  2. I woke at 5:30am today. There really r birds up at that time of day---crazy. I can't go back to sleep oh we'll, a little alone time. Very quiet. Last night at midnight Louis thought he would like a shower and bandage change. Midnight wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but Florence Nightingale that I am did it. I'm working really hard onnot being Nurse Ratchett. Tina, I might yet be turning into a saint---what do u think?

Jl---I was thinking of calling u and singing good morning song when I woke up. Would u have appreciated that bright and early?

My Texas cousins r in tow today for the weekend. I can't wait to see them. We r having a big family BBQ tomorrow so everyone will get a chance to see them. It will be at my daughters. Louis was hoping to go but I don't feel he is well enough to leave the house art this point.

Yesterday was a bad day but talked to dr and they put him on steroids for a week. They had to do something as the ER was my next choice. We shall see how it works over the weekend as we don't go to dr until next Thursday.

Can u all tell I must feel like venting and talking this am---please just bear with me and humor me. Thank you.

Michael--I hope today is a feel good day for you. You should have jumped in the car with my cousins and u could have met not only me but the whole family. How exciting for u.

Well, time to close for now. Hope each persons day is good today and maybe some of u that chose to would throw in a prayer or good vibe for our house today. I would appreciate it a lot. Zona, do u have some of those candles to burn?

  4. Lily Safra's jewelry that she auctioned for those 20 charities raised 37.9 mil instead of the estimated $20 mil.

This Burmese ruby set a record for the highest price ever paid for a ruby at auction. 32.8 carats for $6.7 million....

  5. hi Dianne...

The trip sounds fascinating but I have to stay around here so I can keep an eye on things. Its always something around here!

I spend a fortune not to be bothered with everyday things but it has been reported to me that the White girls have been using my good toilet paper in their terlit. So who do you think is going to have to handle it? ME!!!

I guess I'm going to have to hire another assistant...I just can't be bothered with problems like this...

I told you I'm not well!!

  8. Dianne Well, I was definitely home at 5:30 a.m. but not too sure I would have heard the phone. I'm sorry that Louis isn't getting more relief by now. I hope you enjoy your family bbq tomorrow.

  10. Michael It's good that so many charities benefited from the jewelry.

  11. Zona Sorry about your computer. Maybe you should light a candle for it, too. :)

  12. Mo, Funny pics, especially the woman with the smiley face panties. I'm thinking she may have known that it showed and just wanted to say "have a nice day" to everyone behind her.

Also, I could use 9 days a week, sometimes. Wonder where that store is?

  15. Zona, I hope that fire isn't too close to you. Even if its not real close, it can screw up the air and make it smelly and hard to breathe. Keep your inhaler close.

  16. J/L, Glad you had a nice time on the cruise and I hope you didn't lose too much $$ in the casino.

  17. Good evening feathered friends!

Thanks for the comments! I had to laugh when I read them!

DIANNE...i'm sorry that Louis isn't feeling better. I hope the steroids do the trick, but he has to try really hard not to overdo it. Enjoy your BBQ

When I managed the jewelry store it always struck me funny that people would complain that the Rubies and Emeralds looked flawed and wanted the really clear shiny ones. The clear shiny ones were manufactured and the not so clear were the real ones!

  18. SacBarb I did lose money but not too much. I just figure it's the price of the entertainment and I did entertain myself for a long time.

  19. MO I have a ring with a rather large emerald. I can see that there is a flaw in it so I guess I can safely assume that the stone is real. lol
