It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Hope all you Hooters have a great day. Today is Mr. Goldie's B-day, so I am taking him out to dinner, and we are going to the apple orchard and New Glarus for Octoberfest. Should be a fun day.

Michael Your avatar isn't working on a couple of different levels. What H stood for is so reprehensible that it's very difficult to successfully find a way to make fun of him. This isn't one of them. Implying that he's gay is like saying you think being gay is something to make fun of....kwim?
As for your comment to MO.....Don't be an ass. Put on your big boy pants and act like a gentleman.
Michael I think you are channeling DeeDee, again. You are also entitled to your opinion. In case there's any doubt, here is mine:
1. The avatar isn't funny.
2. On the face of it, there is nothing wrong with your comment. However, I think you are bright and know that the avatar would be particularly distasteful to Maureen and that you were trying to provoke her with your comment.
I had no way of knowing that Maureen would comment today....besides Hitler isn't any more offensive to one decent person that another... Nazi humor is somewhat popular....There is a rather famous Jew...Mel Brooks..just to name one.....who has made a lot of people laugh using Hitler and the Nazis as characters...playing Hitler himself...
If you watch network television...say...the Oscars for example...2 years ago Steve Martin stole the show with a joke about the Jewish members of the audience...which was most of them. So unless a person just has a chip on their shoulder....that doesn't hold water.
But if I tried to keep a list of whom here...is mad at whom..why...and for what...and who might be offended by this or that...who is just a bitch in general...how long they have been mad or why they haven't been or have been posting....that would be one thick book and frankly more trouble than it is worth...
So with all the christian love I have in my heart...suck it!

We are just hanging out at home tonight and didn't even go to eat. I slept late and it is a boring/okay day. Tomorrow we go to a friend's football party and that is early in the AM!!
