This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
On August 5, 1962, at 4:25 am, LAPD sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe's psychiatrist, saying that Monroe was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. She was 36 years old.
I've seen short clips of that vid while watching the Olympics and I was thinking I should go find the full version and viola (oops, I mean voila) here it is. It looks like the whole team had fun making it. Thanks J/L for finding it for us.
Tina, You are up early. Did you have to cook eggs for the Hubby?
Michael, have you been watching all the hot bods on the Olympics? J/L posted an interesting pic of one of the cycling teams on FB. They all have um different helmets.
Going back to watch horsies jump. Maybe I'll see Mrs. Mitt's horse. Have a good day everyone.
Michael I remember when Marilyn was found dead. Quite a shock to the public. There are still so many questions surrounding that situation. Questions that will never be answered.
J/LIN: That was great! I never get tired of that song..it just makes me smile..and so did this video today..thank you!
TINA: Gorgeous in first..as usual.. :)
MICHAEL: What is your theory on Marilyn Monroe's death? Do you think it was suicide..or something else?
BARB: I saw that 'helmet' picture..interesting.. ;D
It was pretty darn hot here today. One of the weather guessers on TV said we wouldn't have anymore days over 109 this year..well it was 112 today and it's supposed to be 115 by the end of the week..oh joy..
Good morning---oh, I mean good evening. Actually, I had some plans today but slept until 11. Ahh, felt good and then I took a nap tonight!!!
JL: for some reason I can't open the video. Probably because I'm using iPad but thanks for sending it in for us.
Zona: it was almost 100 today and I DO NOT like it!!! My car was registering 106 when I got in it. Could barely touch the steering wheel. You can keep it.
Sac barb: you call those helmets, huh? Hmmmm
Michael: those are some nice swim guys to watch.
Moaning in at first today Tina. Congrats for beating JL and myself. We "let" you win today.

SacBarb Yeah, I thought it was pretty cute, too. It's nice to see these dedicated athletes let their hair down and be silly.
