An older lady named Ida was somewhat lonely since her cat died and she decided she needed another pet to keep her company. So, off to the pet shop she went. She searched and searched. None of the pets seemed to catch her interest, except this ugly frog. As she walked by the jar he was in, she looked and he winked at her.
He whispered, 'I'M SO LONELY, TOO . BUY ME AND TAKE ME HOME.. YOU WON'T EVER BE SORRY.'
Ida figured, what the heck! She hadn't found anything else. So she bought the frog. She placed him in the car, on the front seat beside her.
As she was slowly driving down the road, the frog whispered to her 'KISS ME AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY..'!
So, Ida figured, WHAT THE HECK, and kissed the frog.
IMMEDIATELY the frog turned into an absolutely gorgeous, sexy, young, handsome prince.
THE PRINCE THEN RETURNED IDA'S KISS.
SUDDENLY IDA FELT HERSELF
TRANSFORMING FROM HIS KISS. NOW
CAN YOU GUESS WHAT IDA TURNED INTO?
COME ON GUESS!

ReplyDeleteHealthwise...feeling better
Good morning Gloria. Congrats on being our first beauty today. Glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteDianne, LOL thanks for the laugh. I did not expect that ending. I must be too old.
Gotta go gross-ry shopping today. I always put it off until I have almost nothing left to make a decent meal because I really hate shopping.
Tina, thanks for all your work posting the blogs for us. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Gloria....you are lovely at first today. It's quite the honor around here to be first on the daily blog. We don't give presents though.....dang it!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. Anytime is awful to be sick, but now at this time of year just seems harder. Take care and hope you will get better each day.
Barb, I think my knee machine might be different than the one you used. I have to sit on the end of a hard back chair and prop for on the box and then hook this big old thing on to my thigh, knee and ankle. They say I now own it. Just what I wanted to store somewhere.
Glad you and Gloria enjoyed the blog the ending surprised me too.
Tina, I second what Barb said. Thank you so much for keeping the blog going. Post sometimes so we see all is well with you.
Gloria Good morning and congrats on being prettiest today. Glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteDianne Thanks for the chuckle. Maybe when you look for a place to store that machine, you'll come across the missing gifts. Are you sure you even bought those gifts or do you just think you did. LOL
ReplyDeleteSacBarb For some reason, shopping for food is the only shopping I really don't mind doing.
ReplyDeleteHorrible shooting in Connecticut at an elementary school. 27 dead and 18 of them are children.
ReplyDeleteChildren are God's Blessings...
ReplyDeleteI cried today!!
So Senseless, So Sad...
Do you know what's nice about staying off the computer and actually having a day off from werk? You don't know a thing about a shooting until the hubby comes home from werk to tell you...sigh~
ReplyDeleteI shed tears, as well.
ReplyDeleteHorrible. It's hard to watch.
ReplyDeleteI had to turn the TV off. I was watching 20-20 and they were talking to the teacher that moved her class to the bathroom and the tears just started. I cannot imagine going to that fire station to get my child and finding out he wasn't there, which could only mean one thing. Such a senseless tragedy. My heart aches for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteDIANNE - Cute blog!! I'd pull in there, too ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a day yesterday. Inventory, then I raced home to get changed, wrap GOLDIE'S gift, and get to the Great Dane on time for our lunch. I had no idea that there had been that shooting until GOLDIE mentioned it when we were waiting for our seats.
ReplyDeleteSo when I got home, I watched the President's news conference and turned off the tv and computer for the rest of the day. I just couldn't wrap my brain around such senseless violence :(
ReplyDeleteWaving at all my friends here. Up early on my day off. Left specific instructions for the gal that is doing books today, and called her to make sure she understood them. Ugh!!! I don't know why I did that, except for the fact that I don't want to have to clean up her bookkeeping mess on Monday!!
ReplyDeleteZONA - You must have lit that candle I asked for ;)
P.S. I gave GOLDIE a (((hug))) from you all...and invited her to start stopping back in ♥
ReplyDeleteJodi is the pretty one today.
ReplyDeleteI just called my older brother sang Happy Birthday to him with a pneumonia breathing voice (did not sound pretty), not to mention that I love to rub in the fact he is 66 yrs old as well. I am the baby sister. (next month I will be 64)
Good morning GLORIA!
