people. This number tallies both car crashes and pedestrian casualties, which are so high that the region was ranked by Transportation for America as the single most dangerous place for pedestrians. Bus riders are particularly vulnerable to getting hit by cars, since they exit the bus on long, wide roads with stoplights that are few and far between.
I read that we will be completely out of Iraq and our soldiers will be home for Christmas...
All the death and all the years and the debt it put the USA in....for nothing...GWB and Dick Cheney should dropped off in the middle of Iran... right after Condaleezma Rice is shot out of a cannon...
Michael Well, aren't you the handsome one today? I think you scared everyone away by alerting them that we have mice today. As you know, I have a working relationship with rodents so I can deal with it.
J/L...sorry to hear that....have there been any e coli outbreaks in your area recently? ...or when traveling did anyone place anything in your bag without your knowledge?
I had shooting pains thru my heart the other day....I just figured somebody's playing with a voodoo doll...
Loose stool is a way of life for me although 2 days ago I had a couple of one-piecers... floaters even! But they sunk before I could even get a pic!
I tell ya I am going to die and my tomb is going to say "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK GODDAMNIT!!"
Michael Well, it's not like a full blown food poisoning event. Been there, done that. Whatever this is, it isn't as bad as that. My son started having symptoms after I did and my friend started having symptoms the day before. I think there is just some kind of bug going around.
Michael - I am here. I have been busy all day decorating for Halloween. "The old grey mare she ain't what she used to be." What used to take me 5 minutes now takes half an hour. I guess I should be thankful I can do it at all. My window looks really great. I need a new camera so I can upload my pictures. They won't load into i-photo anymore. Instead of loading a sign comes up with a lot of letters. I have had the camera about 6 years so it's time I got a new one.
Congrats on being first. What is Mickey doing in your avatar?
Thanks for all the information in your posts. I don't have to read the paper anymore. I get the highlights from you.
Just_Lin - I hope your feel better soon. Sip on gingerale and eat dry crackers. That's all I can do with a sick stomach. Have you been to the doctor? Maybe you should.
TINA: COOL!! Very very cool! I have always wanted to go to Epcot..I guess I better start saving! :)
MICHAEL: How do people on Segways fare? ;)
J/LIN: I just heard from a neighbor that another neighbor down the street found rats in her backyard! Rats? I've never even seen a mouse here..let alone a rat! Well at least not the four legged kind.. ;)
I'm so sorry you aren't feeling good..hopefully you'll be feeling better very soon.
TINKA: How fun!! I can't wait to see the pictures!
I'm a little bummed out..hurt my bad knee again..I hope no one 'accidentally' bumped the shelf with the voodoo dolls on it..ijs.. ;)
Back to decorating. The fun part is getting out all my Halloween stuffies that talk. Some of them are very cute. Some are scary. My littlest grandchildren are one and four so I don't want to scare them. The oldest two are 13 and 16 but they are still very much into Halloween.
Zona - Jack and I are making dinner together. We are having home-made Chinese food and an apple upside down cake for dessert. Calories don't count on the weekends. What are you making?
Tinka Your dinner sounds good. My son has gone out to get us some won ton soup and pot stickers. It really doesn't matter what I eat. I will get stomach pains from it. I am definitely better than I was last Wednesday, at least.
I saw a woman last night at the Handi-Stop that had just come from a carnival for children somewhere...she was in costume...
I gave her my OMG! look and said good evening! That witch costume is great!! Those chin whiskers even look real!! And that big wart on your upper lip is the perfect touch!!
Well...things went downhill from there...seems the whiskers and wart weren't part of the costume...
well its off to Handi-Slap I go to get the diet coke!!
freaking dork alert!!!!! Hubby and I went on a romantic walk.....around the lake....we were sitting on a bench on the dock....and hubby saw an "animal" out of the corner of his eye.....it was a roach!!!!! Y U C K !!!!! So we got up and walked some more....ended up at the Ritz....went inside and walked around some more....nice....but I like our hotel better....left and walked back to our hotel....we were almost there...I could see the door.....and damn if I didn't twist my left ankle (not broken) and fall on my right knee...the couple behind us said not a werd....and kept going....the taxi drivers stood there staring....I was able to git back up without having to call for a crane....and hubby let me lean on him until I was able to sit at a table in the bar. That's when I found out I was bleeding all over my pants. The security guys had to come and clean up my knee and take a report....I felt so stupid....and I wanted to go to Tampa tomorrow and walk around.....now the hubby will want to just hang out here...ugh!
Miguelito~ not Alhiss~ guess again~
J/L~ hope ur feeling better soon~ doesn't sound like fun at all~
Tinka~ At Epcot, they had a garden in the Canadian section called "Victoria's Garden"....it certainly didn't look anything like Butchart Gardens, but it was based on it....so pretty and I thought of you~
Tina Well, a roach sighting (hey, it's Florida), twisting your ankle and falling on your knee. Not exactly the makings of a romantic evening. I was born in Tampa and, as a baby, came close to eating a roach one day while sitting on the ground outside of our house. I had a firm grip on it in my chubby little hand and was bringing it up to my mouth when my mother spotted it and stopped me. I ended up being a very picky eater as a child. Who'd a thunk it?
Tina.....did the crocs impede your ability to walk? How many cocktails had you had?
I'm sorry that you fell...that kinda did get a rise out of me....I guess somewhere deep down that I care about ur physical well being...ok and maybe a little mental....DAMN I HAT YOU!
Miguelito~ I'm gonna puke again....omg...i would have died!!!! Wasn't wearing the crocs....I was wearing the new sandals~ And no drinky until AFTER I fell~ LMBO...the pic isn't the mister...AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!! (but I did get a GREAT pic of his calves yestiddy!!!!)
OMG Michael, Mickey IS in a trap. Please change your avatar tomorrow or I will have nightmares. I love Mickey and the six year old inside me thinks he is real.
Tina - I had this lovely picture of your romantic walk and then you hurt yourself and now I am worried about you. Did you get an x-ray? Are you sure it's not broken? Thank you for thinking of me at Epcot. I would love to see the Canadian gardens there. Of course I would love to see all the other countries too. Take care. Why don't you get a wheel chair for tomorrow? You feel really stupid but you get to cut the line at any event.
Just_Lin - I hope you feel better tomorrow. Our dinner was very good but I don't think you would have been in the mood for it. I am being a worrisome elderly lady but did you go to the doctor for a check up? Do I have to come to the States and make sure all my blog buddies are taking care of their health?
I know!! Alissss without her wig...
