  1. Good Morning Owls. Hope you are all well. It's dark and rainy here. Does anyone still have snow?

  2. Zona - Love your blog. It's very funny. I don't text but I get the idea that it must be easy to make mistakes. I don't think I could type with such tiny keys.

  3. Good Morning Michael where ever you are this morning. I am sorry I couldn't participate in your blog yesterday. I just think about public restrooms and I feel sick. I couldn't read it and I know you worked hard on it. ((((Hugs))))) asking for forgiveness.

  4. SacBarb - I am so happy you are feeling better. Each day you will be stronger. That's the one thing about that operation. My niece had a cancer operation. She is just completing six month of chemo. Each day she seems a little weaker. It breaks my heart as it is my sister's oldest daughter. I know Joan is looking over her from heaven.

  5. Time for breakfast and time to check my farms. Have a great Friday everyone.

  6. Good morning Tinka. About texting: Smart phones have a feature called auto-correct where after you type a word or two it tries to anticipate your next words and it is often very wrong. These texts are from a website that collects the mistakes. Some of them are so funny, I have had tears from laughing.

  7. Kathy, These are so funny, especially the crotch one. I can't get enough of them either. Thanks for sending them in, even though it hurts to laugh.

  8. I was sleeping soundly, finally, and the home nurse called to say she was on her way. It's been an hour and she isn't here yet. I could still be sleeping!

I'm really doing pretty well, they tell me. I have an annoying, (for me as well as everyone around me) hacky cough and my legs are still swollen, but not as much as when I first came home.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes, hugs, and prayers. I know they helped a lot. ♥

  10. Hi Lynn - Your feet didn't even land in the nest today. You must be busy.

  11. Good Morning SacBarb - Thank you for explaining the "auto correct". I knew they were funny but now I know why.

  13. Tinka Good morning. You are so pretty in first today. I guess you won't be going on a scooter ride today if it's raining. Pretty soon spring will be here again. There are blossoms on my plum tree and new green leaf buds on my willow tree.

  14. Zona Those were hysterical! Thanks for the laughhs today. I was crying from laughing. I think I like the shopping for a crotch one best. I thought I hated shopping but that puts a whole new spin on it. LOL

  15. SacBarb Well, I hope the home nurse has come and gone and all is going well with you. Too bad you didn't get to sleep longer. I've been sleeping in way too late lately. I'm not sure what that's about. Maybe I'm still run down from being sick for a week. I am back to Curves though and am feeling more energetic. Hey, keep those feet up. Do they have you on Lasix (furosemide)?

  16. LynnD Tell Richard I have a white sky today but I also have birds.

  17. J/L, The nurse has come and gone. Yes, I am on Lasix big time. I take 40mg in the morning and another 40 at 1pm. It has helped a lot, but I still have a lot to go.

  18. Tink-- we have lots of snow on the ground--over a foot and they r saying snow all weekend. March is r biggest snow month so no Spring this way for a few months.

Barb-- so glad u r feeling better each day. U must have a good full time son/ nurse!! Keep getting better.

Hi Lynn-- won't be long until u get two weather reports as fast as these grandkids grow. Gross for cleaning the bathrooms in retail---nasty!!!

Zona--I love reading these. I have to be careful myself with using my phone so much. Thanks for the smiles today.

JL--- I'll go for a penis with u. U can do the crotch shopping on ur own. I've been sleeping late too and I'm not sick. I don't know how I can sleep for so many hours.

Hope everyone has a good day. I'm meeting some friends for happy hour so that will be fun.

  19. Dianne, The nurse that was here this morning was the home health nurse. My full time nurse/son will be here til the end of the month. I am so lucky to have him here and he has been a great help. Since he has been through this surgery himself, he can almost anticipate my needs.

  20. Just_Lin - No Scooter ride today for us. I used to walk the dogs rain or shine but now I would rather sit inside and watch it through the window. Tango and Tia really need more exercise. We will try and do better.

I am sorry you haven't been well. A few more days will do it.

I am having trouble getting to sleep these days. I think I am worried about the health of some of my family members. I have too good of an imagination. I need to put my brain in neutral and get 8 hours of sleep. Everyone feels so much better if they get enough sleep. I think half the country is sleep deprived.

  21. Dianne - Send us some snow but just enough to last 4 days. We could use one more bout of winter. Then we will really appreciate Spring.

  22. I am up from my nap. Jack is home and is taking me to the Spa soon. I will have 3 hours of complete relaxation. (That is once the waxing is over.) I am looking forward to being spoiled for 3 hours. Jack will have a steak dinner ready for us when we get home so I guess I am already spoiled.

  23. Barb - I love to see you posting again. The operation will soon be a distant memory. Won't that be nice?

  24. Was having a good day but' I talked to a dear friend today and she has to go for a biopsy on Monday as they found a tumor in her lung. She is 81. I love this woman. It has really bummed me out this afternoon.
