We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

I see this stupid commercial everywhere I look! I can't stand it. What were they thinking? Makes me not want to clean! Wait, I don't....that's what I had kids for~ lol~
SHIRLEY: I'm sorry that you have to put up with an irresponsible pet owner in your building. I don't know what people are thinking sometimes. Have you ever tried using a spray bottle filled with cold water? My sister has cats and she uses this method sometimes to get them to stop fighting etc..you'd be surprised how they will run. I think there is a non-harmful spray you can get at the store called "No Pet" or something like that. You spray it around your door. Cats don't like the smell and will stay away. I know the responsibility to fix the problem lies with the owner..but these are just some quick solutions until they take action. I hope you get this problem resolved soon.
DIANNE: Mr Z is still not feeling well. I'm making him homemade chicken noodle soup today..hopefully that will help.
He does want to see some movie next week about saving Los Angeles from aliens or something...oh joy.. ;D
Lynn D: I like the "workers are the latest endangered species" one.
What is going on in America right now is truly frightening. What about the fact that wealth is getting concentrated in fewer and fewer hands don't the voters in this country get? What about the fact that "trickle-down economics" doesn't work don't they get? What about the fact that even very rich people NEED a vigorous middle class don't the very rich get?
Tina I hate this commercial too. I mute it every time it comes on.

Mo, I hope you aren't snowed in. The weather has been really crazy. We had tornadoes in Sac yesterday and snow at the 1000 ft. level. Usually it only snows down to 4000 ft. They are saying it may snow here and in San Francisco.

Zona, I hope Mr. Z gets well really soon so you and he can enjoy at least a few days of his vacation.

I see this commercial all the time. The only thing that fascinates me is how they made the costumes. Pretty clever.
Okay it looks like I am getting my protest on today and there is a debate about what my sign should say here are some samples:
1. Scott Walker sold out for a Koch!
2.GOP=JOBS with jobs in red circled with a line through jobs.
or
3.GOP = Minimum Wage Jobs or Nothing!
Or
4. Newest Endangered Species:
American Workers
Or
5. GOP = 3 Minimum wage jobs instead of 2.
or
6. GOP Thinks Layoff means Job creation?
Or
7. Where are the damn jobs?
I am leaning towards number 1.
