DIANNE...I'll try and get to the library today and see if my toes tap!

ZONA...so, what kind of cookies are you going to bake? the suspense is killing me!

SHIRLEY...maybe your tappers don't work from being splatted on so often? But you sure look purdy!

Good Morning Shirley, Tina, Michael, Zona-My-Baby and Maureen.

Dianne - That was great. My toes didn't tap but my heart beat faster. It was beating "Christmas is coming, Christmas is coming".

As a former music teacher I was amazed at how so many people could learn the rhythm of that different version of "Deck the Halls". It is hard enough when you have 3 weeks of practice with everyone in the same place. I wish I had a dollar for every hour I spent practising that song for Christmas concerts that spread over 40 years. Thanks Dianne. It brought back such happy memories.

Zona - I am baking today too. We are making our Christmas wreaths. They are made of fruit bread, glazed with icing with a bow made from red cherries. It has been a tradition in our house for almost 50 years to have Christmas bread and tea or coffee between opening our stockings and unwrapping the rest of our presents. I am sitting with ice on my back getting ready to start. Jack with help me. He will be my gopher, the cutest little gopher you ever will see.

Maureen - You made such a lovely breakfast yesterday. I wish I had the time to make yours today. I will make up for it after Christmas I promise.

Tina - I am thinking of you tapping your toes while watching the computer. Do your children think you have "lost it"?

Tinka said...

Shirley - What song makes your feet tap?

Tinka said...

Michael - I am asking you the same question I asked Dianne? Please describe your gay apparel.

Must go. Lots to do. Have a great Sunday everyone.

This was just great! Thanks, Dianne! I love love love singing/dancing flash mobs. What fun it would be to participant in one!

Shirley Congrats on being first and prettiest today. With that little red cap on, it looks like you've joined Michael in wearing gay apparel.

Just_Lin said...

Tina Congrats on being second and the runner-up to prettiest today.

Just_Lin said...

Michael Well, that is really, really gay apparel you have on there. Are they vintage or did you have them specially made for you?

Just_Lin said...

Zona Well....how did it go today? Was the baking a success? I bet it was fun to do it with your sister.

Just_Lin said...

MO Maybe Zona can spare a few dozen cookies for you. ;)

Tinka I bet Jack is a good helper and gopher. I think that's a lovely tradition that you have.

Just_Lin said...

Bear Long time, no see. Glad you dropped in today. I agree, I think it would be a blast to participate in a flash mob. I can't sing but I can dance.

Dianne Thank you for the blog today. I didn't tap my feet but I sure did enjoy it.

I finally got a tree yesterday with the help of my grandkids. I got the lights on last night and they put ornaments on it today. I'll be rearranging them later. LOL

Hi Whabbear - What's happening?

Tinka said...

Just_Lin - You always come in later in the day and say nice things to everyone. I never seem to get back to the blog after the morning is over. I just dropped by to say "Hi" and "Thank you" Sweetie. You are doing great with your decorating.

Once the grandkids put 8 ornaments on one limb of the tree don't you hate to move them? You have to in order to make a nicely balanced tree but I always feel a little guilty - like I should be leaving the ornaments where the grandkids put them.

Just_Lin said...

Tinka Yes, I feel a little guilty but some of those ornaments really need to be moved. It seems there were favorite spots to put ornaments and least favorite spots. Now, when I turn the lights on it doesn't matter. It just looks pretty.
