We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

We just got back from our first Lent Fish dinner at the American Legion. It is a very popular dinner. We usually have to stand a long time outside in line. We got there early today and didn't wait too long.
Time to get to the basement to work out. I am determined to exercise every day for at least a few minutes. I have been way too lazy!
Hi Everyone....been a busy week for some reason. We had a nice overnight mountain get away. The weather was perfect. We had a nice little cabin. After dinner, we spent the evening going through all the excursions for our cruise and deciding which ones we wanted to do. It was fun doing it together. We browsed the Coach store going up and I found a purse I couldn't live with out. It's a great deal at the outlet store. Louis ended up getting a wallet and tried to throw it in on my credit card.....not!!! We ended up stopping there again on the way home as Louis told my daughter he would get her a purse. How sweet. It as her divorce day and sh was feeling kind of sad. I refrained from getting another one lol.
Going to a St Patricks party tomorrow. It's supposed to snow but I hope not as we are going about an hour or so away. It was 70 today.

Glad to see Lynn is coming in June. Will be fun to see her again too.
Mary...how's that weather? Looked like more snow for you on the news tonight. So after your winter you don't think an Alaskan cruise would be fun? Well, there won't be any snow there. I just am not crazy to go where it's hot.

Jody, did you have a fun birthday week ? It sounds like you were pretty busy.
JL..you can be lazy, you are semi-retired. I'm lazy all the time. I did take time to get that color back in my hair today.
Today I worked at our VFW Ladies Aux. steak dinner. I usually stick around late to help clean up, but after being there 5 hrs, my feet were killing me! It was a sunny kind of warm/cool day, but at least the roads were clear and no SNOW!! It seems to have gone south of us yay!!
I got my final travel documents for my trip in the mail today. It sure was fun looking through them! I can't wait!
Dianne, we didn't do St Pats party tonight after the dinner. I guess I am getting to old for it lol!!
JL, I try to get in at least 3 or 4 days a week ( exercise). I need to keep my knee limber and of course my fat in check ha ha! I know I will never be skinny, just trying to keep from getting fatter :(
Jodi, yes, walking outside, and with no coat would be wonderful!!
Mary Nothing much happening here. I had lunch with a friend. Tonight my Idaho guy and I called it quits (again) so I'm feeling kind of down about that. At age 66, I don't think there is another love in the future for me.
JL...u and Idaho have called it quits more times than I've been married!!! Why do you keep doing that when you have fun together? Just take it for what it is a fun relationship. And there is my unasked for advice.
I never used to take naps until recently but do almost every day now...late in the day. I do think I'm too tired but I get a lot of sleep. I'm going to have my Cpap setting checked as maybe it needs to be turned up or something
DIANNE - I worked today. I also took a nap. I'm logged in right now to watch The Sunway Show #3 on Livestream. So fun!! I have bowling tomorrow night, so I'm sure I'll have a green beer, or 2!
SLIN - Sorry about your breakup. It must be challenging to have such distance. Quit frankly, any man would be lucky to have you in your life. Love u pretty lady!!
Today is Todd's 40th birthday and we went to Coronado. Growing up in LA and visiting Todd in San Diego multiple times and this is the first time I've been there. We had a nice breakfast at the hotel del Coronado buffet and walked along the beach. Saw a really cool sand castle that I'm going to try to post on FB.

Hey HOoters. I landed in Sac about 10:30 and had a text waiting on my phone from Chad. He wanted me to know he was OK because the copter that crashed in Seattle was VERY close to the Space Needle where he works. I am so glad I hadn't heard about the crash before I got on the plane because I would have been freaked out for the whole flight.
I had a great time in SD and Todd loved his scrapbook. I am so happy. Now it's back to whatever normal is and cleaning up all the scrap crap! Have a good day everyone.

I have an 8:30 dr appt tomorrow. It was the only one available and much too early for me. I have a cough, raspy voice and sore throat for two weeks so decided to get it checked. I thought it would go away but my voice keeps getting worse. Seems like I have drs all week this week.
DIANNE - How fun to have lunch with BARB G!! I ccan't wait to meet her. Yes, I got a nap in yesterday. I will be taking one today, too. Working this morning 4 - noon. And again tonight from 6-11 at our new store in Cross Plains. My boss asked if I would go with him. We are loading their store for their grand opening. Bonus = having Thursday off!!
Hi, HOoters! Well, the new roof is on and some of the new gutter. The rest to be done tomorrow. Also, in the morning I have to go to the city building department and see what I have to pay for a building permit because of the new front porch. I'm not a happy camper about that. I didn't do too much today because I had to stick around since the garage was open so workers could use electrical outlet. I did manage to go to gross-ry store to pick up food for the food drive we are doing at Curves and then exercised at Curves. That about wraps it up for today. Hope you all had more interesting things going on than I did.
My day was thrilling JL....went to dr at 8:30 and got weighed and received antibiotics. Did some errands and then went to ww and got weighed again. Took my friend to lunch for her bday (that part was fun) got gas and dinner for Louis, came home and took a nap. I have a sleep study set up for the end of the month.
Tomorrow I HAVE to work on cleaning my office and getting tax things together for next week. Another exciting day!!
Dianne, did you weigh the same at WW as you did at the Dr? I have had a few appointments at Kaiser and Jenny Craig on the same day and both scales weighed a different weight. It always made me laugh.
Getting all my running done this afternoon. Wal-Mart, car wash, Jake's eye Dr appt, then we have his student led conference tonight. So much for having a day off ;-)

Happy almost St Pats Day. We celebrated today. It was supposed to snow but the sun was out all day with some wind. Yippee it was a nice day.
No nap today and now I'm sleepy. Funny what you start getting used to.

I should bowl 3 sheets to the wind all the time. Got a turkey in my last game and ended with a season high 170 game. Wheee!!!

Jodi, Conference with teacher and student? That's a great idea. I always thought the students should be involved when my kids were in school.
