This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
All I could think, watching this was " I used to be able to wear tight white pants like that!" LOL!!!
Not much happening here today. I went to church, took a nap,Hubby had ordered a pizza so I didn't cook, and spent some time outside watering plants and walking the dog. Tomorrow mu Jeep is getting picked up by a guy who is going to detail it. It needs it bad! I am so glad he is picking it up so I don't have to drop it off and have someone pick me up and drop me off! Have a great week everyone!!
Jodi, just checked area 51, yes Jim got back. Kind of late. Seems the guys found an ice cream place on the way out, and an outdoor beer joint on the way back lol!! He seemed really excited about riding except for his aching crotch lol! I am going to Lansing tomorrow to see if I can find him one like mine before he steals it like he keeps threatening too!! Mine is well padded and he loves it.
BARB - Just my opinion, but he was the BEST to come out of NSYNC!! He is truly a triple threat. Singing, dancing, and acting! I especially love his comic skill. Always a "hoot" when he is on SNL!!
Waiting to hear from a classmate of mine. She flew into town for her Grandma's 90th b'day last Saturday. It will be good to see Valerie. Her Mom and mine went to school together, so I've literally known her my whole life.
Jodi, I agree about JT. I really like him. I loved his SNL appearance.
Mary, Good to know Jim loves your padded crotch. I didn't know they were for sale. Maybe I should look into getting one. ;)
Dianne, yes I know all the songs and since it was a sold out house, some the ushers were relegated to the Subscribers Lounge where they have a TV monitor showing what's happening on stage. Not the best way to watch a "live" show, but most of us were singing along. We certainly wouldn't be able to do that in the theater.
Barb, I would have been right there singing my lungs out lol!
Dianne, Jim is almost 70! I have no intentions of kissing those wrinkly hanging whatchamacallits!!! tyvm!
Jodi, I grew up in a small town where everybody knew everyone, no doors locked and we "roamed" the neighbor hood freely just being kids. We knew all of each others parents. Sadly most are gone now, but it is so fun to run into neighborhood pals here on FB and connect again. My dentist who is now retired was a couple of grades ahead of me in school, one is a preacher and more living close by. All from my old home town 60 miles north of here. I would not have connected otherwise.
Time to throw the chicken in the oven. Dinner will be late tonight. Nice being retired :)
Ummm Jodi, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about........skipping all these showers!!! Nothing personal but could you fly over to the bird bath and dunk for a few? Thanks from all of us. (Remember not personal). :)
Waving a wing to Tina, Dianne, Jodi, Mary, J/L (if you're reading), and all the other Owls who may be checking up on us.
I am ushering again for Oz tonight. Maybe I'll be able to get a seat inside the theater tonight. Fingers crossed.
Have a good day. I am off to take care of some errands. It rained all day yesterday and rain is expected today, too. I am hoping to be able to run between the drops.
Jodi, we are getting your storms now. It was worse by the lake. Lots of power outages. I think they tend to die out by the time they get to us...whew! Dogsters get antsy!!
Just doing mundane things today. It is Jim's Casino day so it is quiet :)
LOL @ Dianne. I was thinking the same thing. I would be pretty rank with no shower !
Hi...I've been splashing in the bird bath...it's pretty fun. I was hoping some others would fly by and join me ..would be a great way to get acquainted (kind of like a hot tub).
Went to dinner with my almost ex son in law tonight. I miss him so much.
Barb, did u sing again tonight? La la la over the rainbow.
Still wishing for some of that rain from Jodi and Mary.
Dianne, No I couldn't sing because I got a seat inside. It's so much better seeing it 'live' instead of on a TV monitor right next door. I love live theater no matter how many times I may see the same show. There is always some differences with each different cast. This is my 44th year ushering for the Music Circus in Sac.
Barb, wow that's a lot of years for a youngster like you. You must have been only a child when you started. I'm glad you didn't sing and get thrown out. Our bail fund is low
Hello Hooters.
ReplyDeleteI have not heard this song before, but I like it. JT sure has come a long way from INSYNC (sp?) and Brittney.
I am off to usher for Wizard of Oz. Our summer musical theater starts today and I usually usher only on Tuesday night, but they added a matinée for today and needed help, so off I go. BBL
TINA - Love me some JT!!
ReplyDeleteBARB - Hope the kids aren't too out of control at the show!! BTW....u look marvelous today :)
ReplyDeleteHeading to the races with my son Tim and a couple of his buddies. Should be a fun night. if the weather holds out!
ReplyDeleteJodi, hope you have good weather and lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteBarb, can you sing all the songs to WOZ? That's what I'd be doing. Theyd probably throw me out.
Went to Olive Garden and had soup, and salad for lunch. That's about my day ...so exciting.
Tina, I've never heard that song before either but I don't think they play it on country music stations!! Lol
Like the vid when JT showed up :)

ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm still up. I'll be sorry.
ReplyDeleteJodi, you must be off today...no coffee or glazers
The races were fun!! And the best part was that I had someone to drive me home. So I had a few beers. Boy were they going down good!!
ReplyDeleteDIANNE - I'd be singing, too!! We could get thrown out together ;)
ReplyDeleteMARY - Love a fresh detailed car!! And how nice that it is getting picked up :)
ReplyDeleteYou are right DIANNE!! It is my day off. So nice to sleep in til 6:15!!

Lunch was great!! I'm now sitting at Jake's game. He got a triple and the first run of the game. Can I get a woot woot?
ReplyDeleteWOOT WOOT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks MARY! Just got home. They lost their first game tonight, but it was a close one. 5-4.
ReplyDeleteTurning on hockey now. GO BLACKHAWKS!!!
Stayed up late watching the game. Paying for it now, but worth it!! Blackhawks r Stanley Cup Champs!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I won't b getting my shower again this morning. It's been storming and raining like crazy since before midnight. ENOUGH ALREADY!!
ReplyDeleteI just checked. We've had over 6" of rain this month alone!!
ReplyDelete25!!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm Jodi, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about........skipping all these showers!!! Nothing personal but could you fly over to the bird bath and dunk for a few? Thanks from all of us. (Remember not personal). :)
