~ Bronco Bamma & Mitt Romney ~

by Tina~in_ut

4:45am....I was going to bed.....and this came on the news.....I laughed so hard....out loud I said...."and that's today's blag!~ Good Moaning~

A Colorado mom captured her daughter's sobbing response after hearing about the election one too many times. The pair had been listening to NPR during a trip to the grocery store when 4-year-old Abigael decided she was done. With great big tears rolling down her cheeks, the little girl declared, "I'm tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney."

GUESS you forgot it is your birthday because I don't see the song where it should be....so we will just move its location today!!!!

  2. Tina: this little girl was on our news too. They showed a little more of an interview with her. She was naming all the planets etc., very cute. I think she kind of sums up what a lot of us are thinking at this point of election year. It's almost a time that we look forward to the E Dysfunction, car insurance and Sonic commercials again. Lol. (I am glad to see the Broncos must have a new player we didn't know about). :)

I hope you have a great birthday and have a yummy dinner somewhere. You can go to your favorite Olive Garden and have that lemon cake you love PLUS when you buy a dinner, they give you another to take home. Can't beat that for a deal. Anyway, enjoy your day.

  3. Area 51: Jodi, I love waking up and reading your late night comments. So glad to see you posting.

How are you doing? I'll bet you are getting excited for that Hawaii vacation just around the corner. Ahh, I'd like to be there right now on the beach!!! Hope all is good with you and congrats on being last on the blog....all pretty and going to work.

Zona: it sounds like you had another fun busy Halloween night. Did you get rid of all that candy? Now the work comes of putting everything away and getting out the Christmas decorations!!!

JL, please pass a snickers. It's my appetizer before breakfast.

  4. Well, aren't I chatty for six in the morning. I had to wake up for my sugar test and then the sad part of telling my favorite night staff thank you and good bye. I really especially like the night CNA

JL, good idea to check on volunteer work here. I could easily give up my bingo calling at the other place. I think I will check on that for down the road.

Guess its time to give others a chance to talk and maybe i will try and go back to sleep. Seems like my knee (s) hurt me most when I'm trying to sleep. This too will pass as someone said.....I just wish it would hurry.

  5. Morning Glories!

Tina I am giving you first today for your Birthday! Happy Birthday Tina! Sorry Dianne.

The kids did go trick or treating last night but Gma stayed home. I was exhausted from all of the high energy they had all day. Most of you probably saw they were pirates.

I am feeling a little bit better. Thanks for asking. :)

  9. Happy Birthday Tina and Happy All Saints Day.

I am only half awake. I guess I am not used to going to parties. I feel like I have been partying for weeks.

Lynn - Your grandchildren are gorgeous.

Dianne - I am excited for you too. It will be so nice to be in your own bed.

Zona - I would love to have a pumpkin of Tango and Tia but I think it's just a dream. Oh unless you delivered them and stayed the month of August. That would be great.

Happy November 1st to all Owls everywhere. A special ((((HUG))))) for our Michael.

  10. Tina Happy Birthday!!! Will you be doing anything special today? I hope you have a great day. This is my daughter's birthday, too. It's the big 40 for her. What about you?

I just saw that vid of the crying little girl on The View. Too cute. LOL @ Bronco Bomma.

  11. Dianne Well, today is the big day. Tonight you get to sleep in your big girl's bed. Won't that be great?

  13. Getting ready to blow this joint in a matter of minutes. I'm just waiting for Louis to come and help me pack.....shower here I come!!!

On to the next chapter of this journey to (I'm sure) have more pain to muster through and hopefully, more challenges to overcome.

Tink, I think that's a great idea to have Zona come and visit you and come bearing gifts---pumpkins. You are the party owl of the nest. We can't or should I say I can't keep up with you. I'm glad you are having fun.

Zona, I love your left over candy but it might melt if you sent it and it would cost more to ship than to buy. Lol

Lynn, I'm going to FB to see your pictures. I bet the kids looked cute.

I guess with Tina being born on the first makes her a Saint!!! Hmm, never quite looked at her in that way.

  14. Hi JL, we were writing at the same time. Yes, it will be great to be in my own bed tonight.

Well, Louis is here so off to get to go.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Zona I thought you sang beautifully. I'm sure Tina appreciates it. I haven't had a Baby Ruth or Butterfinger in a long, long time but I used to like them when I was a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Tinka I guess I'll take down my meager decorations that were outside and got rained on. They will have been up all of 24 hrs.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Dianne I forgot to congratulate you on being first today. You sure do look pretty, even prettier than usual.

    ReplyDelete
  18. JL, I might look prettier with my bed head because I'm smiling that I get to go home---as a matter of fact, I am home.

  19. Afternoon Asters.

No the kids are not on a sugar high. They have had one piece of candy each today.

Eva just took a 3 hour nap. Thank God! I think she was worn out from yesterday. Gma needed a quiet day. imjs

Dianne I am so happy to read you are going home! Nothing like your own bed and routine. Yay!

Thank you Tinka I think they are gorgeous too, but I may be partial. :)

Just are 51.. Zona, 325 trick or treaters!! Hole moley!!
Jim, lol @ your piggy comment!

Dianne, welcome home!! I remember sleepless nights with my knee. I couldn't even stand to feel the sheets on it. If I over do during the day, it takes me a while to relax before going to sleep. You will find your best position to sleep ( or whatever :). Maybe a pillow under it. Hmm, that didn't sound right! hee hee

LynnD,I hope you are all rested by now.

Tinka, such a party gal! Life is good eh?

JustLin, Happy 40th to your daughter! My sons are in their 40s. Hard to believe they are older than me :)

  35. Good Evening Owls.

I had a busy day today. I got up late and had to rush to get ready to go to lunch and the theater with Sharon. We saw Memphis and it was very good. Neither of us knew what it was about before the show, but we liked it very much.

After the show, I had to hurry to church because today is All Saints Day.

And speaking of All Saints, Happy Birthday Tina. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Dianne, I bet you are so happy to be home. I found it so much more relaxing at home.

Jodi, you will like the Wicked series.

Tinka, Maybe Randy can do both fur babies on one pumpkin. I don't think those craft pumpkins are very heavy, so it might be easy to mail it.

J/L, left over candy is EXACTLY why I didn't buy any. I got no trick or treaters again and it would have ALL been left over. Then I would have been forced to eat it, because as my mother told me, there are starving children in India. What that has to do with me in the USA I don't know, but I would eat it anyway.

Zona, I have a lot of sparkly stuff and a need to go to Michael's. TYVM :-)

Lynn, I love that we are different flowers every day. The g-kids looked adorable.

Mary, LOL @ Jim not carving the turkey.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dianne Yay! You're home! Isn't that great? So....what was for dinner?

    ReplyDelete
  38. HOdi I'm jealous about your upcoming trip. You all are going to have sooooo much fun!!!

  39. Mary Amazing how my kids and I have all ended up being the same age. That is until I look in the room the room that my son is staying in and realize he's still 12. :(

    ReplyDelete
  40. SacBarb Not surprisingly, there is less left over candy today than there was last night. Funny how that happens.

    ReplyDelete
  41. JL, dinner was from Panera Bread---one of my favorite places. I had a gift card and thank you very much owls for our dinner.

Well so fari I've taken a nap and laid here watching CMA show. I love that awards show. They have much more entertainment than awards. Tonight Is a tribute to Willie Nelson by all the artists.
