Don't worry about the Subject "Tenjooberrymuds" will make sense after you read the following.
I was recently in Miami and decided to learn the Spanish language, so I could understand the check-outs at McDonalds.
My next move is to learn Indian, so I can understand my doctors and the person that answers the phone when I have a warranty problem.
Yep, by the time I read this, I was able to understand the 1st line.

"TENJOOBERRYMUDS"... In order to continue getting by in America (our home land), we all need to learn the NEW language! You can practice by reading the following conversation until you are able to understand the term "TENJOOBERRYMUDS". With a little patience, you'll be able to fit right in. Now, here goes... The following is a telephone exchange between maybe you as a hotel guest and room-service somewhere in the good old U S A today....... Room Service : "Morrin. Roon sirbees." Guest : "Sorry, I thought I dialed room-service." Room Service: " Rye . Roon sirbees...morrin! Joowish to oddor sunteen???" Guest: "Uh..... Yes, I'd like to order bacon and eggs.." Room Service: "Ow July den?" Guest: ".....What??" Room Service: "Ow July den?!?... Pryed, boyud, poochd?" Guest: "Oh, the eggs! How do I like them? Sorry.. Scrambled, please." Room Service: "Ow July dee baykem? Crease?" Guest: "Crisp will be fine." Room Service: "Hokay. An Sahn toes?" Guest: "What?" Room Service: "An toes. July Sahn toes?" Guest: "I... Don't think so." RoomService: "No? Judo wan sahn toes???" Guest: "I feel really bad about this, but I don't know what 'judo wan sahn toes' means." RoomService: "Toes! Toes!...Why Joo don Juan toes? Ow bow Anglish moppin we bodder?" Guest: "Oh, English muffin!!! I've got it! You were saying 'toast'.... Fine...Yes, an English muffin will be fine." RoomService: "We bodder?" Guest: "No, just put the bodder on the side." RoomService: "Wad?!?" Guest: "I mean butter... Just put the butter on the side." RoomService: "Copy?" Guest: "Excuse me?" RoomService: "Copy...tea..meel?" Guest: "Yes. Coffee, please... And that's everything." RoomService: "One Minnie. Scramah egg, crease baykem, Anglish moppin, we bodder on sigh and copy .... Rye ??" Guest: "Whatever you say.." RoomService: "Tenjooberrymuds." Guest: "You're welcome" Remember I said "By the time you read through this YOU WILL UNDERSTAND 'TENJOOBERRYMUDS' ".......and you do, don't you! Thank you very much, oh brother!!! |

ha hahaha!!!
tenjooberrymuds!!!
reading that was as frustrating as being on that phone myself...
I have a friend from India and he drives me crazy!! I tell him to
s l o w down and enunciate!!
Doesn't do much good....
When I left him the other day after a couple of hours I said..."well goodbye...I understood very little of what you said and get a HOUSEKEEPER!!!
Lives like a pig! And he is a physician!!
Then yestiddy I spent time with Albie....went to Spain a few months ago and took over 1000 pictures...AND MADE ME LOOK AT EACH ONE!!!!
I find it more satisfying to stay at home and just make an occasional appearance on my balcony....you know...like Eva Peron...and wave to my descamisados....
I hear Yahoo is needing a new CEO!!
Dreading that phone call....I hate telling people no....
Tinka....
Hope you don't mind...using Jacks picture again today but he is just so beautiful....
Hi owls!! Finally got the stick outta my butt!!
Be back later....Oh I am so excited to be back!!!
HEY!! I got my stick removed too!! But half of it broke off so I'm not as sweet as I used to be....
I just feel terrible acting the way I did about Michael....I wonder if I can EVER be forgiven...
MAUREEN!!
How fabulous to see you!!
Good Morning Shirley - nice splat today. I am glad you came without your bag of flour and pot of water. I love you better this way.
and Mary....
I don't get mad and stay mad or hold grudges....negative energy will age you as quick as anything...lq
What a happy surprise and what a happy reunion to see familiar faces in the nest this morning. It made my heart beat faster to see them.

