It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Yesterday was an amazing day!! Watching my daughter walk with her class brought a tear to my eye. It was one of her goals when we registered her in OASIS (our alternative HS) last spring. She chose a more difficult path, but she did it. HER WAY!!
HOdi Congrats to your beauiful girl. Regular high school isn't a good fit for everybody. Both my kids left high school early because they hated it. One got his GED and the other passed the state equivalency test. I guess I'm the weirdo because I actually kind of liked high school. Some parts I didn't but a lot of it I did. Things are different these days though. More bullying, etc.
Zona---I'm throwing all my m&m's away. Gross!!! Fun blog. Which ones do you have at your house?
Michael---Bamm back to you. Congratulations at first. Thinking of you every day.
JL---I wasn't crazy about high school but there wasn't alternative schools etc., in those days. My parents were strict too as they were again in the olden days. Lol.
Jodi--congratulations to your daughter. You must be so proud. One down two to go!!!!
Hi Barb---whats up today? Are you making some fun plans for your slumber party? I wish I could come to it.
I called Bingo today. Those people are still grumpy
Boy, we are havin huge fires here today and a person died in it today. It's just so dry and they can't contain it at all.
Well tonight is America's Got Talent. There sure isn't much on TV right now.
DIANNE - My boys seem like a piece of cake....kinda ;) Tim can't wait til July 7th, that is when he gets his temps. And I can't believe my baby will be starting Middle School this fall!!
