This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
LOL J/L. These are hysterical. I have been on the dog shaming site and it cracks me up every time. Love the two dogs that one poops and the other eats the evidence and the dog who peed on his owners leg at class. LOL
Good Morning Lynn, Jodi and all other Friend Owls.
Just_Lin - Thanks for the laughs.
For those who asked, I haven't been on the blog because of my eyes. I still have flashes and floaters. I have been to the eye doctor three times now. The retina is threatening to tear but so far it hasn't. I have been told to rest my eyes so I have been doing very little. Not great for Christmas time. I have Jack, Cara and my granddaughter decorating with me supervising. They are helping to keep my farms surviving. My granddaughter likes that. I am not able to do any cards this year so I will have to wish everyone a Merry Christmas on the blog and Facebook. The doctors are hoping that if I am careful the eye will settle down. I refuse to think of the alternative because I have very little sight in my left eye. I am having more tests Thursday. I will check back then.
HOdi Good morning! I hope you're having a great day so far. I think I'll go to work for a short time to finish up a couple of things, then go get more sunflower chips for the wild birds. Other than that, I'll probably just putter around the house today. What are you up to?
Tinka Sending prayers and good wishes your way and crossing my fingers for good measure. I hope things settle down with your eyes. I'm so glad you have such good helpers giving you a hand.
SLIN - Just got home from work about an hour ago. Crazy morning!! But it makes my day fly by! Later Paul and I are heading to a Christmas party thrown by my boss for all the full time co-workers. Our Food Service Leader is making the meal and we are all bringing our own "holiday cheers"!! Thankfully he gave me tomorrow off so I can whoop it up tonight!!
J/L, I've had some of those dogs all wrapped up into one. When we first got our cocker spaniel he was very precocious (code for naughty), but he settled down and was the best dog evah. We had him for 15 years. Thanks for the reminders.
Lynn, You are our beauty. Are you blonde again?
Jodi, Have fun at the party, but remember, you have to work with those people, so no dancing on the tables.
Tinka, praying that resting your eyes does the trick.
Dianne, Maybe you need a hobby to keep from getting bored. Try making some cards, it's really fun.
*GASP* Our Zoie would NEVER do any of those things! well maybe one lol!! If our outside dog barks at something(like 6am today) she shrieks like a banshee and jumps around driving us crazy!! She has never touched any of our remotes, wires or cables, but she does have a taste for shoe insoles :+/
Tinka I used to get floaters when I would be tired , not good when driving!
Jodi PARTEEE!!!
Barb, 15 yrs wow! I hope ours lives as long. Our out door dog Roxy,is about 12. Zoie is almost 2
Dianne, When your knee gets better you can "ZUMBA" to keep you occupied! LOL!!
J/LIN: Awww..such cuties..and I know what they did was wrong..but I really want to hug them all anyway. I especially wanted to tell that one pup he wasn't really a douche..lol.. :D
JODI: I always liked working during the holidays. People could be rushed and irritable..but I liked trying to make them smile. Sometimes it was a challenge though..and now that I'm older..I don't think I'd be up for it anymore..js.. ;)
BARB: Your dog settled down? That gives me hope for Nik!!! ;)
TINKA: I'm glad your family is helping out so you can get the rest you need to help your eye get better. :)
DI: You could always have a Bronco party..just make sure everyone brings some food and a...
Barb, I'd have to come visit to learn to make cards and they would never look as beautiful as yours do. I will have to find something to do when I'm done with pt and all recovered. I don't think I'm going back to bingo.
Hi Zona ...I'd like a red solo cup about now for my Saturday night cheer. I asked my pt employer (Tammy) when we were having our office Christmas party. She seems to think its dinner on Christmas Day!!!
Jodi, we haven't had Bronco parties this year after many years of having them. No one really wanted to them. I think everyone is getting too old to do the work. We had one couple over while I've been recuperating and they brought the dinner. I kind of miss them
Tammy and the girls and I went for mani/pedi today. Ahh, that felt good. Hadn't been there since right before surgery. We went to lunch afterwards. It was a nice day and I was even able to get into the chair.
Diann, Thanks for the compliment. I would love for you to visit so we could make cards together. Maybe we could talk J/L into coming over too. It really isn't as hard as it looks. I make all kinds of mistakes, but I've learned how to hide some and ignore the others. I bet Tina and Kathy can find them, though.
Kathy, Yes, Dart settled down when he was about three years old. We got him when he was about two. How old is Nikki?
Mary, Doesn't Roxie ever come in the house, even in the cold Michigan winter? :(
I've been making gift tags today with one of the Jennifers. It's much more fun to craft with a friend than alone.
Barb, yes Roxy comes in in the winter. She likes to roam, so gets antsy inside. She also comes in during the 4th of July fireworks days and during thunderstorms. She has her own huge padded bedding to sleep on when inside. Outside she has her dog house, the garage and likes to go under the porch. Shes a choc Lab.
Time for these old bones to go to bed. I got up early today. May sleep in tomorrow :)
JL. I'm with you. It takes me long enough to send quite a few much less make them as nice as our owls do. I still have about 8 more to write out from address changes.
Jodi, are you sleeping or still partying?
Ok, I'm mad at myself!! I have lost a couple of presents for my grand kids. I know I've seen them and now after all the wrapping is done I cant find them and its driving me nuts!! I can replace one but not the other ones for the boys as the don't have them is stock anymore. Where the heck could I have put them?
Morning Glories!

The blog is funny but reminds me why I'm animal free.
Lynn, pretty pretty are you this bright morning. Should I be packing for the beach yet?
Jodi, big night tonight. I wish I had a work party or any party to go to....but then I guess I'd have to work. Nah
TINKA - I hope resting your eyes is just the ticket. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way ♥

20!!! Where's Jodi...oh yeah prolly passed out from her Christmas partying! Looked like good times Jodi!! Glad you have the day off !
ReplyDeleteJust got done making out the Christmas cards. If I had to actually make the cards, too, no one would get them until July 4. LOL

ReplyDeleteDianne...most likely you have wrapped it and put someone else's name on it. I have done that before...