Good Morning Michael - I didn't see you yesterday. I thought you were mad at me because I was teasing you about fighting with Tina. I am not going to do that anymore. I played at being a teacher for almost 40 years and I must put that behind me.
I love the picture of Jack but I won't show it to him because he will want royalties.
Good Morning Maureen - I am excited too to see you back in the nest. I missed you a lot because you aren't on Facebook either. Please give us a day by day account of what you have been doing. Hope you have been well.
Michael - I think you should take that CEO position. It would suit you well.
Tinka! Tinka! Tinka!
Don't you dare stop anything! I love everything you say and do....I could never be mad at you...and that is sincerely stated...
You make this blog fun! I look forward to ur posts and comments.
I think its funny when you run interference between Tina and I...its always in fun....
whats that song? Don't go changing to try and please me...I love you just the way you are!!!
Tinka...
I have a confession...
I have made all the comments today except for yours....yes...Shirley...Maureen...Mary....
I am going to stand in the corner...
Good Morning Mary - First I saw Maureen's post and then my heart beat even faster when I saw yours. Please give us a play by play of your days too. I think maybe the two of you went on a secret trip together and don't want us to know about it. I will have Zona google that for me. How about coming back to Farmtown too? It is so much fun. You wouldn't believe how fast we can harvest and plow now. I have eleven farms on each of my accounts and I love it.
Michael - You are a hoot. How dare you impersonate Maureen and Mary and get us all excited. Ten minutes on the naughty mat for you. (I guess the teacher in me won't stay down.) I love you too you rascal.
Dianne - Speaking of being a teacher I spent years reading stories written by little children who wrote phonetically. Because of that I read the blog with ease and loved it. Thanks for the laugh and for bringing back happy memories.
But wasn't it nice for a moment?
This morning we are going shopping for Jack's birthday presents. His birthday is on Sunday (the same day as the anniversary of 911). I am taking the scooter to the stores for the first time. Will I be able to manoeuvre around the shops Dianne? It will be so much nicer than being in a wheelchair. I feel like I am my mother when I in it. On the scooter I feel like I can conquer the world. I won't be able to surprise Jack with his presents. He will find things that he likes and then he will walk away and I will choose from them.
I must get my babies fed and then off we go.
Zona - I will give you two rings when I get back. Hope you can stay cool today. I will blow some late summer air down to you. That might help.
Have a great day everyone. See you later.

Di~ Not my favorite blag~ But thanks for sending it~ :D
Hi! Shirley! You are so lovely today!!
Hello to Michael, Mary!!!, Maureen, Tinka, Tina!!! :)
Woo hoo..
Bebbi......u crack me the freaking hell up!
Uteach~ the toilet paper was folded in a triangle!!!!!! I love staying in hotels!!!!!!
Darn you MICHAEL....I really thought MO and MARY were not only back but on my blog day!!! You have quite the knack of trickery!!!
Thanks for the comments today. I just thought this seemed like it happens so much when you call places anymore.
TINA: Why are you at a hotel and not home resting?
Hope everyone is doing well today. I have been gone all day but wanted to drop by for a second and say hello. BTW, it was only 57 degrees here today!!
Dianne - I was fooled too. I thought our friends were back and I was so happy. I didn't even believe his confession and jokingly assigned him to ten minutes on the naughty mat. If I had known what the "master of trickery" had really done I would have thought up a more severe punishment. I am considering expelling him from my class. Sending him to the Principal surely hasn't helped.
I did well with the scooter today although I was a little stressed by the time we had completed our shopping. I don't have good depth perception so I always think I am going to hit something. I really need Jack's help in that regard. It will be easier for him after we have a carrier attached to our Explorer. It isn't easy for him to get it up the ramp and into the car. We did enjoy the trip, however, and I do have presents and a card for him on Sunday.
We are having our first heat wave of the summer. It will hit 85F this weekend. We didn't have any day in July or August that hit higher than 80F and that happened very rarely. Actually 78F and sunny makes for pleasant days. We have had a fun summer.
I must work on my farms. See you all tomorrow. Have a great evening all owls everywhere.
Evening Owls!
Happy Birthday Heidi! I hope you have a great day!
Dianne that was funny! I wasn't quite sure where it was going to go! LOL!! Thanks for the chuckles!
