As long as I've lived in Utah, we've never had a storm like the one we had on Thursday. I didn't know what freezing rain was. I thought I did, but reality was a lot worse. Thankfully, I didn't work that day, so I wasn't out in it. Here are a couple of funny videos that I've seen from that day. I can't watch the second one without pee'ing my pants every time I see it. :D
and........
Hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!! Crying here!
ReplyDeleteTina What are friends for but to laugh and record it all? Thanks for the laugh!
JL....look a lovely you look at first. You stopped me in my tracks!!! What are you up to today?
ReplyDeleteTina....funny but I don't like to see people fall down. I sure hope its not coming this way. They are saying snow tonight. We haven't had any for a long time.
So quiet around the nest...almost makes me want to take a nap.
Bwahahahahah. Tears here too. I even watched some of the others that came up at the end. Thanks Tina.
ReplyDeleteJ/L, You are our prettiest even with crying red eyes.
Waving a wing to all the Owls. I hope you are all having a good day.
Hello Dianne. We must have been typing at the same time. I think I see a nap in my immediate future.
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Asters!
ReplyDeleteOh I have lived through freezing fog and ice and so not fun!!! We lost power for 4 days because of that mess.
From area 51: If any of you are going to the Palm Springs BABB you will get pictures of my new hair. :) Right now I am deciding whether or not to go full out gray or keep it Blonde. I get it cut tomorrow so we will see.
It took a bit to get used to but I kind of like the bright blonde.
Dianne Well, I see you finally woke up. My big events for the day were picking up stuff at the cleaners, buying some shoelaces, and getting a nail repaired. I will leave soon to meet a friend for dinner.
ReplyDeleteSacBarb When the girl was trying to get into the truck....that really made me laugh big time. Of course, hearing the stiffled laughter of the friend taking the vid made it hard not to laugh along with her.
ReplyDeleteLynnD Is it platinum?
ReplyDeleteTINA - Freakin' hilarious!! You would've laughed your butt off if you would've seen the face plant I did in the back room yesterday morning. Cracked my right knee pretty hard, but today it's just fine.
ReplyDeleteWaving a wing at everyone!! It's been a crazy busy day. Took Tim for his road test and he passed!! I then came home and did laundry and finished my packing! So excited for our trip!!
ReplyDeleteGonna pour myself a Hulamoo to settle down ;) CHEERS HOooters!!!
FROM AREA 51:
ReplyDeleteTINA - Not a Bieber pan, but I'm sure it was cute as all get out to see Alivia bebopping along!
LYNN - Thank you, and I agree. Got his email with his "position". What a freakin' joke!! I forwarded it to LOIS, and asked for her thoughts. She gave it to him with both barrels. I sent it "as is" signed....Peace to you, Jodi. Still haven't heard back from that one. He can just sit and spin for all I care!!!
BARB - Your trip to Australia and New Zealand sounds fabulous!!
MARY - Glad the rice worked!
SLIN - Wish I could go back in time to see Elvis. He was pretty hot in his day ;)
DIANNE - I never even turned the Pro Bowl on. Fell asleep early icing my knee :(
Jodi, so glad your knee I okay. Th timing is not a good time for you to get hurt. That falling is so dangerous and scary. I'm so glad you are okay. Congrats to Tim for passing his drivers test.
ReplyDeleteJL, I was already up and home from my lunch with my niece when I posted.....I'll have you know. I had alarm set for 10:30 today.
Lynn, I think bright blond sounds very nice. I won't be at the BBQ but hopefully someone will send a picture.
Barb, it's snowing here tonight. We are supposed to get two inches. It's very light snow right now. Did you get that nap in today? None for me today. I was getting ready for pt when they called and told me I had the time mixed up. Making up today on Wednesday and then Friday and I'll be done. I have mixed emotions about being done ith it. I just have to keep up the moving at home and the bike too.
Well, guess I'll watch the news now.
JL, are you getting excited for the Super Bowl outcome?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the usual night owls? I'm done with the news, Leno and all my computer games. I guess I'll either read or sleep...probably sleep as I have to get up by ten tomorrow. E a r l y
ReplyDeleteDang....woke up by a thunderstorm. In January....WTC!!!
ReplyDeleteDIANNE - Thanks! Tim is kinda handy to have around. He picked up my car after school and went to Farm n' Fleet to pick up oil and a filter (applied for a job, too!!!) and changed my oil at his Skills USA class last night. Pretty proud of my boy :)
ReplyDeleteJodi, we had rain on Saturday night ...smelled like Spring and now snow tonight. This weather is crazy.
ReplyDeleteDIANNE - I know. We are suppose to have a high of 57* today, then back to single digit temps by the end of the week. *Doing a happy dance that I'll miss that, tho ;)*
ReplyDeleteDianne I'm afraid I haven't given the game much thought. I'm too busy trying to get other things done right now. You may have to do double duty and swing those tassels extra hard.
ReplyDeleteHOdi Congrats to Tim for passing his driving test. Take advantage of his enthusiasm for driving to get him to run errands for you. Eventually, it stops being fun.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you didn't do real bad harm to your knee! Yikes!
SLIN - Thank you, and I know! I seriously thought I would've had a huge bruise from that fall, but it's just slightly tender to the touch today (yay!!!)
ReplyDeleteStill up night night for sure now
