The pastor asked if anyone in the congregation would like to express praise for answered prayers.
Suzie Smith stood and walked to the podium. She said, "I have a praise. Two months ago, my husband, Tom, had a terrible bicycle wreck and his scrotum was completely crushed. The pain was excruciating and the doctors didn't know if they could help him."
You could hear a muffled gasp from the men in the congregation as they imagine the pain that poor Tom must have experienced. "Tom was unable to hold me or the children, "she went on, "and every move caused him terrible pain.
"We prayed as the doctors performed a delicate operation, and it turned out they were able to piece together the crushed remnants of Tom's scrotum, and wrap wire around it to hold it in place."
Again, the men in the congregation cringed and squirmed uncomfortably as they imagined the horrible surgery performed on Tom.
"Now," she announced in a quivering voice, "thank the Lord, Tom is out of the hospital and the doctors say that with time, his scrotum should recover completely."
All the men sighed with unified relief. The pastor rose and tentatively asked if anyone else had something to say. A man stood up and walked slowly to the podium.
He said, "I'm Tom Smith." The entire congregation held its breath.
I just want to tell my wife the word is sternum.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteDianne,You sure have a busy schedule coming up! Jim just picked up our finished taxes yesterday. I was not aware that vehicles had to go through probate too. Seems like if the spouse passed away things not in will would automatically go to the living spouse.
I talk to Jim about all these things incl. Our funeral and burial spots. He just does nothing about it! I think he thinks he will either live forever, or somehow he will be able to "take it all" with him lol! He never discusses any of his finances with me. He has always been that way. I am pretty sure most of his assets have his 2 sons as his beneficiaries. I know the house will be mine since I had him put my name on the lease, after 35 yrs! That and his General motors life ins. which makes you put your spouse on the contract. He has 2 bank accounts without my name on them. I have a feeling it is going to be a mess if he passes before me!
Oh well, like the song goes, " I got along without you before I met you, etc" LOL!
btw, I am still congested, but otherwise feeling fine, which reminds me, I need to stock up on Kleenex today!
JustL, thanks for that app! It is nice to see what others are seeing in their world.
It is so sad to see what is going on in the Ukraine. Putin is stirring up a hornet's nest! I feel so sad for the people!
Barb, hoping all is well with you. It is cold and miserable here in Mich. I know spring is not far away, so hanging on to that thought! We had another round of rain and the garage flooded again, but did not enter the house. All the water has now frozen in our back yard. We get a lot of run-off from the neighbors property. Thankfully it is behind the garage and away from the house. It flows down to the creek and winds up on the Grand River.
Waving at Bebbi & Seaside~~~~~
Mary Maybe you need to take charge and announce to him that the two of you are going to his bank and adding your name to his accounts, end of story. He doesn't like it? You can stop cooking for him. You've been taking care of him for a long time. It's time for him to make sure he takes care of you. That's my opinion, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better today and that your congestion is cleared up. My allergies have been acting up lately, too.
I sure wish I could take some of that rain from you and sprinkle it here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We sure could use it.
Barb Did you see that as of yesterday, Maksim of DWTS is stuck in Ukraine? Yikes! Didn't see anything posted from him today so maybe he was able to get out. At least he has a passport which is not true for all Ukrainians.
ReplyDeleteWednesday was the 2nd anniversary of my friend Jane's husband's passing. We went down to Redwood City to meet another friend for lunch at Harry's Hofbrau for late lunch. So I'm driving down the 280 freeway, doing about 72, when I notice brake lights come on on the truck ahead of me. A split second later I realize that he is not just slowing but is actually breaking pretty hard and I am coming up on him pretty fast. I am on my brakes when he suddenly swerves left and there in the middle of our lane is a steel wheel barrow. I had to swerve to the right into the next lane to barely miss hitting it. Fortunately, I had gauged where all other traffic was as soon as I had seen the truck's brake lights light up. This could have been a really bad situation. As we continued on to the restaurant, Jane got on the phone and alerted the CHP of the danger. They had already gotten one other call about it at that point.
Dianne Well, That's great news you shared via text regarding Louis. You must both be so relieved. I imagine both or your spirits are lifted, too.
ReplyDeleteThat's smart to have both names on the cars and it will be handy to be able to have the disability plates for both cars.
I'm walking around the house wearing a sweater because it seems I am always cold. Then I read the posts from you and Mary and realize it's downright balmy here in comparison to your temps. LOL I try not to blast the heater too much. In the evening when sitting on the sofa to watch TV, I have a throw blanket across my legs. It's almost like I've become an old lady or something. LOL
JLinn, you cracked me up @ " It's almost like I've become an old lady or something."
