This past November, hubby and I ate at Olive Garden for our anniversary. During our delightful dinner, hubby pointed to a painting on the wall and said that it has always been his favorite one. I turned to look at it and it was the Mona Lisa. As soon as I looked at it my nose crinkled up and I had a ugly look on my face. Actually, I didn't even know I made that kind of face until my husband told me. My hubby asked why I made that kind of face. I stood their in silence for a moment, because the picture itself looked fine to me.
But why did I crinkle my nose?
I thought about it and thought about it.......
Then it came back in flash!
April of 1988, I went to Paris, France with the French Club from high school. I wasn't in the French Club, but the school still let me go. It was my graduation present from my parents. My mom highly encouraged me to go, because she said I may never get a chance like that again. Boy was she right!
During the Paris trip we went to the Louvre in Paris to see famous art. I really wasn't to excited about this trip, because I really didn't know that much about art. I secretly wanted to go back to the Wendy's fast food joint that served wine with their cheeseburgers. :) However, I knew that this Louvre must be important and that I better pay attention.
Our guide was very excited about us seeing the Mona Lisa. It was a very busy day when we went and we were crammed in front of the painting like sardines. I couldn't move, but I was a little excited. I could feel everyone's excitement and I could hear all the squeals of pleasure of people looking at the picture. Now I was excited to see it. As soon as my eyes found the picture........
My eyes started to water from the smell of rotten eggs. The elderly man in front of me tooted really loud and I thought I was going to puke. I couldn't move, because we were shoulder to shoulder. It was awful!
So that is why I crinkle my nose everytime I look at the Mona Lisa.
BTW, besides the whole Mona Lisa incident the rest of my trip was wonderful. I'm so glad and grateful that my parents let me go.
Was there ever a moment in your life that you really got excited about it and then it fizzled?

ITEACH - Interesting blog. I could just picture you and the rotten eggs. Are you sure TINA wasn't in the vacinity? She has had problems with eggs in the past!!! I think this past Christmas was kinda like that for me. I really had made up my mind that I was going to pick and choose and really enjoy the holiday this year. It was really a letdown when I discovered that my hubby neglected to get me a gift....not even a card. WTF!!! Well, we had a little chat on Friday and I let him know how much he had hurt my feelings. Long story short he totally redeemed himself on Saturday. He surprised me with a beautiful sterling silver butterfly necklace with diamond accents!!! He apologized because it was never his intent to hurt my feelings.
TURTLE - Did you get that laundry done? Can't wait til tomorrow!!!
Off to the store for me. I have to get ingredients for potato salad!!
Good morning IBB!!
Iteach... great blog... isn't it funny how we associate things...

good morning jodi, kgrl, and ibb~
morning Tina!!!
10 just because!!!
lol iteach.....it took me a minute to think of something.....it's really hard to ruin Europe for me.....but Talledega, Alabama is my favorite racetrack.....well it was, until I went there with the hubby~ His aunt called and invited us to go with her and her husband. I was so excited....you have no idea....it was like a dream (i know....shut up!)....but when we got there, I went straight away to rent a scanner and headset....all I heard was, "What do we need that for?" "Why are you wasting money on that?" OMG!!!! SO I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU!!!!! Hubby complained the whole time we were there and to this day, tells people "his version" of visiting that racetrack! RUINED!!!!
Also.....when I was a teenager, I love The Magic Pan. It was a restaurant that served crepes. I L-O-V-E-D that restaurant. So when I started dating THE Mr, I excitedly took him there. He didn't like it and thought it was overpriced.....you see, the shit had already been to Europe and knew what a crepe was really supposed to taste like......well, what the fuck ever!!!! RUINED!!!!
iteach....it's a wonder I take that man anywhere! :)~ btw....they have moved the Mona Lisa to a huge room so you don't have to stand there all crammed like we used to.....you can now move away from the fart! :D

Ok a little more awake now!
Face it the first time you have sex it is exciting and the anticipation drives you crazy and then the big let down! Especially for women! LOL
Sorry that is what popped into mind as soon as I read "Was there ever a moment in your life that you really got excited about it and then it fizzled?" LOL
See what happens when I comment before two cups of coffee!!!
Iteach your story cracked my up! I did not see the gas coming either while reading it!
Good morning!
Congrats on first today Jodi!
Hi Kgirl, IBB, Tina, Lynn and Carol.
Iteach your blog made me laugh, I don't think I will ever look at the Mona Lisa the same!
