  2. What are you HOoters doing today? I slept in til the other bookkeeper called me this morning. Sam and I went shopping. She got a part time job at Noodles and Co. and needed some new pants for both her jobs. Tim is at work and Jake is having a behind the wheel session. I'm having a hankering for Maria's Pizza's spaghetti and meatballs. I think we might go there for dinner when Jake gets home.

  3. What happened to yesterday's blog or am I going crazy?

This is the first time I've heard this song...very strange video. I'll stick with country.

Jodi, your dinner sounds good. I went to brunch to a new place with a friend today. The weather is beautiful again today. Louis took my car in to be detailed...nice. He's gone shooting now and I took a nap and am going to do a few things around here.

  4. DIANNE - The only other blog I had seen was from Thursday. Dinner was delicious! It's been a cold dreary weekend here, but looking to get into the 50's this week!

  6. Hi, HOoters! I liked the song and the vid is fine with me. I thought the craziest part was a horse and deer(?) standing around in the house. Otherwise, I think the other stuff is stuff you'd feel like doing when finding out your boyfriend or husband was cheating on you. You may not really doing it, but you'd feel like lashing out. Oh, yeah. Lungren did take a golf club to Tiger's car.

    Tina Thanks for the vid.

  7. HOdi I was having a craving for spaghetti and meatballs last week so I ordered some from a local pizza/pasta place and I was disappointed. The meatballs were dry and the spaghetti mushy. I've had it there once before and it was good so I'm not sure what was going on the other night. It was a bummer, though. I hope you enjoy yours more than I did.

  9. Just got back from the surgeon's office and he seems to think that it might be something going on with Jake's back. And he's not a back Dr. So, I just booked an appt with one of the primary care physicians at our clinic. OY!!!

  10. Jodi, I hope there isn't anything too serious wrong with Jake's back. Could this be a result of his wrestling?

  11. I went to the doc again on riday and whined about the pain in my leg, and he ordered an MRI for Saturday. He should have the results tomorrow or Wednesday and he will give me options, the most serious of which is surgery! I am definitely in my "rust" years!

  13. Something is wrong with the audio on my computer so I couldn't listen to the song. Sorry Tina, but thanks for posting it!

  14. HOdi I'm sorry to hear about Jake's situation. I hope you get some good options from the doctor. How's Jake feeling about all this?

  15. Barb I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Once you're feeling better, maybe I will come up for those meatballs and spaghetti.

  16. BARB - No, it happened when he was lifting weights and squatting. Someone was trying to help him with his form and I think he moved wrong.

  17. SLIN - I think he is more frustrated than anything. If we can't resolve the drop foot he can't play any sport that would involve running. The good news is that he will still be able to wrestle. And that truly is his goal.

  18. Hi....Jodi, I'm sorry to hear about Jake. I hope they get that figured out. It's frustrating when you are any age but especially so young. Is it affecting his walk?

Barb, have you gotten your results yet? I hope they can also take good care of you and make you feel, better. These "rust" years are sure a nuisance sometimes, aren't they?

I had a dr today and then financial meeting. All this retirement and not working this summer is making Louis very happy and cautious me--nervous.

I'm going to look nch with Barb..Co next week for her birthday. Haven't seen her for awhile.

Mary, you must be busy causing trouble somewhere. What are you up too?

JL, I love spaghetti snd meat balls. It's one of my favorite meals. When you come visit .....someday. We have a pretty good place to go. Olive Garden..just kidding...April Fools....seriously, a good Italian place.

It is as 80 again today but snow predicted for Thursday and Friday. The weather has been teasing us, the flowers and trees into thinking its Spring.

    Night...

  19. DIANNE - He kinda has to pick up his foot like a horse. LOL!!! Hopefully we will find a fix for my boy!

  20. I got the results of the MRI today and it is just as the doc thought. One of the vertebrae is pushed back a little and pushing on the nerve causing the constant pain in my left leg. So I have an appointment with the specialist Thursday to discuss my options. This is going to be a long process, I feel!

I hope you all have exciting plans for Easter. My family is going out to brunch. At this point, I'm not sure I will go, unless I have a miraculous recovery. I'm not comfortable sitting in a chair, because no chair hits me right at my leg and it makes it worse. So I'm pretty much a cranky pants and I shouldn't subject the family to that! Maybe one of them will bring me some food! It's good to feed a cranky pants!