ReplyDeleteI think we are all a bit in denial lol! Last month's elec. bill was about $600! It has been a cold winter! Of course, our entire house is on electric., so that makes a diff.
I read that Maksim has chosen not to leave the Ukrain. He feels bad because he is able to leave and others aren't. He needs to remember he has family here that need him.
It's so sad to see the people hiding in the old subways with children and pets :(
Hi…well, louis is doing pretty darn good since we got rid of catheter.. he slept in his bed last night and he weighed and has now lost 71 pounds. He will drive to pt on his own tmrw. Two of my friends..barb and barb brought lunch and came over. Nice visit. I think I can get out some this week. I’ve been home for two weeks! My record for awhile…,r weather is supposed to go up to 70 this week and then snow all weekend. I’m so tired of it! I’m ready for spring but at least the clocks change soon. JL hope you are feeling better with your allergies.
ReplyDeleteMary, I have to agree with JL on this bank info. too. You’ve been married a long time. Just my second opinion. Yes, I’m glad to get the car deal done. We had our taxes done and we owe $182 to the feds. We were surprised as we thought we’d get a refund. We itemize with our medical expenses. We had $17,000 out of pocket not counting premiums paid. No wonder we r so poor! If we were going on our Galveston trip we would be leaving tmrw. If we wouldn’t have had the complications we both think we could have gone but since we were in limbo it just wouldn’t of worked. It’s just as well we canceled. We go to the mountains March 17 and 18 for a couple of days and then Kansas April 10th. Mary hope you feel better now
Barb, how are sister things working out? What have you been doing? I think I asked u a couple of questions last on previous blog.
Time to nudge Bev and seaside. Bev are you home now? Today was a thrilling day.went for a drink for me, did a drive through Girl Scout cookie run, Starbucks and car wash. Car line was very long but my car was filthy now it will be clean until Friday snow.
Hey dear ones ๐
ReplyDeleteI got my sweet little nudge and wanted to get here yesterday but it just wasn't going to happen. BUT I'm here.
Dianne All the times you and Louis have gone thru I'm so happy it has gotten better and ya all are getting around again. That stupid bag!!! Sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip but you know what's best and not going was probably a good idea. Mountain trip coming up though and I know you'll enjoy that.
JL I too saw Maxim in Croatia and my heart just sinks for him, as well as all those trying to survive this awful time. I hope something happens to end this poop, we sure don't need to see another world war. We live so close to each other really but hearing you say you're cold just makes me jealous!! My side of the bay (inland) is so warm/hot alllllllllll the time. I'm so sick of the sun. Every dang week they say we'll have rain by the end of the week and we get none. Last week we finally did get a cooler day and it sprinkled for about two minutes. Didn't even cover the ground. I really miss my winter and especially the RAIN!! Every year there's less and less, makes me sad.
Mary I'm voting with the others. Everything should be in your name too. I mean geeeeeze come on now, ya all are in this together right?? Get the ole poop off his bunnies and just go do it ๐ I wish I could see your babies playing in the snow. I bet it's fun to watch them. I wonder what Gidget would do? I remember a few years back (I'm thinking 5-8 years ago) when we actually had a winter, it was a cold day and we got a little hail. LMAO just thinking about it. She wanted to eat the tiny ice cubes but didn't want to stand in it. Lordy I wish we could get some weather like that again. I hope you're feeling better!
Barb Have you gotten any rain? Probably huh. How is your sister doing, I've been thinking about her and hope things are good. I miss seeing pictures of your babies....you have three right? Kitties are so wonderful. I miss mine so so much. But Gidget keeps me going and she IS my cuddle baby for sure.
Bebbi Are you still having a blast in Florida? I loved seeing your pictures, especially in the pool! What fun.....what all did you do while you were (are) there? Hope it was all good and safe travels going home.
Not much exciting here. I really haven't felt good good since before I got sick around Thanksgiving time. Not sure what my problem is, I keep going anyway and make my Munchkin upset cause I always over do it. BUT I can't sit still. He's doing great and just my blessing, I am so lucky for him. Not to mention my baby Gidget and she is doing good too LOL! Ok....I got just a bit more to do out on my patio and then it's time to t h i n k about dinner. ?????
