The other day here on the blog, we were chatting about beautiful areas in where we all live. Sedona was mentioned, as Zona said her and Mr. Zona go there often. I have heard of its beauty and sent many clients to Sedona on their way to the Grand Canyon. Sedona is about 2 hours from Phoenix and 2 hours from Grand Canyon, so its a great in between stop. Many clients have thanked me for the suggestion as they loved it. The other day Zona sent me these pictures that Mr. Zona took on one of their visits to Sedona.
Its beauty is evident in these pictures.
Totally takes your breathe away. I love these pictures and am happy to share with all of you.

Those pictures are gorgeous! I have been to Arizona about 8 times and I have never been there!
My grandparents went to Mesa, Az for 20 years during the winter and I would visit them during spring or winter break. Arizona is very pretty.

Zona - I loved those pictures. It brought back so many memories of my visit there in the spring of 1996. When you visit me I will show you my album with almost identical pictures. Arizona is a beautiful state from North to South. We covered the 400 miles.
I am trying to start my decorating and cards but I am going to have to cut back this year. There is just so much I can do in a day. I could be ready for Christmas by the time lent rolls around again.

Tink: You Can! Or Palm Springs! Lot's of snowbirds do it! We rent out place out for two and a half months to a very nice couple from outside Saskatoon.

Beautiful pics of Sedona. Hubby and I went there twice. He played in a golf tourni in Phoenix and we stayed a few days longer just to enjoy Phoenix and the surrounding areas. We even briefly considered moving there. Thanks for sharing them with us Zona.

Scirish we had a heavy frost this morning but it warmed up to about 50 this afternoon. I was in bare arms today. Wish it would stay like this.

Just-Lin - Yes I think Shirley's idea is a good one. I know now I can't do it by myself this year. I hate complaining so much. That's why you don't see me here. I am here in spirit however.
Boy the North wind is blowing. I have the stove and two fire places going. At least the house is cozy and I am not burning up all my oil. We can get all the wood we need from the trout farm. It just requires labour.

I'm glad you liked them..it's a gorgeous drive to Sedona too..lots of switchbacks..so it can be scary, but really worth it!

CAROL2: Electric guy was cute! Nice too. He informed me that the old meter was showing we've used about $800 in electricity in less than two weeks. He told me that I should call them and get this straightened out right away. I called today..they didn't have the numbers yet. I'm trying not to worry about it... ;)

Hello... Well, I am foot loose and fancy free for the next three days and no one will be asking me, "what are we going to do about dinner." MrD is in Chicago for a conference with his job. His mom has called me twice today as she is missing her son calling. She is starting to get a little confused and doesn't quite remember that he is out of town. She is such a sweet lady....88 years old and 106 pounds of stubbornness.
I for some reason get in the cleaning mood when my husband is gone. You know like emptying a closet or drawers or something. I wonder why that is? I think I just know I can be in the middle of i and just leave it until tomorrow. My husband is fine with that too but then I think it should be done if someone has to step over things.
SHIRLEY: I enjoyed reading yours and Bruce's banter last night. You both were being pretty witty. He talks about you to me like you are old friends. I didn't tell him that you won't cook my favorite things for me...why ruin your sweet image! :)
ZONA: I would imagine your husband freaked out when you told him those pictures were on the blog because who can forget what you do when you are on road day trips? He probably thought "those" pictures were on the blog! Maybe so but I thing that might be an X rated blog.
J/L: Congratulations on going down a jean size. That is very exciting and a great thing to keep you motivated! I am excited for you and envious too.
CAROL: I agree with SHIRLEY on your mistake issue. You are such a good worker and planner that I think you are being too hard on yourself. You are human and those things happen.
GOLDIE: I have been hot for years. I am just finding this winter that I am starting to get cold once in awhile and that is a first for me. MRD keeps asking me if I am sick because I am always hot and in short sleeves year round.
Well, I think I will go and munch something and catch up on my Biggest Loser shows. I am three weeks behind. I am caught up on DWTS though and I am glad to see two of the people that are in the finals. I would have preferred to have the one that went home stay...but mostly because I like the pro dancer on that couple. What did the rest of you that watch it think?

DIANNE...I was kinda surprised by the results of DWTS last night. I enjoyed the dance with the bachelorette chick! I don't know who will win. It is hard to predict due to the fan base, but I think the winner is determined by the judges, not the fans.
I just watched the Janet Jackson special with Robin Roberts. It was really good. She is very well spoken and so beautiful. sad, she doesn't think she is as beautiful as she is.
SHIRLEY...can you start a new category...who can shut down the blog most often and longest. I think I would finally top one.

CAROL: That's a great idea. I think I will call little Tina soon and find out exactly how she pulled it all off without ever getting caught. It wouldn't be good if I got caught by MRD. He might do like TINA does to the children and take my car away, take my cell away and probably make me cook! I'm not even out tonight, I am just listening to the total silence and hanging out on the computer all night. I had a memorial service to go to today and then came home and haven';t left the house.
MrD did just call and said it is cool and rainy there and that he is sleepy. He had to get up at 5AM today to get to the airport, etc., and he has been in class tonight and it starts again tomorrow at 8AM I'm glad I don't work anymore.
SHIRLEY: I knew you would be investigated soon. You have been doing too many favors in a lot of things you are in charge of on this blog. Ever since Halloween...you have been acting strange. It might be that "drink" you had at the party or who knows from the secret basement things.

LOL! My decision was purely geographical... if Mr DD was only gone for a few days, I thought the travel time to Phoenix would be acceptable, but San Francisco... not so much!
However, jumping on a plane reduces the time to a couple of hours... Diane and J/L, would you like to join me for Lone Star Beer Bust on Sunday? Remember, MEK did it, and she actually survived!