The only thing I can think of quick is when I was 8 years old. We moved to California, and I was SOOOO excited to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
Well, we drove up to the bridge and crossed it, I was SOOOOO disappointed, because the bridge was NOT gold, it is orange!!
My mom still laughs about that to this day.
Gotta get to work, hope everyone has a nice day today!
Now that I have stopped laughing maybe I can type! Good Morning JODI, TURTLE, IBB, TINA, LYNN & CAROL.
ITEACH Will I or anyone else whoread your blog today look at the Mona Lisa in the same way again, I don't think so. Forevermore she will have a fart cloud aura hanging over her. :) At the moment any experiences I may have had are not coming to me.
TINA, You really should be a comedy writer. You are such a natural!
TURTLE, have you thawed out yet?
CAROL & IBB, have a great day at work.
LYNN, I hope things have perked up since then. :)
JODI, I have a feeling that your husband won't forget that important chat next time.
Congrats on first, Jodi! I'm glad your hubby redeemed himself! Sounds like a lovely gift.
iteach, your blog cracked me up! Are you sure it wasn't Mona Lisa who tooted? She does have that funny look on her face ....
LynnD, you are so funny that I think I laugh as soon as I see your name now--I know something funny is about to be said! LOL
Good morning Turtle, IBB, Tina and Carol!
Hi to EBJ, you also have a great day a work.
LYNN you are not alone!
whoread-a typo, or was it:)
Good morning EBJ and Lani!
iteach, I'll have to think about what I got excited about and then it fizzled out. I think sometimes with me I get so excited with anticipation about things that it often seems the anticipation was the best part! LOL
SHIRLEY, are you feeling poopy, or are you just busy? I miss you.
SANDIE, how are you feeling today?
Morning Everyone!
Iteach..I really did not see where this was going...What a hoot ( or toot, in this case). Great blog!!
Lynndeeeee....I KNEW someone was going to go there...but I was betting on Tina!
My first experience with disappointment occurred when I was about 10 or 11. I had been looking forward to Halloween for weeks. I had put a lot of thought and effort into my costume. I was going to dress up as a Gypsy. I had a kerchief for my head, a flouncy peasant skirt and blouse, black ballet shoes and tons of my Mothers jewelry (including hoop earrings that pinched like hell). We went to the same houses every year and much ado was made over our costumes. After the trick or treating was done, we gathered at one of the neighborhood houses and had a little party before we went home. After anticipating the evenings events all day in school, I rushed home, got myself ready, met up with the other kids, started trick or treating and was BORED. I wasn't having fun and had no idea why. By the time I went home that evening, I was near tears. It took my Mother quite a while to learn what the matter was. When she finally determined what was wrong, she explained that I was growing up and that I would start to enjoy different things than I did when I was younger. She made me feel better even though I didn't quite understand what she meant. I do understand now, but once in a while I think about that unabashed feeling of anticipation and wish I could get it back.
Hey Lani! I feel good, although not as energetic as yesterday. But, the doctor told me I would feel good, then feel not as good for a few days, then feel good again. None of it makes any sense to me but oh well, at least I'm here! Thanks for asking!
Scirish, that was such a sweet story! Your mom sounds like such a good mom.
Hey Bebbi! Have fun at your Mom's--see you when you get back!
Jodi...congrats on first!
Jodi and Tina....I woulda killed him!!
EBJ...I had that experience with the Mississippi River. I expected it to be this great roaring, rushing river but where we crossed it, it was just this slow moving, muddy river. I couldn't figure out why people wrote songs about it. :-)
The only thing that comes to mind is when I was in my early twenties I was disappointed when my mother opened a gift I gave her for Christmas. I have always been excited about giving someone a gift, but this time I was really excited, as my mother loved to listen to music and I bought her a record player. Not a stereo, but the old fashion kind that looked like a suitcase. Well, everyday I would say to her, I can't wait for you to see your gift, over and over again. When she opened it I could tell she appreciated it, but she didn't appear to be very excited. I was very disappointed. I guess I asked for it with the big build up.
Hi to BEBBI. You are a good daughter to help your mom.
SANDIE, I am glad your treatment is coming along as the doctor expected.
SCIRISH, Isn't the enthusiasm we have in childhood wonderful. I think we aren't supposed to let go of it as we get older, but somehow it seems to happen. It is also amazing some of the events that stick with us from childhood. What a wonderful mother to sit down with you and talk with you about life, and the probable reason you felt as you did. Talking with our children makes all the difference in the world as they are growing up.
