We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

I had to make sure to come in here today to say how thankful I am for ya all. You guys mean so very much to me.
Dianne I know when I got the link again from you I said I'd be in the next day. That was last week 😕 But....my turkey is just now done but this is more important. To say I haven't caught up on all the comments since I was last here is......well it would take me a few days. I just read the last one and glad to here ya all are doing ok for the most part. I've been thinking of Louis and hope his back is better. ??? And you need to stop that tripping! Glad you didn't fall.
Barb I think I said before that I do my own hair, always have and I put blond streaks in. It is fun so get that purple in there and go out and impress everyone! I'm sorry to hear all you're going through with your sisters issues. Is she against going into an assisted living facility. I know there are some really nice ones but it's hard for most people to give up their home. Bless your heart for being there for her.
JL It's so funny that you wrote about Taco Bell because I was going to bring it up. Couple days ago I was thinking og you and was wishing we had been in touch when my son and wife lives in South San Francisco. Long story but......When my Munchkin and I would go over there we always went to Pacifica and he would get so excited yelling 'Yay beach tacos'! I mean really, what's better than tacos/burritos ON the beach?! And again, I love my beautiful card. Thank you dear one.
Mary How is ZOIE??? Kisses for that baby 🥰 Are you guys getting snow now? I am finally a very happy camper cause we at least are in the 60-75 degree range. Do NOT miss the heat. I hope Jim doesn't have to give up driving anytime soon. That's a tuffy, not being able to drive. Hope he's doing well and you both are staying healthy.

No good excuses but yeah we have been really really busy. For a couple months my Munchkin and I have completely redone one side of the patio. It goes from one side of the house, living room sliding door, to the other side, master bedroom sliding door. Ever since I bought this townhouse I been wanting to get the lousy wood deck out that was in front of the living room. And yeah, over the years it looked worse and worse. But I always put my mom and son's needs first and didn't make the time. Plus no one cared enough to help. Then there's Munchkin! LOL One day he says, I think we need to get that wood up and cement it and make it look nice. Bless him, he worked his bunnies off and man is it sooooo nice. I didn't pull it up but I did carry alllllll those cement animals (if you remember pictures) from the one side to the other. When it was done I carried them all back. No to mention carrying a ton of bricks back and forth. So when I wasn't working out there I was sitting real pitiful on the couch with my heating pad Lol I spend so much time out there and now I can really enjoy it. OK....I have gone on way to long....Gidget is hungry and Munchkin says it's time for turkey. Well actually he is saying it time for dressing! I'm sending lots of turkey hugs and smooches to ya all and your families too. 😘🧡🧡🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🖤🖤🖤🖤------go RAIDERS
Hi…happy thanksgiving everyone. I was nudged by Mary and rightfully so! How was today for all of you? We went to Andy and Wendy’s with Tammy and family. We took barb with us. She made a huge tray of cookies. She makes the best cookies. I snuck a few home. It had snowed a couple of inches in the mtns where they live. The roads .,curvy mtn roads…we’re icy in the shade. There was an accident that stopped the traffic for about 45 min. They put more sand down coming home but still scary in the dark. We still haven’t had any snow in the city yet. We r breaking records …which is fine with me. I don’t like the turkey they get frozen m honey baked ham. No dark meat and it doesn’t taste like turkey to me. I took two pies. Kayla and Em both brought their boyfriends. We really like them including Kayla’s new boyfriend that has two jobs! While we were there Kayla got a text that jakes brother..17..was killed last night. He and a ex policeman got into an argument and both had guns. I just hope Kayla’s doesn’t feel the need to call him. It’s a sad situation How was your dinner at your friends JL? I’ll bet nice. I’ve been listening to Christmas music for a couple of weeks. I love it until Christmas night and then I’m over it. Guess what? I finished my cards last night. They’re going in the mail tmrw. It took me a long time this year to do, them. I had to pick out the right card for person, write a little something, etc. do you have yours done yet?
Mary, have us had any snow yet? It’s been in the mid 60’s here during the day. Louis went to shoulder dr this week as it’s also hurting him bad. That dr practices out of an ortho hospital…so plenty of beds. They did louis would be a long wait for back surgery just to get a bed. They want him to go ahead with the shoulder first. I feel bad as he’s very unsteady and in so much pain with the back. He’s supposed to see back dr again Monday but he hasn’t been able yo get his ct scan and full body X-ray so may have to reschedule.
Barb..,how’s your sister doing? Did you find out about those withdrawals? I hope she gets that money back. These scams are terrible. Did u take dinner to her today? You r a great sister. Do you have your cards done now? My friend pats granddaughter is still wrapping for me. I have a lot. We finally have a small hoa brunch to go to this year. We have to,take $5 gifts. I went to lunch with my niece and the baby that is now a year and a half. Her brother is due the end of Dec. Lydia is so darn cute. She can say please,thank u and no very well you ask her where is the baby band she lifts her tummy to show you. She’s a. Use little girl though..she doesn’t like the high chair for very long!
Seaside and Beverly , love seeing both of you in the nest. . Try and come by more often…both of you. Seaside, your deck sounds great. That’s nice that u enjoy sitting out there. Sounds like Munchkin was a huge help. Bev what did u di for thanksgiving?
Everyone have their shopping done? well, time for bed for this girl. Btw, my colon appt for Dec 1 has been changed to Dec 28 with a pa. It’s ridiculous to get into these drs Ok night
Seaside, god seeing you here again! I got your card and to Doxie towel today. What a sweet surprise! You have spoiled us :) I would love to have your temps! Tonight we are getting our second snow storm. The snow has barely melted from this weekend! Zoie is doing fine. She has cataracts and a bit grouchy lol!She pounces on Jim if he comes up to her while she is napping. I think it startles her and may not recognize him right away. I bet your patio looks great! Good for your Munchkin! Rest those muscles! Jim and Matthew along with one of Jim's sons, built me an awesome wrap-around patio. The down side is shoveling all the snow on it!
Dianne, We got about 3" of snow last week end and expecting the same overnight. It's not Matthew's favorite time of the year to drive a school bus.He is an excellent driver, but I still worry when the roads are bad.
My sis Lena cracks me up! Remember a couple years ago, I suggested that she, Jaimie and Raquel not buy us anything as we really didn't need anything? I thought they could use the extra money from not buying. I sure was chastised for it! Well guess who made the same suggestion yesterday? Yup, Lena. Well, it has been a weird year. Money has been tight for them. Lena has been trying to get out of the nursing work. She quit to help Raquel with Myla to save them some money. Lena is now working at Menard's. She seems to really like it. I will probably send them gift cards anyway and I was given permission to buy Myla something LOL! this year?
JustLin, I LOL! @ leaves turning to soil!. We live on 6 acres with many trees. There is no way we could rake them all! There is a red Maple close to the house that sheds huge leaves. One year I didn't rake them up and by spring, there was a nasty mess to clean up! My sis Janie was just a baby when they took her. They treated her very well. They were very religious was raised quite strict. I have always had a problem with any religion that teaches you to fear God and anything not "God related". Just my opinion. We weren't allowed to go to the movies, wear make-up, date,or shorts. My sis Christina and I would sneak out to go to school dances. Mom always new. Dad would work at his shop 7 days a week. After supper he would go back and stay until about 10:30, so it was easy to get away lol!. My sis Lena was a late baby and was allowed to do anything she wanted. Such is life lol!
