A group of midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy 22nd Company are going viral in a new video to Korean rapper Psy's hit "Gangnam Style".
The Baltimore Sun writes: The mids call it a "spirit spot." It's indeed spirited.The
guys are shaking it down all over the Academy grounds and in various
campus buildings. They're dancing at the water in Annapolis. They're
dancing in a bathroom stall. They're dancing at a urinal line.And this dancing? It's fairly, um, exuberant. Quite a bit of hip thrusting.

Michael, Yes, indeedy, those guys exude spirit. Thanks so much for the early morning eye candy. Nothing like a man in uniform. This song certainly has taken the world by a storm. I wonder if Psy is going to be one of those one hit wonders like we had so many of in the 60s.

My knee is acting up worse since yesterday. It's a nuisance as I have a lot of errands---important ones like hair and nails etc.,this week. I must have been jumping up and down too hard watching the Bronco game (yea right).

Dianne I think your tooth fairy paid me a visit. I have a tooth that the filling is falling out and now one of my front restored teeth, tooths? has broken off. Made an appt. but can't get in until Thursday morning. Oh yeah, Thursday morning at 7:45 am. sigh

Dianne, contrary to what J/L said, I know it wasn't extra stress from watching that game that set your knee off. That game was only stressful for us Raider fans.

I heard from Michael's sister today. The nurse thinks the cancer has spread to his brain. He says he's not in any pain, but he's slurring his words and hardly eating at all. Sleeps mostly. Please keep the whole family in your prayers~
My prayers go out to Michael and his family. I pray he doesn't suffer too terribly. So sad
The vid was such fun to watch! And so easy on the eyes! Nothing like a man (or a whole gaggle of them)in uniform! I wonder what the Navy thought about it!

Today would have been Joanne's 81st birthday
I know I haven't been much of a contributor to the blog in a long while but I do read it from time to time and I just want to send my good thoughts to Michael, and everyone else too.

It has been a long process, but we are almost (??) done. Next we will start on her stuff, as she will have to move to a smaller apartment.

MO It's so good of you to help Sharon with all that stuff. I know it isn't easy. I just returned from visiting my brother and we went through some of Mom's stuff. He still hasn't actually gotten rid of anything although he has done some clearing out of closets and boxing stuff up. It's harder for him to let go.