I'll see you all later. Everyone have a great day.
Congrats on 1st Jodi! You are now tied with Goldie at 15.
Good morning/afternoon Kahonugrl, IBB, Tina, Lynn D, Carol, EBJ, Lani, Sandie, Bebbi, and Scirish.
Iteach I know there have been movies that I have been excited to see and then disappointed after seeing them.
Lani I had a similar situation happen with my mum one Christmas. I had asked her to write down what she wanted or needed. I had extra money that year from a savings bond. When I got the list I went out and bought everything...slippers, pots and pans, tea kettle, boots, electric knife. There were other things but I can't remember them all, it was over 20 years ago. I was so excited cause mum's pile under the tree (which was usually the smallest) was huge, but the more she unwrapped the angrier she became, saying I had wasted my money and I had better have the reciets cause it was all going back. Needless to say I never did that again.
Good Day All! Back home after a day of whale watching, and I'm glad I'm NOT at the ocean today. I see on The Weather Channel that the road home along the Siuslaw River is starting to flood. Our high today is s'posed to be 47. At 9a.m. it's already 55*, raining, 30mph wind with 50 mph gusts. THIS is the 'real' December in the PNW.
My butt never left my chair at the computer.
Oh SHIRLEY, that is so absolutely horrible. I feel the devastation. How crushing!!! What a sweet and loving Christmas you offered to your mum. No wonder you aren't real thrilled with Christmas. I am sitting here wishing I could do or say something to make it better for you.
BON, will your house be okay?
Shirley...I think our Mothers might be related...Mine ALWAYS tells me I spent too much money and I should take things back...I just ignore her...it's become a tradition.
Lani~~Yep, I'm fine here. Just went out to put patio planters on top of the glass patio table before it became a frisbee!
Iteach~~After a lifetime of fantasizing about 'Paradise', my dream was always a romantic Hawaiian vacation. In October of 1978, I was able to realize the dream! I lived in Seattle, S.O. lived in San Francisco (Walnut Creek, actually). Several days at the Sheraton Waikiki, then an even more romantic few days at the Waiohai on Poipu Beach, Kauai.
Long story short, it was romantic, BUT...upon arrival, the cabbie's first words--as we had him stop enroute so we could buy umbrellas--were "It was BEAUTIFUL yesterday!" It POURED non-stop every day, police in hip-boots and slickers directed traffic at flooded intersections of Waikiki, Halloween trick-or-treating for the locals was officially postponed due to flooding dangers.
On Kauai, we actually saw a few 15-minute sunbreaks...until departure day, when there was once again sunshine in Paradise. Sadly, we didn't make it back before Hurricane Iwa totally destroyed the place in 1982. Anything that WAS left was taken by Hurricane Iniki in '92. :~(
Bon, don't blow away!!
Shirley, you poor dear. Moms can say the wrong things sometimes. I know I do. I'm sure she was just more worried about your financial situation and wasn't thinking about your feelings so much.
Okay, all three of my kids are still asleep at 12:45. I've been calling them and still they snore. I'm thinking about setting off the alarm system.
Hodi! Hey, congrats on #1 today! I'm glad you got your hubby "educated". :)
BonO I hope your home is out of harm's way.
Shirley It is extremely hard for some people to accept any signs of affection and I am thinking that is probably true of your mum. It probably goes back to how she was raised. I'm really sorry that she wasn't able to enjoy your sweet gesture.
iteach Great blog today! That is so funny! Now I will think of Mona Lisa passing gas every time I see her. LOL I know I have been let down before but I can't think of any right now. I probably blocked it out. LOL
Tina I used to go to the Magic Pan in San Mateo all the time! Absolutely loved it! It's long gone now. :(
Wow Shirley, that would have hurt my feelings very much. I can't believe she got mad about it. What a kind and thoughtful thing for you to do.
Going to Mom's at 2pm, so I ran some errands, took down some Christmas decorations and popped back in here for a few minutes.
SHIRLEY, I think what J/L says about some ppl not being able to accept gifts is true. My mom was the same way, as in my MIL. Paul and I just give my MIL a box of chocolates or something small now because she always says she doesn't want or need anything and hates to see us waste money. She won't even let us take her out to eat when we visit her. Instead she insists on cooking.
What about the gift recipient who tells you how awful your gift choice was? Hubby found a really cool toy for our 5yo grandson after reading many good reviews about it on amazon (many from parents/grandparents of 4-5 year olds).
