  1. Well Tina, that was an "interesting" video. I've never heard the song or seen the video before but I doubt it's on my country stations. Btw Tina, your girl, Jennifer Nettles is hosting a country christmas show on tv Thursday night. It looks like a lot of good stars.

Awake at 5:30 today. I'm going to be calling myself a morning owl soon except instill stay up,pretty late. I wanted to get up early anyway as our HOA brunch is at 11:30 and i have to use my leg machine first and then get ready.

I ordered one of my christmas presents yesterday. I want to redo the bedroom after nine years with the same curtains, comforter, etc. I'm changing it up !!! And then all I've asked for from Tammy is a pillow and for her to come over soon after Christmas and help Louis put it all together when I'm gone somewhere. Pretty easy this year. And they never know what to get. I'm anxious to see how it will change the look in here and Tammy can take this set to her spare bedroom for a new look there too.

Not much else going on this early around here. We will be anxiously watching the Bronco game after party today. Louis is still grumpy and grading end of the semester like mad.

    Talk to you all soon.

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY! :)

TINA: I like this song..the vid is strange..but the song is a good one. I could do without the big sea creature toward the end..even if it is just a cartoon..ick..

DI: Hellllo gorgeous! You ordered a Christmas present? When it gets there put it somewhere safe and then write where you put it here on the blog so you don't lose it..ok? ;D

MARY: I'm glad it's sunny there..they were saying the rain might go that way..whew!! :)

Rain rain rain yesterday. It was only kinda cloudy when we left to go shopping..but boy did it start pouring about a half hour later. I got soaked. That will sure teach me to be careful what I wish for...

I hope today is a good one for everyone. :)

  7. DIANNE - Your manicure sounds cute!! I had one done yesterday. My gal that cuts my hair has a new job at a place where she can do nails, too. Gave her a try, but I wasn't thrilled that she didn't know how to do a French style with the gel nail color. She promised she would work on that before I come back :). Way to go BRONCOS!! The Packers just won against the Bears!! We r conference champs!!

  15. Jodi, my three favorite teams won there division and that includes the Packers and the Broncos. Now JL, we need you to win your game tonight if you don't mind. It would really help us with home town advantage on playoffs. Thank you.

Tink, thinking about you. Those darn doctors can drive us crazy with their timing or lack of it.

Lynn, thinking of you today today too.

Jodi, not time for sneezes....too busy of a season.

Zona, ok I'll do that when the next gift arrives. I'm so careless, I guess. I didn't even tell Louis about my most recent loss. I'm going to have to get a job to pay for my losses.

  16. Tina...I like you selection of music/video. Different but enjoyable.

    Mary...Happy Birthday

This is a funny that I want to share. I have a 25 yr old son. I sent him to the store today to get "white tissue paper" so I could finish wrapping gifts. I told him to go to the aisle that is selling Christmas bows, etc. and he would find the tissue paper. He comes home with 2 packages of ORANGE tissue paper that you would use for a birthday present. Are all men clueless in things like that or is it just my son. My older daughter stopped and picked some up for me.

Feeling better, only I am getting stressed over "white tissue paper".

  17. Dianne, you continue to be our early bird. You stay up late and get up early. I think you are not getting enough sleep.

Mary, I hope you had a fun and profitable day for your birthday.

Zona, I hope you are dried off by now.

Jodi, I have been going to the same nail person for over 20 years. I would hate it if I had to change.

Tinka, I hope your sight is improving.

I ushered today for a play titled The Mystery of Irma Vep. It is a three act farce with two male cast members playing eight parts, both male and female. The actors were very good, sometimes having only 10 seconds to change parts and wardrobe. And it was very funny. I really love live theater.

  21. Zona I'm fried. I made over 100 Spritz cookies tonight and I am sooo worn out! I thought I was going to make some sugar cookies tonight, too, but that ain't goin' to happen. So far I've done these, a large batch of fudge, chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter/Hersey kiss cookies. I'm mailing some of each to my brother tomorrow. I think I will let this be enough. Did you and your sister bake this weekend? Are you still upright? I don't want to be but I have some cleaning up to do.

  23. Gloria Most guys don't get it. He probably couldn't find Christmas wrap stuff and figured it was better to come home with something rather than nothing.

  24. SacBarb The play sounds so fun! I really miss being able to go to live theater. When my husband was alive, we liked to go into S.F. and see plays and other live performances.

  26. Awe, Tinka stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday! Thanks.

Not slighting the rest of you lol, it was just so wonderful to see her post :)
    Praying for you Tinka!

I am taking a short break to power up my phone then taking one more spin at the $lot machines :). Jim won a nice jackpot and gave me $200! It is burning a hole in my pocket lol....later

  28. BARB - I really like the gal I found about 8 months ago, but she's been out since before Thanksgiving. She has Lupus, and I'm afraid she has had a major flare up. Giving Amy a try. Just hope she: #1 Can learn the technique that I like and #2 Gets a little faster!! Took her over 2 hours. OY!!!
