A woman from New York was driving through a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian on horseback came along and offered her a ride to a
nearby town.
She climbed up behind him on the horse and they rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes
the Indian would let out a Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a' so loud that it echoed
from the surrounding hills and canyon walls. When they arrived in town,
he let her off at the local service station, yelled one final
'Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a!' and rode off.
"What did you do to get that Indian so excited?" asked the service-station attendant.
"Nothing," the woman answered "I merely sat behind him on the horse, put my arms around his waist, and held onto the saddle horn so I wouldn't fall off."
"Lady," the attendant said, "Indians don't use saddles."

Good one Mary. I almost had a visual. Thanks for the blog. Think I will go find an Indian and a horse for my Saturday fun. :)
ReplyDeleteWoke early dreaming today. We had some more light snow over the night. Snugly and warm in bed with my blankets and iPad.
Hope you all have a good day.
MARY: Now that's my kind of alternative transportation!! :D
ReplyDeleteDI: I hope it was a good dream!!
More snow? Yikes! We're celebrating because it looks like the 100's may be gone..it's supposed to be 98 here today..woohoo!! :D
I have to go wake Randy up..he has to take the car in..so if y'all here a loud ROAR it's just him not taking kindly to being woken up early on a Saturday..lol..
Have a great day everyone!! :)
Dianne Well you certainly look lovely all bright-eyed and bush-tailed today. Must have been a good dream, huh?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it too early for snow? It sure feels like it since we just got a little real summer weather recently.
Mary Ha! That was a good one. I'd hold on to that guy's saddle horn any day. Thanks for sending in the blog.
ReplyDeleteZona I guess that's not Randy's preferred way to spend a Saturday. Life requires so much maintenance, doesn't it? I should probably dust and vacuum today. Looks like it will be a pretty day so we will see if I actually do do housework or not.
ReplyDeleteMichael If you are reading this, I am thinking of you. Parenthesis.
ReplyDeleteYippee, went back to sleep until alarm went off or Randy yelling---I don't know which it was but it was annoying!!
ReplyDeleteJL, yes it is early for snow. It's light but early. We have beautiful fall here so it will be back but all the pretty leaves will be on the ground.
Zona, I'd be celebrating too if it wasn't 100 anymore. We had enough of that kind weather this year to last a lifetime.
Time to get ready to get my hair beautified
Dianne More highlights?
ReplyDeleteYeeeeouch! Mary!
ReplyDeleteDianne you are just an early owl and so pretty in first. :)
Been painting today and coming up with some fun things. First day able to paint without a kid bugging me. :)
Barb I have fridge envy!
Waving at Kathy and J/L
OMG Dianne you have snow all freaking ready?
ReplyDeleteLynnD Yay for having uninterrupted painting time! Btw, I have fridge envy, too. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi---do any of you recognize me? It's me-----Dianne with no gray highlights any more. Hope Incan get it to last for awhile since I don't know when I'll be getting back there.
ReplyDeleteStill dripping rain mixed with snow here and cold
Lynn---glad you were able to get some painting in today. Sounds like a good day. Yes, our snow is early this year. At least it's not sticking much.
Zona-- it seemed like a good dream this morning but now I can't remember it.
Went to dinner with two good friends early tonight. It was a nice visit. Knee day getting closer as we speak. It was my last hurrah today. It's mani/pedi day tomorrow, dr on Monday and then.....
Ok, everyone have a good night.
Barb, hope youbhaveca nice trip. I love you're refrigerator.
Dianne You look wonderful! Sounds like you had a nice evening with friends. Won't you be happy when all this surgery business is behind you and you won't have to worry about it any more?

Did someone say s-n-o-w?
We turned our heat on for the first time today. I sadly tucked away all my summer shorts and took the big girl pants out of storage :(
Waving at all, as I head back to FB~~~~~~~~~
Mary I turn my heater on all year long. Well, not necessarily every day or night but there's not much difference in seasons here.
ReplyDeleteJL...I will be so glad to have all this behind me. I feel like its been in the planning stages forever. You all probably do too with me whining all the time!!!
ReplyDeleteMary...glad you were the youngest at the reunion :). Hope you had fun. By reading FB it sounds like it. My 50th is in two years and they already have it planned.
We have our heater cranking tonight!!!
My heater is on, too.