He called his daughter on Christmas day to let her know we had ordered a plethora of batteries being shipped separately, only to be told it had too many small parts (it has 4 pieces, to be exact) so she won't let him play with it. Paul did not say so, but he had to be crushed. My hubby puts a lot of thought into the gifts he gives and all are from his heart.
Anyway, congrats to:
JODI #1
K-GIRL #2
IBB #3
Great blog ITEACH, I may never look at Mona Lisa the same again, lol!
BON'O, glad you're inside staying dry and not trying to fly in those gusty winds!
Caryn~~Cool to see you found your voice and are no longer 'outatuune' :-) btw, did you tell us before why it was "tuUne"?? Feel SO bad for Paul, as he does seem to be ALL heart and a thoughtful soul.
Sandie, J/L~~Half hour after my '55* and blowing away' post, it was sunny and 44*~~If you don't like Oregon weather, just wait a minute or two!
outatuune I'm sorry YH's daughter reacted that way. I know someone like that and, for her, the real issue is that she doesn't want to pick up after anything that has parts. It's very unfortunate for her child as it eliminates a lot of creativity, IMHO.
SacBarb~~AREA 51: I wondered why I got the email about your Borders closing. Apparently, I wasn't the only one wondering, as yesterday I got the following:
"We are sorry; the email you received earlier was intended only for Borders customers who shop in our Sacramento store. It has been brought to our attention that some other customers may have received this email in error. To clarify, the 40% off discount is only valid in the Borders Sacramento store at 4750 Natomas Blvd. We apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused.
Sincerely, The Borders Team
BUT, I do wonder if they're all about to go down, as today's email is for 30% off on ALL cd's, DVDs, BluRay through January 4th--No exceptions, no limit, no returns (only a few stores in a few states not included)!
Going shopping.....
BON*BON - lol @ if you don't like the weather, just stick around a few minutes!!! WOW!! Sounds like Mother Nature is quite fickle by you!!
SHIRLEY - So sorry your Mum was like that. My Dad always says not to buy him anything, but I usually ignore him and this year I got him 2 gift cards. One for a meat market/deli in our town and the other for Kwik Trip!! He really doesn't "need" anything, but keeping him fed is a good thing!!
CARYN - I'm sorry Paul's daughter reacted that way to the gift. I remember the days of "many" parts, but with this one only having 4, I don't know what she is talking about!!!
I just realized that my ass was getting pretty frozen sitting on Frosty's lap....:O)
hmmmmmm.....can you smell the eggs? I did NOT burn them, they are for the POTATO SALAD!!!
50!!!
OMG LynnD~ had i gone back that far.....i would have written the same thing.....was there crying involved? :(
all your stories are so good/sad~
Lani~ thanks~ :D
Jodi....that looks like a penis taking off.....maybe i should enlarge it to see what it really is~
wow.....yours doesn't enlarge! :)~
Just a quick fly-by. Our power may go out at anytime again. We don't dare leave our 'puters on too long for fear of damage from possible power surges.
I did read the main page posts. Wow I loved them all Carol You Christmas
post was great!
Tina, I love Ricky Martin., and "Los Manianitas"!
iteachI got a kick out of your story. Were you surprised how small her picture was? I loved it!
I better git, the wind is really picking up!
Happy New Year in case I can't get back...
KGIRL, I almost forgot OMG! You have the most beautiful voice! I can't think of anyway you could possibly top that unless you add a dance video lol!
I would love to hear you sing Karaoke! Great job!!
Bon'O, so glad you didn't blow away! The weather here today is so pretty--66, slight breeze, sunny skies. I'm actually about to go out back and sweep and clean the pool filters.
Caryn, I love the way you spell your name!
Jodi, my Mom is making potato salad today, too! She said Dad had a craving for it. I'm going to make sure I pop over there later. ;)
Mary/mi, be careful! Hope it doesn't get too bad out there!
TINA - Of course you would say that....and lol @ it doesn't enlarge!!!
BON'O, I stole outatuune from hubby -- it was his old AIM name. When we met, he was dating a few ladies and known as intuUne. When we decided to become that word that means only dating each other (blast this feeble brain of mine!), he changed his screen name to outatuune. I decided if I'm going to be making big changes in my life this year, I'd start with my name...it's easier than avoiding chocolate, lol!
J/L & Jodi re: my stepdaughter's reaction to our gifts to her son...it is what it is. The saddest part is the boy is the one who loses. No telling what he's gonna do with the 3,756-pack of AA batteries we sent him.
