Just a "Fluff"

Boston Legal, I have been watching it for years, and each year I enjoy it more.

Denny Crane, Ha, yep just the name, cracks me up, he is absolutely, with no mistake a "serious nut", and truth be told I love every minute of it.

His facial expressions tell the whole story, but mostly when he is interacting with Alan, they feed off each other, like hungry bears eating their one and only meal. Bottom line, they get each other!

Here is a perfect You Tube clip of Denny and Carl, no more words needed!

  1. Good morning~

Can't believe it's just sitting here waiting to be taken.

    First!!

Carol~Boston Legal is my most favorite show, so much so that when I added my playlist to myspace, I put the theme song on as one of my selections.

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.

  3. Good Morning Ronnie - Congrats on being the first and only this morning. We have a huge wind storm right now. There are thousands without power but so far my lights are on. I will try and catch up on past blogs today. I have never seen Boston Legal so I will start from the beginning of the blogs I missed. Hoping all owls have a good day today.

  6. ZonaBaby - Good Morning my dear. I didn't expect to see your name when I checked back. You going to sleep now so I will expect my phone call this afternoon after my nap.

Carol - I started with yesterday's blog. I so agree about Monday's especially lately. Monday will not be a good day for me for quite a while. I tried to read the comments. There were so many I wanted to respond to but by the time I finished reading I couldn't remember what I wanted to say. Short term memory loss starting already????? I will read them again later and I will take notes. Oh, oh my lights just flickered. I had better make my tea.

  12. Morning Glories!

    Ronnie got first! Wahoo!

Carol I love Boston Legal and so does Mr. Lynn D. However when they kept moving the night it came on we kind of lost track. Now you have given me a perfect xmas present I am going to get the boxed sets!

Well Cadence was born at 1:50 am and is doing great. I got home at 4:30 am and slept until a few minutes ago. Not really coherent yet.

    Will check back later.

  13. Congrats on first Ronnie!!

It is my favorite show of all time. Last night was a good one too.

  14. Good Afternoon Everyone,

Thank you MEK and ZONA and EJB for the information on Arizona, hes looking into it, I of course don't want to move, but hes becoming more serious about it. Hes checking jobs out there, I'm not gonna get my feathers ruffeled right now. LOL But if he gets a wild hair up his A$$ one never knows what will happen with him.

Moweenie, I do agree with you about Cloris Leachman, Jerry Springer, and George Hamilton, and even Billy Ray didn't disgrace the show. My husband was laughing so hard, he actually made me laugh. But what really got me was the dog butt scooch. I mean this is Ballroom Dancing, not some rinky dinky dance show. But I read the ABC message board last night and they think no one is gonna go home, like when Sara Evans left because of her husband. Plus ABC has advertisers already lined up for so many episodes so we shall see tonite. Remember its on at 8:00 EST because of the Debate.

  17. I've just started watching BL, kind of late in the game as this is the last season.

Jim taped Ghost Whisperer on Friday, and we watched it last night. Zona, Tink, MEK, SacBarb, and other GW fans, what did you think? It looks like they're introducing a new character to replace the professor (can't remember the name of the actor, but he's got a part in another show).

And now we've got a cadre of ghosts who are protective of people like Melinda, but want them to understand the price of their gift. Hmmmm... how will THEY interact with the evil group who don't want to go into the light?

    LOL! 'Tis a fine madness!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Whabby- I was hoping for more fireworks in the season opener of GW. Also, I'm not to sure about the new charcter. He doesn't do anything for me, yet.

I have never watched BL. I will put that on my list.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Tinka- It is nice to see you on the blog today.

MEK- Brownies sound good. I'm craving chocolate due to Aunt Flo.

    ReplyDelete
  20. BEAR: I missed the season opener of Ghost Whisperer! We need to set up a reminder system! Remember last year?? LOL! I guess you were a little too busy this weekend to send me a MS reminder.. ;)

MEK: Chocolate overload...I'm making brownies tomorrow!!

    IBB: G'morning..G'night..it all becomes a blur... ;)

LYNND: This is going to be the last season of Boston Legal..what a shame. They really did move it around too much. It's such a great show. I had a hard time watching anything James Spader was in...until this show. I just love him now.

VIG: Didn't you hear the call to brownies...thwap..thwap..thwap.. ;)

    TINKA: LOVE seeing you march!

    TINA: Sending golden earplugs! ;)

ITEACH: I sure hope your day is going well...

Waving HI to RENEE and BEBBI

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ronnie Good job being first today.

Carol What a funny video. I do like the show but now I'm watching Life which is on opposite it. I do catch BL reruns very late at night. I've always liked James Spader.

Tinka Love seeing your little brown owl today.

Lani If you're lurking, I hope your cold is better.

    Dreama Happy Birthday!

  22. Good evening feathered friends!

I called off from the hell hole tonight. I just couldn't bear to go there tonight. Long story.

RONNIE...congrats on 1st! Denny Crane, Denny Crane!!

MEK and ZONA...ooohhh, brownies for 2 days! YIPPEEEEEE!

