This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
I'm afraid if that dinner party had taken place in Owl Manor those men would have been leaving on stretchers. ijs. I don't think any of us Hooters know our limit if the second part of that clip is our guideline.
DeeDee were you in the shot of the 4 women with the wild hair? The second on in the back reminded me of you.
doesn't look as though the nest is going to go above its average 25 hits today though...
I went back and read the blogs I missed and the one about the lottery winners that gave it all away intrigued me....
Everyone here wanted to give it away as well.....to family....well with the exception of Whabbear....lol
Lets say $12 million drops in your lap....and after taxes you have say...$6 million....
All you have is a degree of financial security for the rest of your life....a once in a lifetime chance at that peace of mind...$240,000 annually for 20 years...
and everyone wants to give it away...
you could probably by a nice piece of the corn business for that amount....and be confident that when you eat corn then see your "return".....that that corn is paid for!!
Me? I would like a set of blue diamonds for buttons on a blouse...that would match my eye...
Its nice to have several blogs to choose from....not that today's isn't equally thought provoking...

Nope it is what I posted first, def! Nancy Pelosi anyone? Those darn men still afraid of educated smart women. Almost as much as they are afraid of Blacks and Hispanics.
Limits? I think not! Don't take kindly to anyone saying I have a limit! Ok, my husband says I have a spending limit, but other than that and my creaky body telling me I have limits, thats it!

We were supposed to have snow today but once again none and it is sunny out and I am glad for just this weekend. We are going to a bday party across town tonight and then our Bronco party tomorrow and then it can snow, snow, snow!!!
OMG...I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe...DIANNE a shrinking violet? That is pricesless!!
Got 2 more Cary movies today...numbers 15 and 16!I got North by Northwest and The Bishops Wife. I am saving them for tomorrow. Watching seasons 1 and 2 of Fame tonight.
Having another non stop weekend.. I don't even know where today went.. flew by so fast..
Tomorrow I am driving up to my cousins in upstate NY with 4 of my other cousins.. We were all very close as children.. all have moved in different directions.. I talk/txt/e-mail them often, just don't get to see them that much.. Out of the six of us, we last three turned 50, so we are finally getting together to celebrate.. its a 3hr drive each way.. My cousin has a big SUV so she is actually driving... they are picking me up at 8:30a.. Yikes.. that is way to early for me esp on a Sunday, but we gotta get a early start.. We have a 12:30p brunch reservation.. It will certainly be a long day.. I am looking forward to seeing them all.. and laughing .. We were the "Jersey Shore" Girls, every summer we rented a house on the Jersey Shore for either a month or two weeks.. and had a blast.. and if you watch the "Jersey Shore" that is were we rented and hung at the beach/boardwalk (Seaside Heights) and did the clubbing.. however the names of the clubs have all changed.. We were crazy.. and can't wait to tell all the stories.. Looking forward to it..
I'm sorry I didn't get here earlier. The only limits I have are the ones I put on myself.
Tonight I took myself out to dinner and kind of blew it on my calorie counting. I had grilled shrimp on a skewer, backed potatoe, veggies and chocolater mousse cake for dessert. It was very tasty. When I got home I felt energized and scrubbed down the bathroom, including the floor, and then mopped the kitchen floor. Maybe I worked off that chocolate mousse cake. Well, maybe. LOL
LynnD Congrats on day two of no cigarettes! Woo Hoo!!! Good job! If things get rough, try Commit lozenges or the drug store brand which is the same stuff but cheaper. They really helped me a lot.

Actually, I didn't have a backed potatoe but I did have a baked one.
