Before taking me to the airport last week, we picked up Vicki's grandchildren. The kids wanted to hear some music. Alivia liked Justin Bieber. I just happened to have this song on my phone so I played it for them. It was so cute to hear a little 5 year old singing this song. She knew most of the words. Also, a friend of mine at work bought 2 of her daughters tickets to his concert along with backstage passes and a meet & greet......FOR $600 a kid!!!!! It just blew me away!!! So I asked for the same for Bon Jovi......couldn't hurt to ask~
Morning Glories!
ReplyDeleteSorry did not watch the video. Just not a Beaver fan. $600.00 dollars for tickets and back stage passes. Yikes!
From area 51: Jodi good for you!! Your brother either needs to grow up or see a therapist to deal with his issues. Maybe both.
Mary hope your phone is dried out!
Barb I love the beach when it is rainy and foggy. Sounds like you had a great time anyway!
Dianne LOL, sorry but I think we have all been there. :)
Waving a wing!
LynnD Good morning! You look mah-velous in first today. Hey, when are we going to see a pick of the new, blonder your? Hope you are having a good day. What's Richard's weather report?
ReplyDeleteTina Thanks for the vid. I watched it until Nicki came on. Justin is a cute enough kid but don't care for Nicki at all. $600 for tickets and backstage meet and greet...hmmm. I paid over $300 to see the Stones so I guess I would pay $600 for a backstage meet and greet with them but they are rock legends. Now, if I was still a young girl in the days when Elvis was big, I would have LOVED to have a chance to see him live and meet him backstage. I'm sure your friends' kids are besides themselves with excitement.
ReplyDeleteLynn, you are our lovely early bird today. I love the beach in any weather and we had a great time walking in the rain. It was only a sprinkle really. It made it easier to walk on the sand, too.
ReplyDeleteJ/L, Hawaii is getting closer. Don't you leave on Wednesday? Wish I was going. I really love Hawaii. Are you spending the whole week in Oahu? That is the Island where I have spent the least amount of time.
Leaving in a few to meet Sharon. We have tickets to see Rock of Ages. This is one we haven't seen before and don't know too much about it. Will give a review when I get home.
Have a great day everyone.
SacBarb Yes, my daughter and I will spend the entire week in Oahu. She's never been to that island before.
ReplyDeleteI put my phone in a bag of rice overnight and it is working perfect!
ReplyDeleteLynn D,how cute you are on your branch today!
Tina, I like the Beeb, but I can't see a pic or vid of him without thinking he still only has peach fuzz on his cahones lol!
Dianne, Minnie Pearl would have been so proud of you lol!!
Barb, I wish you were coming with us too, but then, you are going to Australia with me :(
JustLin, I guess we all have our favorite singers we would pay big bucks to see. I paid $350 to get a good seat to see Paul McCartney in Vegas. I would have paid more to have met him :)
oops, Barb.. you are going WITHOUT me LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteMary I would pay lots more than $600 for tickets and meet and greet with Eric Clapton. Oh, yeah.
ReplyDeleteFor a minute there, I was getting jealous that you were going with Barb to Australia. LOL
Well, I can tell you Rock of Ages was LOUD! We had planned to see the movie before the stage show, but that didn't happen before it left the theaters. We both liked it, but agreed that we probably wouldn't pay to see it again. I do have a headache now and I am sure it's cause is the decibel level of the music.
ReplyDeleteSacBarb I saw the movie and it was okay but I wouldn't be interested in seeing it again, either.
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone. .....well, the pro bowl is boring and I've only watched about 45 min of it. The score is ridiculous and the Bronco coach is coaching the losing team...not good. I've been sleeping the majority of the day. Lazy (as usual) Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBarb, when Rock Of Ages came her I gave my ticket to my daughter. I knew I wouldn't like all that loud music. I'm just getting old. When do you go to Australia? Now that sounds like fun!!
Mary, so glad your phone is working. You lucked out on that one. I was wondering too why you get to go on barbs trip and I didn't? Don't be causing a ruckus!!!
JL, I don't think I'd pay $600 to see any one although, I'd really like to see Barbra Streisand. I think for $600 shed have to take me to dinner and sing to me.
Tina, thanks for the blog. I do enjoy watching how excited these young kids get ....kind of how we used to do in the old days. PS. Please keep that mess of snow you have away from me.
Lynn, congrats at first today. I too would lve to see that new blond hair. Are you liking it? Sooooo, do blondes have more fun or not?
Dianne, Sharon and I are starting to plan a trip to Australia and New Zealand in late Sept. or early October. We are going to stay three or four weeks. We are using our air miles that we each get with our credit cards and flying first class and Sharon is providing the lodging with her time-share.
ReplyDeleteMary, I'm sure you can go to Australia, however we only have one bedroom so you would have to make your own arrangements for lodging.
I can sleep on the foot of your bed
ReplyDeleteSacBarb That's great that you have enough miles to go first class. That will be a Godsend on such a long flight.
