Good too early morning. I guess this sleeping all day is catching up with me. I think it's time for another Percocet and hopefully back to sleep. OR. I will go into barbs medicine cabinet.
ReplyDeleteIf I took one bottle for each ailment, I'd be rip roarin drunk!!! Then I'd be looking for the hang over bottle. Nice redecorating, Barb.
Morning Glories!
ReplyDeleteWaving at Dianne so sad to see you are laid up again. :(
Richard had a fantastic birthday and the rest of us are worn out. His mom did end up buying him a cake, the other one did not work out. Richard went to the store and picked it out himself. It was a chocolate cake with white chocolate frosting and chocolate curls all over it. Yep he's my grandson. :)
I would use that medicine cabinet for books.
Good Morning Dianne - Congrats on being first even if you would rather be sleeping. Wishing you a day free of pain.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Lynn - I am so happy Richard had a great birthday. His cake sounds delicious.
Jack had fun too. I am worn out today but Jack is still young enough to be up at five, off to the ferry to go to Vancouver to pick up fish from one of his producers.
I am going to take it easy today. Jack has another party on Saturday, one that he will share with our son.
Thanks for all the good wishes sent his way yesterday. He got a kick out of that.
Barb - You now have the world's most unique medicine cabinet. You had better put a lock on it because I think Dianne is on her way to your house.
Have a great day everyone.
Dianne Good morning. Well, it's still before noon here so I can say that. I'm so sorry about your painful knee. Are you scheduled for surgery? I think you better have that surgery before you attempt to go down those steps into Barb's medicine cabinet.
ReplyDeleteSacBarb I don't think I'd like that "hatch" right in the middle of my kitchen floor. But, I guess when you need your medicine, you do what you gotta do.
ReplyDeleteLynnD Sounds like Richard picked out a good cake. I guess he got the chocolate gene.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of keeping books in the medicine cabinet. Maybe Dianne could keep her cookbooks in hers. Bwahahaha!!!
Tinka You get to celebrate birthdays over several days. How fun! Does that mean more birthday cake? What's Jack's favorite kind?
ReplyDeleteJust-Lin - I can't think of a cake that is not a favourite of Jack's. Strawberry short cake, Chocolate Cake, Christmas cake to name a few. I think his favourite for a birthday party is an ice cream cake. It's not my favourite which is a good thing. I eat a very small piece. It should be a fun party because our middle daughter, the chartered accountant, is able to make it. I mention her profession because April is her busiest month and she has never been able to come over for her birthday (the 21st. or mine the 23rd) so it will be great having the whole family together.
ReplyDeleteTinka It sounds like you will have a fun birthday celebration this weekend. How nice that the whole family can attend. I have a hard time passing up chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Another favorite of mine is yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
ReplyDeleteI am salivating at all the "cake talk!" Cake is a big weakness of mine, besides WINE! lol!
ReplyDeleteI am feeling a few ailments coming on :)
First thing first....gottah pee!!!!!
Mary I hope you stave off any ailments. I'm getting over a cold that seems to have only effected the left side of my head.
ReplyDeleteWell, I got into dr unexpectedly today. He looked at mybxrays, took more, and said I needed a new knee. I also have things floating around in there like door stops and thats why it won't move and is sp painful. They scheduled me for first available of oct 23. Hoping something opens up before then. It's a long wait when you can't move and you just lay here worrying
ReplyDeleteJL:: darn, how am I going to do those stairs to get my cookbooks? You are so funny!!!
ReplyDeleteDianne Once your knee is fixed, you'll be able to get to them just fine. I hope you can get your surgery sooner than Oct. 23.
ReplyDeleteJust_lin, No "real" ailments, just thinking I needed the wine dosages, you know, just in case!
ReplyDeleteDiane, no wonder you are in such pain! I remember having to go to work with so much pain that I would cry wondering how I would make it through the night. I remember taking 3 or 4 Vicodin and still no relief! I sure hope they can "up" your date. Hang in there. It will be all over soon! I can already see you doing the happy dance :)
Thanks for the cheers. I can't see me doing a dance yet. The Percocet do put me to sleep but don't really ease the pain. I'm such a worrier!!! And baby.
ReplyDeleteMary Ah! I see you believe in preventative medicine. Good choice. :)
ReplyDeleteDianne I know it's scary but try to focus on how much better you'll feel when it's all over.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday Owls.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments. Sorry I didn't fly in sooner. I was kinda busy today and I didn't know the blog was mine.
Dianne, I'm glad to hear you got a date for surgery, but I'll pray that someone will cancel and you can get in sooner.
Waving to all the other Owls. I'm yawning and falling asleep, so I am going to beddy bye. Sweet dreams.
Sweet dreams, Barb.
