This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
This woman is fantastic and really shows what a poor decision Susan G. Komen made when they tried to defund Planned Parenthood. She is brave and real and I think she is my new hero!

great testimony....
most of the money raised by Komen pays administrative cost anyway...they are a self feeding organization....
very tiny % actually goes to breast cancer research...
Good Morning Michael - Congrats on being first. I am not sure if I found out who was in your avatar yesterday but who is it today? I am going to watch Whitney Huston funeral now but I will check back later.
Michael - I watched all of the funeral. Like you I was going to turn it off if that gospel music lasted much longer. After that I found it very inspiring. I loved Kevin and Clive's speeches. I thought it was very good.
Must get ready for Jack's return from Vancouver. Talk to you later.
LYNN: I have to admit..I'm squeamish..so I didn't watch the video..but I did listen to it..and I think that's what's important. Boy..she's a very tough and very brave woman. I love the way she delivered her message..with conviction and passion..sometimes that's the only way to get people to listen.
MICHAEL: Unfortunately I have been cynical about charities since what happened with the Red Cross after 9/11..and that makes me sad.
SHIRLEY: I hope you still have your Hazmat suit..I've got *cough cough* bronchitis again..I'm trying hard not to hack in your direction.. ;D
Waving HI to TINKA and J/LIN!
Randy is making dinner because I don't feel good and he just informed me..loudly..that it's ready..so I better get going..
Lynn, This woman is amazing. She is very passionate about her message and I admire that. Thanks for sharing the vid with us. I hope you're having a great time at the beach.
I dozed most of the day and didn't watch any of the funeral. I just didn't have the energy to watch all that.
Waving to all the Owls. I hope everyone had a good day. xoxo
