This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Morning Lynn and Jodi ---you both look beautiful as first and Area 51. Yup, you both beat me today and I'm glad. I had a decent sleep until pills at 5:30 and then again at 7:00. It's nice and cool here with my little window open.
Today is big morning for me. Shower day and PT all in one morning.
TINA: I'm lucky if my brain sees the the at all..js.. ;)
LYNN: Good Morning to you beautiful! :)
DI: Quick on the the trigger this mornin' I see..that's good!! :D
J/LIN: I have a friend here who is a Giants FA-NA-TIC..for her, you, LANI, EBJ..I can't help but root for them in the the playoffs..even if there's always some *rattle rattle* going on during the the regular season! :D
JODI: There are a couple of pics of the the pumpkins he's carved on the the computer..I'll re-size them and send them to you today! :)
LynnD Good morning! LOL @ brain auto correct! Reminded me of when my daughter first moved to the town where she now resides. It's kind of "country" out there. She was driving to the dock to catch the ferry to go to work and passed a dead dog on the side of the road. She hates when she sees something like that, as do most of us. Anyway, 2 days later it was still there so, she calls Animal Control about it. The following day it was still there. She was really upset now. One more day and she finally takes a long look at it (something she avoided doing before) and it was a rolled up carpet! Sometimes our brains steer us in the wrong direction. I bet Animal Control goes out on "carpet" calls a lot more often than we realize.
Tina Thanks for the blog. I did catch all the double The's but that might be because it was printed large on my screen. Or, maybe I'd make a good book editor. Or, maybe my brain's auto correct is broken. :)
I caught the double 'the' but probably because I had a teacher in college that trained the class how to spot this kind of thing. Her first job was as a proofreader and she taught us some good tips, most of which I have forgotten. :/ Thanks for the reminder, Tina.
Lynn, LOL @ brain auto correct. You are looking very rested and lovely in first today.
Dianne, Don't ya just hate when you are sleeping soundly and they wake you for some stupid reason, like pills? When I was in the hospital, a lab tech came in every night at 2:30am to take blood.
JUST LIN...I have a similar story as your daughter. One morning driving to work there was a cop on the side of the road. Pretty normal. But on the way home, he was still there and somewhat hunched over. I was livid and scared for this poor cop. I drove straight to the Police Department and starting yelling at the desk sargent. "How can you leave your officers out there for 9 hours and not check on them? And now he is hunched over. I pay taxes here and you don't check on them if they don't call in. How could you?"
The cop bursted out laughing...as he told me it is a mannequin! They put them in unused cruisers to slow down traffic! I was mighty embarrassed!
Everyone b good while I'm gone. Will try to check in on my phone. Heading to Ohio with my Aunt Jane. We are visiting family down in Lima. My Great Auntie Joyce is so excited for us to come. She's a stitch....has the jello shots ready!!!
Morning Glories!