OH YEAH.....Football withdrawal is no joke! Man---when does it start?!?!?! ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐
Sending hugs and smooches to ya all ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐๐งก
Well I finally got Jim to add me to his Credit Union acct! He was having trouble with his ATM card so I told him I would drive him to the big city to check it out. While in the office I told him he might as well put my name on his account, and he did! Now to get him to his other bank! That one is closer. I will tell him to just walk in while he is in town and add me. I think I convinced him when I told him when he dies, I will not have the money to bury him for a couple years lol! A friend of ours is going through all that right now and had to pay lawyer $4,000 to get things started in probate.
ReplyDeleteHe has not been feeling well. I sent his primary Dr a message describing his low bp & dizziness. She told me to keep monitoring him and may have to have some blood work done.
I need to call and set up my and his yearly physical. Our Ins pays for it.
It's a bitch getting old!
Mary, I so agree about getting old. It’s a BITCH! I keep saying my golden years have turned to RUST! I am now having a problem with my right leg where my thigh meets my hip. So, just something else to add to the aches and pains column. I agree with the others about adding your name to Jim’s account. At least he did one account. Don’t you have to be there when he does it? Or did he just make you a beneficiary? When Bob had we had everything in both of our names. It was a good thing, because he didn’t have a will. I didn’t have to go through probate.
ReplyDeleteDianne, I think you asked me if Bob had heart problems before his heart attack and the answer is “no.” He did have high blood pressure, but he took meds to control it. However, he was a heavy smoker!
Ever since we were dating, he would say he wasn’t going to live to a ripe old age! I guess he had some kind of feeling about it!
I’m glad Louis is doing better. I’m sure it relieves you of some stress too.
You have a lot of friends named Barb! LOL
JL, OMG, I’m so glad you were able to avoid that wheelbarrow. How awful that would have been if you weren’t so alert to the traffic.
I saw that Maxim was able to get home today. He is so conflicted about having to leave family and friends, but not being here with his wife and child.
Seaside, we got a little rain last week, but not nearly enough. My two kitties are doing really well. My Mellie Cat had always been a cuddly love, while Tara Cat has always let me pet her, but on her terms and when she’s done, she DONE! Lately, though, she has been really lovey. When I’m sitting at the computer, she will come up to my side and tap me on the arm twice, then look at me with those soulful eyes that say “please pet me!” It is so sweet. By the way, she has one green eye and one light brown eye. They are both a great comfort to me.
SacBarb. He added me to his account thank goodness. I need to get him to our local bank. That is where a lot of his cash is. He still has stocks & bonds and of course life ins through GM. Now if I can just get him to get our final resting place, hopefully with a view lol!!
ReplyDeleteI took down a big cheesecake to the VFW. for a memorial service this morning. I didn't know the man, but knew his son and many of his friends.
A really sweet gal that I met through the American Legion and my Karaoke gigs, passed away unexpectedly this week. I feel so bad for her brother. They just lost their Dad last year. He lived next to my son Tony. That, and all the troubles in the Ukraine, is just so sad!
We are having 2 unusually warm days here, so I am heading outside to hook up a new downspout from an eves-trough. I think some of the rain water has been seeping into the lower garage. I need to remove a big chunk of ice from Queenie's outdoor kennel's roof tarp. Hopefully it is melted enough for me to remove. I swept out all the old bedding/straw and need to put new straw in. She needs to be out during the day. She has been shedding horribly! Gobs of hair everywhere!
Jim took a couple of wheel barrels of the straw to the burning pit. Now he is all pooped out! I made BLTs, so he wouldn't starve to death lol!
I have been so worried about Matthew's legs due to his Diabetes. They are red and swollen with a deep rash. He has been itching terribly. He went to the Dr for the itching, but did not show his legs. Men! He thinks he may be allergic to all the dog hairs floating around. I'm not too sure about that.
Well, I'm off..........
Hi…barb, I have three barbs in my life…you, barb that’s came with me to blog gathering and then one other Barb. The one you know is the one I hang out with the most. Kind of like your Jennifer’s . Louis gets confused too. I did go to lunch with the other barb today. She’s becoming very forgetful and she’s 71. She keeps talking to all these Medicare people and I now thing she has two supplements. Her phone rang ten times during lunch today. I answered one of them to tell them to get lost. This time was about the car warranty she bought last week. Ended up giving her the phone and next thing I know she was giving her credit card number. I’m good friends with her brother and sil in Texas. I’ve told them things that r going on. She has one daughter here that she’s close to but she thinks barb is fine! It’s really sad as I’ve known her about 30;years and that there’s nothing I can do. She just retired about two years ago. I agree with you about the rusty years,
ReplyDeleteJL, I’m really glad u were paying attention to see the wheel barrel. Very scary. Did you watch the ACMS tonight? Liked it without commercials. I wish they were all, like that tonight. Now it’s going to on demand. It was a lot of the newer artists. I knew their songs but not who was singing it it’s also kind of nice to keep up with the new stars.
