On May 2, 2011, the Copenhagen Philharmonic amazed commuters at the Copenhagen Central Train Station, as they created a kind of orchestral "flash mob" – performing Ravel's famed Bolero, with the musicians gradually assembling in place as the work progresses. The video – which shows not only the assembling orchestra, but also the delighted faces of the commuters – has generated overwhelming interest, and indeed has exceeded the orchestra’s expectations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Good Moaning~
ReplyDeleteMy friend Nancy sent this to me~ I thought it was neat~
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!!
ReplyDeleteTINA: Verrrry nice! I love flash mobs..and an orchestra? Cool! The guy in the fishing hat playing the kettle drum made me smile..I don't know why..lol..he just did.
Let me play catch up a little here while it's quiet..From 5!..I don't think I'll watch Rosie..I liked her first talk show..what little I saw of it anyway. It has nothing to do with Rosie..I just don't watch much TV anymore. Even less since the cancelled The Playboy Club..grrrr..
LOVE me some Tom Jones!! My mom and aunt loved him too..I guess he's just in my genes..kwim? :D
Well..back into the 100's for us Thursday and Friday..no biggee though because it's so cool here at night..I love this time of year!!
Have a good day everyone!
Oh and TINA...you are just stunning this morning..STUNNING! :)
Add phone?? What the heck was that Blogger? Phooey!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that should be 51..not 5!..I obviously have a finger that's still asleep..more Diet Coke please!! :D
Good morning Katarina! ...and "whats yer face.."
ReplyDeleteRosies show was good. The set couldn't have been brighter. Russell Brand is wonderful. Tonight is Wanda Sykes and Gloria Estefan..
Cher was great on DWTS...Richard Simmons was on to help Chaz with endurance training. He has really aged....but is still making people smile...
I guess after you've seen the flash mob that invaded the train station in Antwerp a few years ago....everyone I have seen since has paled badly in comparison.
That bunch must be anemic or something....you can see the people getting all cocked and primed for something great (prolly thinking of Antwerp) and then the looks on their faces change to "damnit!"
And then you see that old lady (no offense) at the end spinning aimlessly thinking "Jeg barberede mine ben for dette!!??"
I think they would be better suited to chamber music...perhaps in a submarine...IMHO...
i hat you!~
ReplyDeleteThose people looked like they just got out of bed....I don't think that was so much a "flash mob" as it was just a "mob"...
ReplyDeleteI saw 4 people smile though...
Did yall read about the feller throwin' that hot dog at Tiger Wood just as he was about to putt?
Yeah! Its all over the news! Neither the food item or the man got near Tiger....but I think its nice that somebody else is getting to throw their wiener around for a change...
And did yall see that gay Asian doctor playing the game on Rosie-O-Lezbo last night! Well he won and his prize was a trip for 2 to
J A M A I C A!!
this is the Caribbean's No-Go Zone for the LGBT community!! Very Dangerous...
Rosie advertised for a country that is homophobic and dangerous...what the hell is that about....and you know at first she was going to live in a Trump property...well she fixed that...I am sure the Jamaica thing will come up....we CANNOT endorse travel to countries that promote hate..violence and even death to the LGBT community...
Happy Tuesday Owls.
ReplyDeleteTina, Loved this vid. Last year around Christmas a friend of mine was supposed to participate in a flash mob. They were going to meet on the second floor of one of our malls. Apparently a LOT of people (about 4000) found out about it and were waiting for it to start when the floor started to creeeek and they had to evacuate the mall. The mob never got to sing their song, but they made the news.
Zona, I guess you were right! :0
J/L, from A-51, The leg thing started before I left for SM. I even went to the doctor on Thursday and she just gave me Vicodin.
Have a good day everyone. BBL
Tina I thought that was great fun. Thank you for the vid, and thank Nancy. Tell Nancy that we enjoyed the vid and also that you are the prettiest today. ;)
ReplyDeleteZona I especially liked the guy on the kettle drum, too. I smiled bigger when he came on. Love the hat. lol
ReplyDeleteMichael I was rather alarmed at the way Richard Simmons looked. It's like he aged 20 years in the last 2. That's what all that exercising will do for you.
ReplyDeleteWanda I didn't know that about Jamaica. Rosie should certainly know something like that or her "people" should.
ReplyDeleteJ/L...
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that something is wrong with Richard Simmons...
Now THAT is a music video!! Loved it!! Thanks Nancy!
ReplyDeleteSplat!!
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Tina, Zona, Michael, Wanda, SacBarb and Just Lin!
I can't find anything about his health online....but I was surprised that he just turned 63 in July....
ReplyDeleteI saw him doing a show in a mall once...and he was hilarious and just magic with the older crowd....he has helped a lot of people...
Hi everyone! I am Scott Walker. Governor of Wisconsin. How are you doing today?
ReplyDeleteI'm just dropping in on a few blogs today to say hello and to mention to you that some nasty people in my state are starting to gear up to recall me in 2012!
I know there are some of my favorite kind of republicans either here or lurking and I'd like to encourage all of you not to donate any money to this cause.
You can't sign the petitions because you aren't in Wisconsin. But you can donate money. So don't!
Have a nice day.
Oh yeah. Scott Walker for President/2016!!

Stepping over the line again.
ReplyDeleteHi EVERYONE.....Loved the blog today. Thanks Tina.
ReplyDeleteWe are having beautiful fall weather even though we had our first snow in town last week. We are back to the nice warm temps again.
Not much going on in this part of the world. I am not happy with my Broncos so far this season. 1-4 yuck but yea for the Detroit Lions!!!!
I am off for a mammo (fun) so you all behave and take care or yourselves.
Dianne Not sure what to say about the mammo. Have fun? Anyway, hope it's uneventful, let's say. I am quite happy with how my 49ers looked last Sunday. They were smokin'.