Hmmmm, Jodi's popping her cork a little early...looks like Goldie has been a bad influence on our innocent Jodi-girl, lol!
Sandie, I was christened with that spelling and hated it when I was a kid because teachers were sure it was mispelled.
I had a PE teacher who, from 8th through 10th grade, called me Carolyn even though I corrected her for the first couple of weeks of every year. Eventually I just gave up and became Carolyn in PE.
It came in handy at times cuz I sucked at sports. So whenever someone was talking about that Carolyn girl striking out in softball or Carolyn losing the team relay race, nobody else knew it was me.
In all my other classes I started spelling my name "Karen" on my papers and would you believe I never had a single teacher question me? A-mazing!
CARYN - My uncles ex was spelled Caren....so we always called her "Caren with a C" because my Mom's youngest sister's name was Karen with a K!! My mil always caught heck because she spells her name with a y, too....Gayle.
I love my new bed.
I love my new bed.
I love my new bed.
I love my new bed.
If I say seventy more time I think I will beleive it. :)
I'm glad you all enjoyed my Mona Lisa story! :)
We had a great time at our hotel. It felt good to get away. I came back with a lot more energy.
Caryn, I would be blessed, if my children had a toy with less then 10 parts! :)
I thought of something else I didn't expect was childbirth.
I went to all the classes, I read all the books.
I honestly thought I wouldn't need any drugs.
I really thought I could do it all naturally and it would be a beautiful event.
Boy was I wrong again!
It hurt like hell and I pushed for three hours straight.
My doctor was on vacation, so I yelled at the fill-in doctor.
Then during the three hour pushing marathon I grabbed the nurses's hand. However, it wasn't her hand, it was her purple bra strap. I pulled that thing so hard, that I almost pulled her whole bra off.
Finally, they got him out with a vacuum.
ITEACH - Holy crap!!! Sounds like the time I had with my oldest boy. Pushed for over 3 hours, and the nurse literally had to strattle me and yell in my face!!! The vacuum didn't work, so they had to pull him out with the forceps. Or salad tongs like we like to tease Tim!!! :P
ITEACH - And this was after having a c-section with my first. I had the option of having another c-section, but felt like I had somehow missed out on the amazing experience of natural childbirth. What the hell was I thinking?!!?
68
69!!!
That was in honor of my amazing HO meeting tomorrow!!!
Iteach: That was an interesting blog! I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what event ranks as the biggest disappointment, but not coming up with anything earth-shaking.
LOL! I remember as a little kid trying "Howard Johnson's Cola" for the first time. This was actually the first time I'd ever had anything but Coke, and I remember being all excited at trying a whole new soft drink. My disappointment when it turned out to taste just like Coke was profound!
I'm feeling a little sad right now. I just found out that my Dad's sister, my Aunt Helen, died yesterday. She was one of my favorite relatives.
Bear I'm so sorry for you loss.
WHABBY - So sorry about your Aunt. Big (((HUGS))) to you!!!
Hi Hooters!!
Just wanted to stop and say hi.
Have not had 2 minutes to myself since the babies got here. AM NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH!!
They leave in the morning, so we are babysitting while mom and dad are at dinner and a movie. And they think we are doing them a favor?? HA- we love every minute of it!!
Talk to you guys later- no time to read, just flying by to tell you I was still alive if anyone missed me!
See you tomorrow Kgirl and Jodi!!
75!
Bear - so sorry about your Aunt!
Caryn, I always went by Sandy until college, when I decided it would be cooler to spell it Sandie. My real name is Sandra so I figured I could spell my nickname any way I wanted. Now it's a pain because it's always spelled wrong. My sister, Bonnie, changed her spelling to Bonni in high school. I guess we were both weird! LOL
I was actually supposed to be named Karen but Mom's SIL had her baby first and took the name!
iteach, so glad you had a good time! You really love your new bed! :)
Whabby, I'm so sorry about your Aunt Helen. My prayers go out to you and your family.
I decided late in the day to clean out my closet. Now I have clothes all over the bed, dresser drawers hanging open and a huge mess. And I'm too tired to finish. Uh oh.
Whabbear, I'm so sorry about your Aunt. :(
SPECIAL NOTE FROM TINK:
Tink asked me to post for her to let everyone know she has no phone service (other than cell) and no internet. The phone lines are down due to bad wind. She wanted me to tell everyone "hi" and that she is okay and will be back tomorrow.
Tonight is Play-doh night at our house.
I am actually looking forward to it.