Mary, better get Jim to that bank. We did all our funeral arrangement right down to the songs a few years ago. We even have our urns. I have a book with lots of things written down for the kids to know about little things. Actually, I’m going to update it on our
Mtn weekend next week. Louis gets his trial back thing put in next Thursday. I sure hope it works. I have all my shows for Branson in October with my cousins. We r going to see Terry Bradshaw one night he’s so funny. I think it will be good.
We finally had sun and. 28 degrees high today but sun shining. Snow and 3 degrees Friday. I’m thrilled. …not! . Well, time for some sleep. No nap today
Hello, guess I’ll drop in again. It’s been snowing and below 0. Too yucky but up to mid 60’s tmrw. We have another storm next Thursday. Every darn week we’ll, at least daylight savings starts this weekend. Had lunch with my niece and my new great nephew. He’s so cute and only two months old. The 19mo Lydia was with her grandma today. I don’t really have much to tell. It wa a decent week. Louis went to see Bateman today with Andy. I haven’t been to the movie for two years. Barb won’t go yet and that’s my movie partner. I’m ready to go. I some how don’t care to watch movies at home. I’d rather listen to music. It’s more relaxing to me,
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope all are doing well. I just did a gentle nudge so hopefully more will join
OK! I’m here. Thanks for the nudge, Dianne.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been so busy trying to keep my sister’s stuff straight, I almost can’t think straight. I’m working on how to get a bank account opened for her. I closed her old one when it got hacked for the second time and on the advice of the bank rep helping me, I put her money in a new account in my name and added Chad in case something happens to me, he can access it. It was only supposed to be temporary. In the meantime, I had to call Social Security and the two retirement places that send her checks and ask for paper checks. She was on direct deposit, but they couldn’t deposit her checks into an account in my name. That was September 30. So her checks finally started coming in and I thought enough time had passed that we could open an account for her in a different bank or credit union. Well, we have run into a huge snag!
She let her drivers license expire in 2015 and yes she was still driving until 2020 when I started getting more involved. She didn’t even realize her license was expired. I didn’t realize her memory was getting that bad, yet. I thought we could just take her to DMV to get an ID. NOPE! They require valid ID to get an ID, like birth certificate, Baptism certificate, or school records and utility bills for proof of address. So here’s the problem! Her birth certificate and Baptism name don’t match any utility bills or other records she currently has. Her birth certificate shows Maria, everything since then shows Marie! I have checks for her in the name of Marie that I can’t deposit into the account with my name because the bank won’t allow it, even if she signs them over to me. Things have tightened up since ID theft has become such a “thing.” Chad had a school friend at our credit union and we tried to contact him to see if he could help, but he left that job and moved to San Francisco! I’m going to go into the Credit Union on Monday and ask them what the hell I’m supposed to do!!!! As you can probably guess, she is no help because she doesn’t remember why her birth name is different from what she had been called her entire life! In the meantime, the money she had in her account is dwindling because I’m trying to keep her financially afloat and paying her bills! I’m about to lose my mind!
So, aren’t you sorry you nudged us to post! LOL
Oh Barb, what a mess! For 5 yrs before I went to kindergarten, I was called "Sylvia" even though my birth name was "Mary Ann". The school teachers kept calling me Mary, totally confused me for a while lol! My Aunties on my Dad's side hated the name "Mary Ann" because, to them it sounded like "Marana" which means "pig". My Mom's side didn't like that "Sylvia" sounded like chiva" which to them sounded like "goat!(in Spanish) So they put both names in a jar. 'Mary Ann" was drawn, but my Dad's side would forever call me "Sylvia" LOL! I am glad I stuck with my birth nae even though I like to rattle off my "full" name...Maria Anna Sylvia Sanchez Syrjala!
ReplyDeleteDianne, I can't remember the last time I have been inside a movie theater. None of my local friends are ever available. I used to go with my SIL. She passed a couple years ago. I didn't realize that she was an alcoholic then. She would bring in a bottle of Gin into the theater, and pour it into our drinks. I almost gagged when I took a sip! It was pretty much all gin! I gave it back to her. Years later she got so bad that she all most died! Thank God she went into rehab and had many good dry years. I sure do miss her. She was my buddy
Seaside I hope you are feeling better since your last post. I know I am guilty of overdoing it! I can only wait so long for Jim to do something, then I dig in and do it!
