No wonder I can't kill the damn things!!
Honeybees have hair on their eyes.
So if you find hair in your honey don't blame the manufacturer.
Mosquitoes prefer children to adults, and blondes to brunettes.
Umm I don't think the Nova Scotia mosquitoes know that. ijs.
In 1972, a group of scientists reported that you could cure the common cold by freezing the big toe.
Someone try this and let me know if it works, mkay?!
Men have more blood than women. Men have 1.5 gallons for men versus 0.875 gallons for women.
OK this one pissed me off! If men have more blood then how come we have the periods?
In 1977, a 13 year old child found a tooth growing out of his left foot.
Maybe he put his foot in his mouth one too many times!
The average Human bladder can hold 13 ounces of liquid.
Oh no it can't!!!

Even in the wild females do most of the work!

Bet you can't do that DeeDee!!

Hey Dianne and Bebbi try this the next time you go to the movies! Yum!!
Pigturducken is a pig, stuffed with a turkey, which is stuffed with a chicken, deep fried in oil, which is usually put into something similar to a horse trough over propane burners.

Bear or Jodi are either of you from there?

  1. Thats very interesting Shirley....but you have made a mistake...I don't have cheek pouches....if I ever had them they are gone. I think they went with the initial face-lift....and now that when I pee I have to wipe my ears...I am sure they are gone...

I have eaten roasted termites and believe it or not....they are very good. As I have traveled I have always been the first to step up to try new things.....and its not always as easy as the termites were because as they are being roasted the process release a very savory scent.....and they actually have more protein than beef.

Of course I wouldn't eat any unusual things anymore....thats stuff you do when you are younger and still drinking liquor....lol

I enjoy your blogs so much Shirley that I am NOT going to constipate your voodoo doll.....pretty high praise don'tcha think??

  2. Mornin' beautiful DeeDee! I am having visuals of you that I don't need so early in the morning!!
I am terrible at trying new foods. Termites are certainly not high on my "try it list" !

Shirley, I think my puppy is related to the housefly! I catch her chewing on something bad, and all I see is a blurry fur ball!

K, I am off to my sisters. She had toe surgery yesterdayand asked me to bring homemade chicken noodle soup. I "crocked" it all night so it should be good to go.
    Have a super day everyone!!

DeeDee: I dreamed I met you last night and you were a man!

BAM Deedee you are on a roll!

Shirley I am moving to Saskatchewan! imjs

Female Lions doing most of work. Sound about right. Seems to be a mammal thing.

You know the termites thing sounds like a good snack for camping!!!

Carol thinking about you today. Sending virtual (((Hugs)))

  7. Waving at Mary! Have a great day.

Deedee never had a face lift but wondering if my bladder has gotten so small that the pee is now resting in my ears. They keep telling me it is hay fever, but you never know.

Bebbi glad it was just a filling. I have to assume you did not go to Dianne's dentist. :)

  8. Morning everyone...DeeDee, Mary, Bebbi and Lynn D!

Thanks DeeDee, but did you happen to go the other way with my voodoo doll? ijs.

Today is my sister's 37th birthday so I'm off to the store to get stuff for spaghetti and meatballs, then I'm off to mum's to make it. Have a great day Owls.

  9. SHIRLEY: I simply love your bogs. Your wit is so darn funny. I nominate SHIRLEY to write all the blogs...do I hear a second to that motion?

I think I will pass on the termites for my food of choice for the movie but maybe I could pass them off on my grandkids and save some $$.

CAROL: My thoughts are with you today and tomorrow (well always) but extra these two days.

LYNN AND BEBBI: You are right .....BEBBI did not go to my account errrr dentist or this would have hapened: You would have gotten a root canal that didn't work in a few days, had the root canal taken out and then a few more days have the tooth pulled and a bridge put in....well, maybe one more root canal and then owe two dentists $4000. ........glad it was just a filling!

MARY: I am having foot surgery so will you make me some chicken soup? I think I will need some of your homemade pizza and mexican food too as my recovery is long and MRD only cooks brats. That is a lot of brats for 6-8 weeks.....HELP!!!!

DEEDEE: You are again so beautiful. You and TINA are mostly sharing the beauty in the mornings. It is almost like a beauty pagent with one of you being the winner and the other runner up in case the first person can't fulfill their duty....hmmm....wonder which one it is the final winner?

Bebbi Yay for the easy fix to your dental problem! I'm glad your tooth wasn't chipped.

LynnD Hmmm, one more reason for me to not want to go camping.

Dianne I like that beauty pageant comparison. Do you think there's some nude photos of DeeDee or Tina that we could dig up?

  19. Well I just love useless facts. I don't know about that bladder one, though. I could swear I've peed a gallon or more during emergencies.

When Ihave to submit those urine samples, I try to be dainty and just dribble a teeny amount. Then I create my own tsunami in the toilet.