The news is soooooo depressing with gruesome new war pictures and sad retail sales that rolling some play-doh around might make the world look a little better.
Thank you Dianne!
BEAR: I am very sorry about the loss of your Aunt. Sending good thoughts out to you and your family.
My two granddaughters had their tonsils and adnoids out today...one right after the other. It is so different than when I had this done...a million years ago. We had to be there at 9:15 and they were both on their way home by noon. They are not feeling well and one of them is throwing up but they came through it just fine. I have gone home as my sil will be home soon and the girls are mostly sleeping on meds. I thought they could see how the night goes and if I am needed, I will go back tomorrow. I am just flying by really quick as I am now on my way to the airport to pick up my husband. The last I heard from him was that his flight was delayed 1/2 hour in Chicago.
P.S. I am still mad at the Broncos!
Hope you are all doing great today.
Dianne, I'm still mad at the Bears!
Diane, thanks for the news about Tinka!
I hope your granddaughters recover quickly. I remember the first couple of days not being so great but then they snap right back as kids do!
Welcome home to Mr. D!
iteach, there's nothing like play-doh to make you feel better! I just love the smell!
OMG, maybe loving the smell is one of those weird anemic pica things. Good thing I'm not there, iteach. I might make a little play-doh pizza and then eat it!
whabby, I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt Helen. Sending hugs to you and your family.
Dear Bear~~Warm thoughts to you, and to your dad.
Caryn~~Thanks for sharing the back-story!
Iteach~~YAY for family get-aways and Play-Doh fun! We used to make our own Play-Doh. The texture/colors were perfect, but I missed that Play-Doh smell.:~)
Sandie~~Are you sure you're not in my bedroom? I'm doing the same thing...and with the same result!
Damn, this world is a mess! I just switched off the news...will it EVER end?
MEK~~On a lighter note...thought of you at Costco today. I walked in and the bank of 60 or so giant flat-screens of various sizes were all showing Tiger Woods! I'd almost forgotten how much I miss that face. Think he'll make the Accenture in Tucson in late February?
Hey gang!
Whabby I am very sorry about your Aunt. Sending your family my condolences.
Bon the weather here today is back to normal also. We had clearing and the wind and sideways rain and then sunshine and the hail and then rain and wind again! I tell you it is a bitch trying to decide what to wear.
Iteach and Bon I am not turning on the news it is to depressing! Just can't do it.
Mr. Lynn D and I just got home. We went to see the Benjamin Button movie. It was pretty good but take a hanky! Great CGI done on this one. It was very seamlessly done.
Hope everyone is having a great evening.
Oh and Tina no tears, more of what the fu*k this is it??? No I did not get my first orgasm. It was such a disappointment. Yes J/L it did get better with time. TMI? I could go into more detail but it is just depressing!
So LynnD~ where were you? what did you use? who were you with? and what is an orgasm? :)~
oh my hell~ The Mr just called me and wanted to know when someone from MY family was going to pick them up at his mom's house and take them to my mom's house! The parents live about 30 minutes apart (w/o traffic!) WTF!!!! Why can't his mom take them? Why does my family have to do the driving...he does this every freaking time! AND I'M NOT EVEN THERE!!!! He hung up on me cuz i told him to take a cab!!! :D
Bear~ I'm so sorry about your aunt~ I love the name Helen~
Tina:
If you leave now, you can be there in several hundred hrs, he will just have to wait for you!
:O)
Caryn:
I am so glad you are you! :O)
I just saw a bulletin posted from Barbwa about Donna (hart) it seems her dad took a turn for the worse, the last e-mail I got from her she said her dad was doing better...
This type of surgery is so up and down, I will continue to send her good wishes..
I read every comment and so enjoyed everyone's stories. Especially LynnD's and I have to say, I feel the same.. the first time.. What a let down...
Dianne:
Thanks for letting us know about Tinka, I will be looking forward to her posting tomorrow...
JodiHo!
Enjoy tomorrow.. Fun!
And I have never been to Madison before, so it sure was fun taking the ride with ya! :O)
Whabby my dear bear, I am very sorry for your loss. ♥♥♥
hmmmmm~
100~
carol~ fucking hell no.....if i'm driving somewhere....it sure as hell ain't CA!~ :)~
Iteach:
Glad your hotel was fun, and the play doh nite sounds fantastic. I used to love playing play doh with my nephews, we used to build all sort of things. I had to keep watching Vincent tho, cause he liked to eat it.. :O)
