This was sent to me by a co-worker and I knew some of you would enjoy it.
Last week, I took my grand-children to a restaurant.
My six-year-old grand-son asked if he could say grace.
As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good, God is great. Thank you for the
food, and I would even thank you more if Nana gets us ice cream for dessert. And
liberty and justice for all! Amen!"
Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark,
"That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray.
Asking God for ice cream! Why, I never!"
Hearing this, my grand-son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I do it wrong? Is
God mad at me?"
As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job, and God was
certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table.
He winked at my grand-son and said, "I happen to know that God thought that was
a great prayer."
"Really?" my grand-son asked.
"Cross my heart," the man replied.
Then, in a theatrical whisper, he added (indicating the woman whose remark had
started this whole thing), "Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little
ice cream is good for the soul sometimes."
Naturally, I bought my grand-children ice cream at the end of the meal. My
grand-son stared at his for a moment, and then did something I will remember the
rest of my life.
He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front
of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this is for you. Shove it up
your ass you grouchy old bitch! "

ROFLAMO!! I have seen that story 100 times but NEVER with that ending!!
Hilarious....couldn't have said it better myself!!!
actually I was ROFLMAO...
Hi TINA, MICHAEL AND SHIRLEY. How are you all feeling today? Tina, I hope you are better than yesterday. That crown must be too heavy for your head.
Well, I woke up to 14" of snow and I am not happy about it. I had some plans today and now since it is still snowing....I had to cancel. They are saying the roads are terrible. I drove home in it last night and was very scared not being able to see where I was driving. I guess being retired has me out of the habit of driving in the blizzards (and/or I'm just plain getting old).
SHIRLEY, I didn't see that punch line coming on that story. I thought the little guy was being so sweet to the lady..ha! fooled me.
Tina You're even prettier with your new crown. I hope you're feeling better.
Shirley Thanks for the blog. I was surprised at the ending.
Michael Is that you playing Santa?
Dianne I'm glad you stayed home and stayed safe. I was out today and was too annoyed to get any real shopping done and I don't have to deal with blizzards. I had to get some blood drawn and manaaged that but the parking was horrible as far as shopping for presents. Plus, I'm really screwed because I need a couple more gifts and several stocking stuffers and I don't have any ideas in mind at all. Agh!
Lol @ Tina's crown being to heavy for her head.
SHIRLEY...I want some ice cream now, but not the way the kid intended it!!
JUST LIN...maybe we can give you some gift ideas...
DIANNE...glad you stayed hunkered down. I sure would have!
Di~ I had no idea it even snowed here...most of it was gone by the time I got up~
Just got back from 7 1/2 hrs of shopping....it was fun...even went to the mall...that I could have done without...but we got some nice wine glasses for the hubby~
Shirley~ THANK YOU for sending the blag.....you SAVED me today~ (and I loved the ending!)
