~ Lee's Hallelujah ~

by Tina~in_ut

I love this song anyway, and yes, I know you've heard it now for the third time!  lol....I DON"T CARE!  I loved Lee's performance.  When they went back to his hometown of Arlington Heights and I saw all the kids in their school uniforms waiting for him, hubby and I were excited!  A Catholic school!  I looked up their website, which hubby, with his critical eye, decided was well done, and I saw this:

A Time to BeLEEive!

We are in a busy and exciting season at St. James School!  We are so proud of our 2nd graders as they made their First Holy Communion this month and we are proud of our 8th graders, who have grown into amazing young adults, and will soon leave SJS to become part of the great group of SJS alum!  We are all excited and certainly BeLEEiving in one SJS alumnus these past several weeks, Lee DeWyze, and wish him luck on American Idol!

The power of believing in our faith, ourselves, and one another makes us strong, compassionate, and supportive.  Thanks for all the believing you do at St. James!

And there was a link which led to this:

Whether he wins or comes in second, it doesn't matter!  This nice young man will succeed~ YAY Lee~

  1. Good morning TINA & MO!!

I JUST got up. Can you believe it?!!? LEE is great...and I must admit I have NOT been watching AI, but I certainly will try now.

MO - How is your cousin? Are you heading back to the hospital today?

  2. I do love that song. I'm afraid I've no clue what's going on with AI, though.

  7. Because of her being in ICU? If you explain that she has no children....will they let a cousin in?

  8. JODI...there are limited visitation times in ICU. It has already been decided that I am a sister. I have to call the hosp and find out what the times are.

  9. Good morning!!

I did watch AI's last episode....I had recorded it and just ran thru quickly.....

I have read in several places that this season on AI is very "lack lustre" so I wanted to see for myself....and while there is nothing extraordinary this season.....I loved Lee's version of Hallelujah.....

and he is so cute! I'd like for him to bury his face in my stinker and let me blow him a kiss!!

and that blonde that got voted off....with the curls....honey hush! That boy is
    S E X Y!!!
I could tell by his swagger that HE knows he way around a ladies boudoir!! Wooooof!! Hes one of those men that loves going "Downtown!" if you KWIM....smooch..

Well great! Now my zorch is on fire again.....I hate when that happens and theres no man around!!

Maybe I can find my old electric muscle exerciser.....that thing will toss your taco salad!!

ohh baby...give me 120 volts and make it hurt!!

    Tina at first! Yay!

Don't watch AI hope the kid can keep it together after they get through Hollywoodizing him.

Did not sleep well and can't pull a coherent thought right now.

Mo your cousin is lucky to have you and it sounds like she is very lucky no broken bone! Saying prayers!

Deedee sending you a (((hug))) letting go is hard but Lisa needs to do this. Thank goodness we have phones and cell phones as I am sure she will keep in contact with you one her adventure.

  16. Good morning LYNN!! Just made my 2nd pot of cawfee!! Want some?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Jodi....lol

The party was good....tons of people that don't get to see Lisa often...like her employees...and many friends....so she was very busy hugging people and posing for photos....

and the ones I know...after they visited with Lisa...headed to me for support....and helping them with their tears and their fear didn't give me time to feel sorry for myself.....and I reconnected with friends from way back....so its was as good as it could have been....

Lisa and I had talked last week about regrets...well as you can imagine I did most of the talking.....and I delighted to see a couple of people whose relationships with Lisa had hit stormy weather a few years ago...

I saw one girl come in....Margaret.....she and Lisa had been so close for years....and over 2 years ago there was a falling out......

I got Lisas attention when Margaret came in and asked her what she was doing there.....Lisa said..."I called her...told her I couldn't even remember what went wrong between us...but that I love her and wanted to see her....

So I knew Lisa had taken our conversation to heart and tied up a couple of loose ends.....and I love it when people do what I say!!

With most of my friends being younger than me so few of them will follow instructions.
But I love it when they do...its just so hard for them to wrap their minds around the fact that they are in the presence of omnipotence...

and there is one that is just downright hard headed and as stubborn as a mule!! I won't name names.....(Tina)

Lisas brother in law set the bar for he and I to have an expensive bottle of "port" that he had acquired...and he went to so much trouble to do it perfectly that I had to have a glass....I have the hardest time convincing him that I just practically never drink anymore.....and certainly not port....I know its supposed to be all high-falutin' and all....but I don't care for more than maybe a small glass with a meal....

although I do LOVE tequila.. an old and dear friend of mine and Lisa's started a company (American) that markets and sells one of the most popular tequilas in the world....and needless to say....Lisa and I both have a lifetime supply....lol

Last night Lisa was applying tattoos to everyone and I didn't even think of it until I stopped at my fave Handi-Stop for a DC and Carlos was staring at my boob...I had 2 tattoos....and I was quick to tell him that those were not real...

