This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
I guess I am the pretty one today.. (if you could see me right now, you would not be saying that)
Loved the Aunty Acid jokes...
It is snowing in Syracuse New York and it looks so pretty outside.
Yesterday I enjoyed listening to the laughter of two little boys playing in the snow for the first time. They live in Florida and this is the first year that they are spending Christmas morning at their grandparents. There son Jason is a doctor so I yelled out to him to take a picture of the boys playing in the son. While he was clicking away with his Iphone they were pelting him with snowballs. Precious & a memory for them all....
Dianne....wish you the very best!
Each day I am feeling a little better. The nurse said pneumonia can hang in there for awhile. Ugh!
Hi and Good Morning Gloris. You r very beautiful at first today I have bed head right now.could be because I'm not out of bed. Ha ha
Received a great glowing report from dr yesterday. He is pleased with my progress, go to pt for four more weeks, keep using the dreaded leg machine and (the best) don't come back for nine months!!!! Yippee I m so excited.
I am headed back to Dad's today. It looks like the funeral will be the 29th in Napavine where my dad lives. So much to do and I have to say this is exhausting.
Lynn, Im sure you are exhausted with all this with you dad and throw the holidays in there too. You will be ready for a beach trip after the first of the year. Take care of yourself and sending a big huge hug to you.
Gloria It doesn't matter what you look like because you are definitely prettier than the rest of us today. Funny you should point out the typos because I read your words the way you meant them in the first place. I guess I wouldn't make a good proofreader. Ha!
Gloria, You are the prettiest early bird today. I have had pneumonia and it does take quite a while for it to be all gone.
Dianne, Great news. That machine must be doing the job. Can you tell the difference?
Lynn, Happy Anniversary to you and Mr. Lynn. What were you thinking when you decided to get married three days before Christmas? I am sending big (((HUGS))) to you. Remember, if you need to get away by yourself, Sac is just a short flight. ♥
I have been so pooped out today! The last few days have been hectic. I tend do be a multi tasker so I poop out faster lol! My cookies are done, just need to make a batch of candy. I have never tried this recipe, not even sure what they are called. I saw it on the Today show. It looked so easy. Just watch me botch it up! It takes melted choc. chips,Chinese noodles, and peanuts. No baking involved.
Donna, we still have a pwdering of snow on the ground. Just enough to make it look pretty lol!
Gloria, sorry about your stubborn pneumonia :(
Dianne woot woot!! I know the wonderful feeling of not having to return to the Dr for a loooong time :)
LynnD, I am so sorry you are having to deal with so much right now.Remember, us owls have big ole shoulders!
JustLin, I didn't notice the typos either! How lucky you are to be able to walk the pier!
Did some wrapping tonight and guess what? I found my lost two gift cards!!! They were in a bag with some stockings I bought to put gift cards into. I was so excited. Now if I could just find those NFL pillowcases I lost everything would be peachy!!
We were going to go to a movie tonight but changed our minds and ordered out and did wrapping. I'm all done and Louis has a little more to do.
Goodmorning everyone!!