JustLin, How are you? I hope you are keeping warm! It was 17* last night! We had a couple of warm days (in the 50s) and we all got excited with spring around the corner. Well Mother nature blew that for us! We had enough snow Fri. that many surrounding schools were closed. Matthew had a 3 day week end, so he liked that lol!
While it was "warm" I cleaned out Queenie's outdoor kennel. I went to a local farmer and bought some clean straw for bedding. I also managed to remove a large, thick sheet of ice from the tarp covering her kennel. That was so heavy! I had thrown some salt up there to kind of break it up. It barley affected it. After removing the ice,I took some 2x4x10 boards and shored up the roof from the inside. I hadn't noticed the other ones had somehow shifted,so the snow and rains settled in the one sagging spot. I can't wait until Queenie can stay out during the day! She has been shedding something terrible!
Mary As a matter of fact, I'm not warm enough at the moment and just put on a sweater. My last blood tests indicated that I need a higher dose of thyroid meds. I've only been on the new dose for a few days and we will recheck my values in a couple of months. I wonder if that's why I've been cold so much or if it's just the weather here and the fact that the sun has been too low behind the tall trees on the mountain to shine on my house. As the season changes, I'm getting more sun on my property now. In fact, the little kids from across the street and their grandma were out in front of my house playing this morning as my side is the "sunny" side. Anyway, I went out on my front porch in my robe and slippers with my coffee and visited with them a while. The sun felt really good and it was nice to visit with their grandma and watch the kids play. Later when I was taking my shower, I found that something had flown up my robe while I was outside and bit me on the back of my calf just below the back of my knee. Itchy! I don't know what it is that's been flying around for the last couple of months but I sure wish they'd stop picking on me.
ReplyDeleteI'm very concerned about Matthew's legs. How could he have seen the doctor and not mentioned his legs? Men!!!! It is nothing for diabetics to fool around about. I'm sure he doesn't want to lose his legs. The men in your house are so pig-headed. I think you need to turn into a drill sergeant to get them to take care of themselves.
I guess spring really is coming if your dog is shedding so much. Kimberly Watley had high praise recently on FB about a pet brush that got tons of loose fur off of her cat. I believe it is made by Ozark. You might want to check it out.
Barb I sure wish I could come up with the magic solution for you to resolve this mess with your sister's finances. It's too bad you can't just go to a Notary Public and verify that she is who she says she is and have the bank accept that. Once you get her Baptism info, and apply for her ID, can you open an account under Maria with an AKA Marie right on the checks? A number of people have nicknames or stage names.
ReplyDeleteI felt so satisfied with how Joe Millionaire ended and now so disappointed that the Kurt/Amanda thing didn't work out. At leas they are still friends so that is good. It wouldn't have worked out with Carolyn, either, imo. She was already bossy with him and it would only get worse. He may have women coming out of the woodwork after being on the show. He may find the perfect one out of that.
Time for me to shift laundry from the washer to the dryer so it can sit there for a couple of days. LOL
Dianne Thanks for the heads up about the country music show but I don't like country music so, no, I didn't watch it. LOL I think it may be Seaside that is a country fan.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good time in the mountains. It's nice to have a little getaway. I'll be flying to Eugene in June to visit my daughter. I wonder if we can have masks off inside the airport by then. It wouldn't make it easier for me to breathe while I walk. The United gates are at the farthest end of the terminal and it's a pain in the sciatica as well as asthma issues that make it not a fun trek. I would still want to wear my mask when inside the plane, though, sitting so close to everyone else.
I don't recall if you and Louis got the new Shingles vaccines. I got my second one last week and it bothered my arm for several days. At least it never has to be done again. I'm wishing Louis good luck on his upcoming procedure. I sure hope that device makes his back feel better. My back is all out of whack at the moment. It doesn't take much.
Seaside Oh, I really miss the rain, too. Some parts of our country are getting way too much and we are getting way too little. I don't care for driving in the rain, especially now that I'm older, but I love listening to it and watching it and I love the way it smells. I think we have a chance of getting a little more rain at the beginning of this week. I'm crossing my fingers.
