  2. Hi Dianne! My day was pretty full! A few of us drove to where I will be DJing for a 50th class reunion, then we went to lunch.
I barley got home and my girlfriend called and asked me to help move stuff for her. She just had a huge garage built. Part of it will be used for her sewing/quilting projects. I swear she is sooooo close to being a hoarder! Sewing machines up the ars, huge quilting machine, thread enough to wrap around the world 100 times! Storage units full of books and magazines about sewing! also a couple of cutting tables. enough scissors to make 100 Edward Scissor Hand hands lol! My legs & back are soar! We carried 3 units full of more stuff. So heavy we had to take apart and put back together! Her hubby would help 'cept he is up north with my hubby!
I came home, fed, watered and walked the dogs, bathed Zoie and made a huge batch of beef fried rice,,,,scooooze me while I pass out lol!!!

  3. Hey Hooters.

Dianne, Where do you go eat that they let you stay for three hours? Do you leave a big tip for the waiter/waitress?

Mary, you are going to wear yourself out. Why couldn't your friend wait til her Hubby came home? When you were describing how much stuff she has, I was thinking that I have about as much scrapbook/card making stuff, but nevermind....

J/L, I suppose you are in the air somewhere between here and London. Have a great time when you get there and keep in touch.

  4. Barb, I always have long lunches. I usually go,about 12:30 so the crowd in thinning out and some places we gotten to know the waitress. On Wednesday, after WW, we always go from 12:30-4:30 and then I head back to my side of town. Yes, we tip decently. The waitress usually leaves before us so we get that taken care of right away. Once one gal came back for second shift and my friend and I were still there. Soooo, be prepared for a long lunch we if ever get to visit.

Mary, I agree with Barb, she should have waited for her husband. Be careful. I imagine you were pooped.

Jodi, where are you today? Must have done something fun.

  11. Waving a wing from break!! Glazers for everyone :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Did some one say "glaziers?".
Jodi, you need to "splain "crazy costumers". Is it like being at Wal Mart? LOL!!

Barb,My girlfriend's hubby is not a very good helper. Grumbles and complains and not much help, so we decided to get as much done before he got back. We rushed because the clouds were looking like they were ready to dump rain, which is what happened 3 hrs into our work. I was never so glad to see rain lol!!! Actually all that was left was stuff she had to do alone, like sort, file, toss junk and give to Goodwill.

Dianne, long lunches sound like fun, but like Jodi said, a designated driver would be a must ha ha!

  13. MARY - Very much like Wal-Mart!! lol!!! The first person thru our door today (5am) was a Dane County Sheriff. He said he had gotten a call saying someone was on our roof. WTF!!! We looked, and there was no one up there. Maybe at one of the other stores (there r 3 in Oregon). That's the kind of crazy shit that has happened all week. Soooo glad I have the weekend off.

  18. Barb, maybe u will come to Denver sometime and we could do a long lunch.

I went to the nicest jewlery repair place today. I wanted to have some links put in my new watches and have been to this place before but they are outside and their flight of stairs are overwhelming. I called ahead to see if there was an elevator or something and he said just to call him when I arrived. He came down to my car and picked up the watches, took the one I was wearing to measure and was back in 20 min for 20 bucks I was so grateful as last time I was really scared coming down those stairs. What a nice man.

Jodi, thank you for noticing my beauty yesterday as my hair was combed and everything...even a shower. Glad you have the weekend off..any plans?

Mary, maybe you should have separate beds...not the worst idea. Hopefully, he will be bringing lots of winnings home.

Having dinner with a couple of good friends tonight. I don't do dinners much but these are my theater friends and I haven't seen them for awhile.

Tomorrow night I'll be getting together with Tim ...you know...Tim McGraw. I think he'll be singing to me

  19. Dianne, your getting to be quite the social butterfly! My thrill for today was picking up a pizza for dinner lol!

Jim should be home late tonight. Too late to chain saw the bed in half to make twin beds!

  20. DIANNE - Catching up on my "bitch work" tomorrow and going to the horse pull Sunday morning with my FIL for Father's Day. They are having a rodeo after, so we might stick around for that :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. MARY - Enjoy the movie!! I hope u have plenty of popcorn :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dianne, Of course Tim will be singing to you and only you. He puts on such a great show, doesn't he? Faith was with him when I saw him in Sac and they did a record number of encores. At least that's what the review said the next day.

    Mary, that week went fast!

Jodi, Great talking with you today.

J/L, In case you are reading this, I hope you are having a great time in London. Did you visit the Queen?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Barb, I'm glad he won't have Faith with him so I can have all to myself. I don't share men well. It's just a thing about me.

JL, I hope you're having lots of fun too.. Wish we were all with you.

Jodi, sounds like you will be busy.

Dang Mary, maybe you can work on the bed tomorrow. I have to tell you about the comfort level it could bring you. You can visit for sex!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dianne, "sex?" what's that? lol! Oh yah, it's the thing you WISH you could do with Tim ;-)

Geesh, I forgot how naughty HBO was! I have seen more booty thin I care to see lol!!

  26. DIANNE - Kind of took it easy this morning. I don't always get to do that in a quiet house! Have fun on your "date" with Tim! He's playing in Peru, Illinois on July 6th. Trying to figure out a way to get the time off to go. A friend of Uncle Kenny's in sponsoring the show!!

  28. Happy Saturday Hooters.

Sharon and I saw Star Trek today and I really liked it. Very good special effects and the new Kirk is pretty cute with amazing blue eyes. Must be colored contacts.

I hope everyone is having a good day. It's a sunny 85 degrees here today.

  31. Sigh I'm just waking up and sending Tim on his way before Louis wakes up. It was a marvelous night.

Brantley Gilbert was on before Tim and I didn't care for him at all. He was too much rock for me. Other than that, it was a beautiful night to be sitting outside listening to my sweetie with my daughter and friends. I love an outside evening concert.

Jodi, if you can go to the show ...go. Fun!!!

Louis went to see that Superman show too last night and loved it. He saw Star Trek a few weeks ago Barb, and thought it was their best one yet. I'm not fond of those movies. I might be able to be talked into seeing that new Brad Pitt on coming out. It looks pretty exciting

Mary, your sex life sounds about as busy as mine. Lol.

Hope you all have a good day. We are headed to Greeley about an hour away for a Fathers Day BBQ at my uncles.

Kayla is at cheerleading camp this weekend and they had competition and won first and two other trophies. It was their first time so very exciting for her

    ReplyDelete
  32. Just got home from the horse pull. We didn't stick around for the rodeo. It doesn't start til 4 and Jake had to b back for his first Sunday of Football camp.

Congrats to Kayla and her team mates!!
Made Jim a big breakfast, now waiting for that to settle so I can slap some steaks on the grill lol!
    Have a great day Hooters!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. MARY - The steaks sound great!! After dropping Jake off at football camp, I stopped at the store and picked up a rotisserie chicken and a couple of salads. That's cooking, right DIANNE?

  39. This is the second day in a row that I posted a comment and it disappeared. Is Blogger trying to tell me something? It was early in the day and I can't even remember what I said, so I will just wish everyone a happy end to the weekend and hope this comment sticks! Sweet dreams.
