Our Thanksgiving TableAfter Thanksgiving I headed down to Atlantic City (AC) to meet up with the Italian Stallions and extended family. I arrived on Saturday, and took a long walk on the boardwalk, the weather was perfect, not to cold. The walk felt so good, and my legs did not bother me once, so even tho I hate the treadmill, and I was thankful for it.
Italian Stallions and MoreAll that walking certainly made me parched, so, we did what anyone would do while in AC, hit the bar. We drank till we were swimming, no one had to drive so we were all relaxed and continued on our quest to drink as much as possible. My choice of drink, a red wine spritzer, so refreshing, and lite. The laughter throughout the day was infectious
Jess, Me and MelissaWe had a wonderful dinner at Carmines, and then went to hit the gambling tables. I did not gamble as I don't enjoy it so much, but everyone else did and they all did well.
I love doing things with my family, we get along so very well. It is surely a treasure. I would have not wanted my weekend to be anything other than what it was. Pure Perfection!

It's been a crazy day, and I still have to go to my year-end meeting!! In this lousy economy I am very thankful to work for a company that hit it's gross profit goal @ Eastertime. And they are being VERY generous with us, their co-workers and gave us an extra 5% in our year-end cash bonuses!!! I'm taking the first $500 and putting it away for our weekend in Chicago!!!

I just woke from my nap feeling good. When I feel well the first thing I want to do is to see what is happening on the blog. I loved your story Carol. I feel I know your family now. I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. Ours was so long ago (October) I hardly remember it.
Maureen - I must apologize for not getting to your blog until now. Yesterday was not a good day for me. I enjoy a night out but I pay for it the next day. I loved your story of pig collecting. I did the same thing with bears. I don't just collect the furry bears. If it relates to bears I have it,from wind chimes, banks to drink containers. The two things I am looking for are covers for light switches (with bears on them) and a bear ceiling lamp shade. I have looked in baby departments and thrift shops but I haven't found them yet. I will someday.
Now that I am feeling energetic with less pain today I will try and decorate. Usually I am finished by now but this is a different year with a different body. Please remember if I don't blog I am still thinking of you all.