ReplyDeleteYou wrote that you just can't sit still. Unfortunately, I am very, very good at being still. LOL Many years ago, I actually had a doctor tell me I was the stillest patient he had ever seen. In those days I actually had low blood pressure. Oh, how the times have changed! LOL
I don't recall if you had COVID or not or if you even tested for it when you were sick, but effects can linger a long time so maybe that's what's going on with you. Listen to your son and take it easy or at least easier until you are recovered 100%.
Bebbie Waving a wing at you! It looked like you and your granddaughter had a lot of fun in the pool in Florida.
ReplyDeleteThe other night at midnight I was sitting at the computer when I suddenly heard strange noises coming from my kitchen. I looked in the kitchen and quickly realized that my empty Mr. Coffee machine had turned on. I then realized that I had accidentally set the Delay setting when I wiped it down earlier in the day. Lesson learned! Glad I was awake to hear it.
ReplyDeleteJustLin, Whew, glad you discovered the turned on pot before going to bed! Sometimes I think the dials are too close together or too easy to set off on many appliences.
ReplyDeleteIn my Jeep, my emergency tab is close to my radio buttons. A few times I have accidentally hit that and had my flashers go off! My shifter gear is close to my emergency brake switch and can be easily turned. When I try to move my car, it does a quick tiny lunge that always scares me into thinking my cars is dying on me lol!
We are having what I hope is our last cold spell! I am so ready for warmer weather!
Jim's sons will be traveling here from Montana this week for a visit. They drive, which makes me nervous due to the unpredictable weather this time of year. We really don't have much sleeping room for them since Zoie & I took over the spare bedroom. Tim, the oldest will get my room and Todd, likes to stay up watching tv so he usually sleeps in the overstuffed chair that reclines in the living room. Zoie & I will likely be sleeping on the floor in Jim's room. His bed is too high for Zoie. Jim's snoring, yelling and body twitching scares her and she tries to jump down, so the floor it is lol! They will only be staying a couple of days, so we can handle it. They drive through the Upper Peninsula and visit relatives, head to lower Mich and visit their Mother near the lake, then stay with us and visit nearby relatives. Their Mother had all sons from 3 or 4 different husbands so they have my sons, plus a few other step brothers to visit incl their families.
Guess who needs to start deep cleaning? So, if I am mia for a few days, you will know why lol!
Have a good week all!
Mary, guess what? You’re not done with the snow. We r getting some Thursday and you know I always send it to you. How late do you have snow there? We have thru April and I can remember a Mother’s Day or two with snow. I’m so done with it as I always am. Do u have a mattress or something to sleep on for comfort on the floor. Maybe he should sleep on the floor or couch. I guess I don’t think you should have to go to the floor. do you do anything fun while they r there? We don’t have any room for anyone to stay. I always say well, do I want to sleep with me or Louis? That usually detours them. Lol
ReplyDeleteBarb, oh my gosh, what a mess with your sisters finances. I think it’s a good idea you go to the credit union and ask for help. My name is Helen dianne and I’m not fond of it. Schools always started out calling me Helen. Have the time I didn’t even know it was me. My dads family called me Helen and my dad too. Mom and her family called me dianne. Now I’m back to Helen with insurance and Medicare. Again when dr office calls me for a room I forget it’s me. A lot of my friends call me Di and I really like that name. Niece calls me aunt Di. Bottom line…it’s always been a pain. I hope you can get it worked out. I’m sure it’s so frustrating and time consuming. That’s scary how quick your husband had a heart attack. How old was he? My deceased husband literally got a cold on Friday. Went to work sat and got worse Sunday. He was diabetic went into a coma shortly after getting to hospital and never woke up and died two weeks later. The said he had the Jim Henson pneumonia. It was awful and his daughter had a baby during that time in same hospital. Very sad
JL, u would freeze here. Kind of scary having something fly up your robe! Glad it stopped at your leg! We added an extra day to our weekend so we will leave Friday about noon and come home Monday. I have two busy projects to take with me. Barb may come up one day and meet us for lunch. I think that would be a nice break too for all of us. I’m anxious to go to shoulder dr Wednesday and see if louis gets released soon. He’s doing well. We go for back thing on Thursday. He can’t drive afterwards but I’ll be there anyway.
Seaside, you and Mary both need to slow down. I’m in between you and JL. I can rest easy but just not stay home all day. I had no plans yesterday so louis and I went to breakfast. I just had to get out even for a short time. I’m glad you have Munchkin with you and of course Gidget.
Bev, I think I’m going to have to do a private nudge to you.
