This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
The Rosie Show starts today! I'm excited and a little nervous to see how she does. I'd like the show to be like her old one, but I know it can't be. I'll have to wait and see. Anyone else going to watch?
Moaning! I don't get that network, but I will probably see it somewhere on the web. Parts anyway. I liked her old show too. I don't think that can be duplicated, even by Rosie.
Good Morning Tina, Shirley and Michael. I guess one would call you Early Owls.
Happy Thanksgiving Day Shirley. I hope you have a good one.
Tina - I don't think I can get that network either. I would love to see the show. I will see if that network is available in Canada. I will pay extra for it if it's possible. I loved the old show.
Michael - What is the newspaper clipping about? I will come back tomorrow and check for your answer.
No Austin!! YAY! So I get to stay home and prepare for Rosie!!
Tinka...the clipping is about Rosie inviting me on her show because I have luxury hair....and it being delayed because a republican bird pooped in my hair on the way to her show.....
Tina Good moaning, or good afternoon. You look lovely as usual. I don't care about the Rosie show and didn't care for her other show, either. Seems to me she would be better hosting a show for small children. That's what she likes to do....talk to children and throw those ball things into the audiance.
Michael I think Oprah is going to have her hands full with Rosie. My take on Rosie is that she is extremely emotionally needy and when that need doesn't get catered to, she goes off her trolly. I may be wrong, but that's what I think.
Hello Tina, you are looking beautiful today. I plan on checking out the Rosie show just to see what it's all about. I used to like Rosie a lot but my admiration has waned a bit. I do still admire all her philanthropic work, however.
Shirley and Tinka, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.
J/L, I am having pain in my right ankle and went to see the doc about it on Thursday. There is apparently no reason for my pain so I am attributing it to the fibromyalgia. Per the x-ray, it isn't broken, and I didn't do anything that would cause it to hurt, but it does hurt. So I am wearing the boot to stabilize it so I can walk. That's my story...
I'm beat! First time I had to do parent-teacher conferences without the hubby!!! .....the girl.....pretty good grades......and a joy and delight!!! The boy......better grades.....but could have straight A's if he'd just put some effort into it.....
The other day I was choosing artichokes to buy at the grocery store. As I was sotring through them, I got pricked by one of the thorns right in top of my right thumb knuckle. Today I see it is a bit swollen and is red and warm on the top side. I hope I didn't get that flesh eating bacteria. I'm sure I didn't but that thought keeps going through my mind.

Shirley Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a great day.
Tinka I'm glad you had such a nice day with your family yesterday. Happy Thanksgiving! Here's hoping you have a nice, relaxing day today.

lol at "goes off her trolley"....thats a good one...
I know she consider Barbara Walters a Mother figure...and fought hard with her...
I don't think Oprah will put up with anything...and I mean ANYTHING...
But you are right J/L...Ro is a very complex person and became quite a hot mess at one time....
We will see...I hope the show is good...and that Rosie has simmered down somewhat....time will tell...
I wonder if she got John McDaniels?
And she says she will still have a lot of Broadway on the show...
We'll just see how it goes....
"off her trolley" is still cracking me up....lol

I musta done something to deserve that...

Well, Michael, that happens to me all the time by you.
Goodnight everyone.
Tina Well, that sounds familiar. I think most boys don't apply themselves as well as they could at school.
SacBarb I'm so sorry to hear about the pain in your ankle. During your weekend away, were you walking on uneven ground a lot?
Michael You were probably caught wearing your cloak of invisibility. We've all worn one, at one time or another.