    DREAMA...Happy Birthday

LYNN D...start planning the wedding for Ritchie and Cadence! That will kinda make you and Angel related!

TINKA...so glad to see you posting. I hope being with your owl friends gives you lots of comfort.

CAROL...I LOVE Boston Legal! It is so well written and even better acted. Shame that it is the last season. Have fun at the Novena festival.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Good Afternoon Owls....

LYNND: Maybe you could get a job as a mid-wife as much as you have been around delivering babies lately. I wonder how much it pays?

RENEE EVE: I think after hearing the information from MEK AND ZONA about Arizona...I would suggest you move closer to ZONA..less snakes!

I went to the movie today to see Nights in Rodanthe. It was a good movie and a sad too. It is by Nicholas Sparks, the same author as The Notebook.

ZONA: How did that pork turn out last night/this morning? And what did you do since the pool was cold..I forgot?

Hmmm,I wonder what I should have for the debate dinner. LYNND; I don't think I will try coming by your house this time, although "third time is a charm". My words for shots tonight are "maverick" and "you don't get it." I should be pretty much under the table with those phrases. What is your pick?

TINK; I am so glad to see you back in the nest. I have really missed you and hope you are doing better each day and finding peace.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Zona-thanks it is going well

Hubby and I are getting ready to clean the basement. As you can tell I detoured right to the computer.

  26. When I was in college we use to the play the drinking game with the Blues Brothers.

Every time they said "We are on a mission from God" we had to drink.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi All!

I hope everyone had a great day.

Iteach: That is funny about the drinking whenever they said they were on a mission from God.

Ghost Whisperer was good! I almost always miss it too though, it is hard for me to make it at 8pm on Fridays.

I didn't know that Boston Legal was on its last year! That sucks!!

Well, I only walked 8100 steps today. It rained and I had to walk in the rain but I did it. Still holding at 25 lbs too.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hi ITEACH: That sounds like a fun drinking game. I doubt we will hear that phrase tonight during the debates. lol

BEAR; How was the one day honeymoon? I love all the pictures from Seaside Lady. Are you or Jim going to move or stay in your current places?

CAROL: I don't watch Boston Legal. I have no extra time between night time shows and a couple I record during the day and the reality shows too.

RONNIE: How are you doing? Is everything back to normal around your place after the storm?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bebbi-

I bought me one of those step thingys too.

However, don't ask me what mine is today. :0

I will give you a report tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Just doing a quick fly by to say hello owls and to welcome Tinka back into the nest, say congrats to Ronnie for being first, say thanks to Carol for another funny blog and say,

    Happy Birthday, Dreama!!

My Mom had a cornea transplant today. She has to stay on her back for 24 hours. She has a horrible headache but is doing okay. Amazingly enough, the new cornea does not have to be "stitched" on any longer--they insert an air bubble between the new cornea and eye and as the bubble dissolves the cornea sucks up to attach itself. Cool, huh? That's why she has to stay flat on her back. Not fun but hopefully she'll be able to see well again. She has Fuchs Disease--permanent swelling of the corneas.

I'm so exhausted so I'll just say goodnight everyone. I'm going to watch the debate and go to bed.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sandie- thanks for the report and medical lesson about your mom.

I had to read it twice. Thank goodness for all the advances in surgery.

I watching the debate with one eye.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Damn...whoever picked the words for shots as "my friends" would be plastered and under the table by now! Or "Joe Lieberman" would be feeling no pain either!

    ReplyDelete
  33. MO: So glad you took the day off from that..that..PLACE...!!

DIANNE: The pork roast was incredibly well received! :)

SANDIE: I'm glad your mom is home and resting. Get some sleep...sweet dreams!

ITEACH: I've never played any drinking games...oh wait..there was the one where I tried to see how many different shots I could drink in an hour. That one didn't turn out so good... ;)

MEK: It's almost 7pm and it's still 93 degrees...what happened to our cooling trend??

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ohhh, "fundamental" would have been a good choice, too! Hiccup!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. MO: Sorry, I meant night off...sometimes I confuse myself something awful.. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  36. ZONA...you are too cute! Day, night...it doesn't matter. As long as I wasn't there is all that matters! {{hugs}}

SANDIE..hope your mom makes a full recovery

    ReplyDelete
  37. Where is Carol, I miss her?

MEK, you know have me hungry for brownies!

Jodi left a message on my answering machine tonight saying that her computer is getting fixed.

  38. Hey Plus-Size woman,

CJ Banks has a really good sale online right now.

  50. Zona:
I am still fighting this throat thing, I can't seem to shake it. I took some over the counter meds and hence I feel loopy... down/up up/down, I don't think it would have mattered, I would have been mixed up anyway...

    ReplyDelete
  51. Its the swallowing that is so very painful. Every friggen time I shallow, the pain shoots to the ears... I wonder what that is?

    ReplyDelete
  52. CPGEM: Is there a nurse help line you could call and get some answers?? You might want to check with a doc..I know I know...I hate to go too...but if you're in pain, you might want to have it checked out.

