I never met her.....never talked to her.....never e-mailed her......only sent her a get well card once. I always thought DeeDee exaggerated about her. (I know...DeeDee exaggerating.....not possible!) One thing I've learned though, everyone loved Lisa. Yes....I did a little facebook stalking (that's what my daughter calls it)! I realize that the people posting on her page are friends or family, but dear Lord! They all LOVE her! Beautiful Lisa. Wonderful Lisa. Perfect Lisa! And no matter who was posting to her or what they posted to her, she responded to all and told each of them how much she loved them back!
From her pictures it's easy to tell that she loved life and loved to travel. She seems to have been everywhere. In all her pictures, she looks so serene.....so at peace with the world around her. She had her husband, her dog Rita, her family, and her many friends. If only she had her health, too. Everything would have been perfect.
DeeDee, I believe, as I know you do, that you are so very blessed to have known Lisa for all these years. You have an Angel in Heaven to watch over you now......an incredibly brilliant light! (dont' blow it!) .......shhhhhh......i love you~

the only way to exaggerate about Lisa would be to speak negatively....the real Lisa cannot be exaggerated....all the words...photos..and exaltations could never do Lisa justice.....
Thanks for these words this morning...and this is a favorite photo of mine....Lisa is looking for whales in the pacific...and she always found plenty....or they found her....
What a beautiful homage to Lisa and DeeDee as well. I think we all stalked Lisa after hearing about her here. I for one, couldn't believe a woman who was so full of life was so ill. It seems she went her way, on her terms.
Next time I want to complain about something, I'm going to think of Lisa. I'm sure she wouldn't have complained. I think she'd have been thrilled just to be having a new experience.
Oh, and DeeDee; Lisa has to have been an amazing human being because she put up with you. :D

Tina Deedee is very blessed and lucky to have known Lisa. I think there are many people who exude true kindness and love. They in my opinion have figured out that our physical body is just our outer covering what really matters is the real soul or person inside.
They radiate because they have accepted who they truly are.

of all weeks...this one...with Thanksgiving....and people arriving for Lisa's service....all the people I must see...many that I haven't seen in years....this would have to happen....
Last night I lost one of my FRONT TEETH!!! Not just the cap....the entire tooth broke off at the gumline....I tried Gorilla Glue last might....didn't work....
I can't speak properly....my tongue does into the empty space....
it does make me laugh....and Belle won't stop looking at it....
and as you all well know...I don't have a vain bone in my body.....but frankly....bumpkin just doesn't work for me....especially this week...
needless to say I am off to the dentist and at the worst...to shop for a veil....
btw...these (your) remarks are going on all your permanent records...
did I mention Optometrist wants to dilate my eye!! I am going to be a blind...toothless stumbling fool all week apparently...

J/L~ he just sent a text....closing the door of the aircraft....they'll be 1 1/2 - 2 hrs behind schedule~ but they plan to fly~ We may end up with another kid.....one of his buddy's is connecting thru SLC and probably won't make it out tonight~ So now we are in cleaning mode....and I'm taking a break~ :)~

JUST got home from the airport~ the "blizzard" left a bunch of that white shit all over the roads.....that was one bitch of a drive....but it's no longer snowing...yay....AND my kid is home and I don't hate him yet~ :)~ AND he brought a friend who got stuck here with him~ what fun~