He smiled real big and said "they sure look real to me!!"

    I said..."the TATTOO'S you cheeky monkey!!"

  18. DEE DEE - Sounds like the evening was a success and just what Lisa needed. lol @ cheeky monkey ♥

  22. DeeDee: It sounds like a wonderful night, so glad you had more fun than expected and that Lisa took your advice. It sounds like it worked out well for her.

I had this serious image of Lee with his head in your ass crack as you blew him a fart..omg....you are too detailed in your descriptions sometimes....ROFLMAO...wow, can't get that image out of my mind and it just seems wrong to think of a good, young catholic boy in that way...lol. ESPECIALLY on a Sunday after listening to him sing Hallelujah! omg...terrible..LOL. Please God, forgive me, for I have sinned!

  23. Okay..zero steps today so I am off to take my daughter's cell charger to her work, get some slim fast, work out, run to the bank and all the fun Sunday stuff...bbl.

Good afternoon Mo, Jodi, Bonachichi, DeeDee, Dianne, Lynn D and Bebbi!

Dianne sorry about your butt. Anything your "accountant" can fix for you?

Tina I do like this guy's singing. If he is still in the competition I hope he wins.

Lynn D don't worry, it's Sunday, you don't have to think.

DeeDee I hope you have a fire extinguisher handy. That zorch gets over heated a lot. You really need to take care of that! ijs.

  31. Can anyone tell me why at 47 years old I am getting zits on my head between my eyebrows? I mean, I know someone told me that I would have zits when I was a teenager, but what the hell?? I thought it was supposed to stop at some point!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Bebbi, you need to get laid. It makes everything better.

  33. BEBBI - 89* here....broke down and turned the air on this morning. Just got done planting geraniums and pansies. When I told Sam what I was planting....she looked at me like I had lost my mind. She thought I had said I was going to plant my PANTIES!!! Goofy girl...but she makes me laugh ♥ Good luck with your workout.

BONACHICHI - I agree...a good romp makes everything better!!

  34. Tina Congrats on your prettiness and thanks for today's blog. I love that song, too, and enjoyed Lee's version of it. I'm rooting for him.

DeeDee To be honest, I don't think that's quite where I'd want his face. knim?

Jodi Waving a wing at you, Girlfriend!

Bonach Where do your adventures take you this time?

Bebbi Maybe it's part of the whole peri-menapausal thing. I lucked out and didn't have too much trouble with that; not as a teen or as an adult.

LynnD Some days I can't formulate a coherent thought, either, and I have to excuse. At least my cat wasn't walking on my face during the night last night like she was a couple of nights ago.

Dianne Don't you hate when that happens?

Shirley How's the weather up there and how's your mum doing?

MO I really can't find the right words to tell you how sorry I am. I hope their diagnosis is premature and that it turns out to be something else. (((HUGS)))

  38. Good evening.

I just got back home. Joanne also has pneumonia. In addition to the 5 units of blood, they are giving her iv iron and iv antibiotics. While was there, the phlebotomist (or vampire as I called her!) came and drew a shit load of blood. I said geez, you give a unit and take a unit!

I have to say that today was the first day in years that Joanne had rosy cheeks and she wasn't freezing. Amazing what some blood does for you.

They have found something on her pancreas and her colon. Today they did a ct scan of her chest, to check her lungs. She is very depressed and told me she is tired and done. She just laid there...no tv, no nothing. I tried to reassure her that this is not a final diagnosis and after the tests are complete it could be something other then cancer.

In typical Joanne mode, with every test they mentioned she said she should go home and then she will come back for the test! This from someone who has not been to a doc since she was a baby.

At one point she had to poopie, so we left the cubicle and went out for some air. It is a pretty long walk for ICU to the door and we were gone about 15 minutes when she called her other sister and asked her when she was coming because we left her and she was alone and needed company!

My heart is breaking for her and Sharon. Sharon has never lived alone in her life and lost her twin sister to cancer about 13 years ago. There is nothing I can do for them.

  45. Tina, I love this song and I love Lee's rendition of it. I think he will be the winner of the AI title.

Mo, I am so sorry to hear about the early diagnosis of your cousin. I am still praying for her and your family. On another note, Joan Rivers' smile kinda looks like the Joker, don't ya think?

Jodi, did you drink all that cawfee by yourself? I would never stop peeing if I drank that much cawfee. :)