    ReplyDelete
  53. WOW...two days in a row!! That was for TINA, KGRL and JODI to share... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hi all! Feel better, Carol. Are you sure it isn't an inner ear thing again?

Boston Legal, IMO, is the best thing on network TV. David E. Kelley's writing and the actors' delivery is all pure genius. Just enough over-the-top humor to take the sting out of the spot-on world commentary.

Only one comment from me on the debate....I want to know if LynnD survived McCain's opening line about appointing Meg Whitman of eBAY as Treasury Secretary...I doubt if she heard anything after that (lol)!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm dropping off the whipped cream for you all. I don't watch Biggest Loser, I watch House. :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. BonO OMG! You are right! Has anyone heard from Lynn or has she gone 'round the bend?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ladies, I'm off to find the heating pad.

I have cramps in my lower back and by tomorrow morning they will be in the front.

About 16 more years of this

    ReplyDelete
  58. Carol, please go to the doctor tomorrow. Take care of yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tinka, if you are reading this, good night sweet lady!

    ReplyDelete
  60. G'night ITEACH...sweet dreams of 16 years from now... :)

  64. Has anyone heard from Goldie since she posted just after the wedding?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Bono - no, I haven't heard from Goldie either!! sorry...

Whabby - about Ghost Whisper - i was NOT impressed for it being a Season Premiere - don't really care for the new guy that was introduced...... SO, hopefully, it will get better as the weeks go on...

    ReplyDelete
  66. iteach and Zona: I was kind of hoping for an opener with more of a punch too. Zona, you didn't miss too much.

Dianne: No, after about the most conventional wedding a gay couple could have, we're going to continue with our unconventional life! Me down in Mountain View, Mr Whabbear up here in San Francisco.

    Someday, we'll be together! LOL!

Today was very nice... we wrote thank-you notes to wedding giftgivers and then headed out to check on big screen HDTVs. Sis and bro-in-law were awfully generous with their wedding gift, which means Mr Whabbear's place gets a new TV!

Hmmmm... maybe I should do this wedding thing more often... LOL!

Carol, hope you shake this thing!

iteach: Good luck with that thing you can't shake!

MEK and Zona: Eat hearty! It'll be winter soon!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Whabby - we were posting at the same time!!!
    :-)
    wow - a new TV!!!
    :-)

  69. Holla.......

I was eating my face off with some friends for the evening so missed my chance to eat my face off with the Biggest Losers. Would someone mind MSing me with who was voted off! Thank you kindly!!!

MEK...what...is Gillian crazy? The only body part that is going to move during the show is my mouth...chomp, chomp, chomp!!! Well, actually I do do some serious weight lifting... the fork with that big bit of dessert on it is heavy!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. MEK: I'm suddenly all verklept!

I just finally found the time to read all the toasts that all the owls did to Mr Whabbear and I on Saturday night.

OMG! You all were so awesome! The word we keep hearing about that time is love... how much love there was in the air during our vows... and after reading all your toasts, I'm now convinced that some of the emotion was feeding in from the "cyberspace express".

Owls, you are an awesome bunch! Seriously... thank you all so very much!

DonnaJean: The sun did indeed come out, and the weather was gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  71. VIG - I can't get into myspace right now..
but - NO one went home on Biggest Loser tonight - the other hour will be on tomorrow night because of the debate....... SO, we have to wait!!!
    :-)

Whabby - passing you a box of kleenex!!!
    :-)
here's a funny for you - Mr. MEK asked if your wedding was being Webcammed live somewhere - and i said - not if Huz has anything to do with it!!!
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Zona - that's right - we are getting ready to COME ALIVE!! LOL..

but - at least we are ALMOST out of the 100's!!!
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  73. BEAR: MRD and I lived like that the first year we were married with him coming down from the mtns on Friday night. It was like a date weekend...

LYNND: Where are you tonight? You aren't sleeping through that debate after your delivery duties today, are you?

ZONA: I am glad all that dinner "stuff" worked out for you!

ITEACH: Is that store you are talking about only online or is it at shopping centers?

J/Linn: How are you doing? Are you and Custard doing okay now? Hope things are going well for you.

    ReplyDelete
  74. MEK: You forgot to wish us a Happy Tuesday last night! That is my "tuck-in" from you each night.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Dianne - I am SOOOOOO sorry..

i thought i did...(i'll have to go back and look!! LOL)

I hope everyone has an excellent WEdnesday!!!

DIANNE: It came out perfectly! Pics of Mr. Z in an orange shirt should be up by this weekend...I know you spent all your allowance on it..so he's going to put it on for you.. :D

  80. Mr. Married Whabbear...this is going to sound hokey, but it is so cool how your happiness radiates through your posts. It is really wonderful to read how over the moon you are about your wedding and your huz. Really wonderful...congrats again!!!

MEK...thanks for letting me know about MS. Okay, another night of MS and serious couch potato-ing. So what shall we eat tomorrow? Couch potatoes....potatoes...FRENCH FRIES!!!! Yes!!!!

  82. MEK: swak...thanks and good night.

ZONA: Glad to hear you passed my message on to MrZ..remember, I don't have a darn job so I stretch my pennies!!
