I Love Irishmen!

by Lynn D

I stumbled across this video of Michael D. Higgins the President off Ireland. This man tells it like it is and obviously will not take shit off of anyone! lol The man interviewing him Michael Graham does not have a chance and as the Michael Higgins calls him a fear mongering wanker seems about right.

The nests Michael I dedicate this one to you. :)

Good Morning Lynn - Thanks for the blog. I loved it and I love his accent too. Have fun in Vancouver. Wave at me across the water and I will wave back.

Good Michael - I wrote a comment and lost it. I will see if this posts.

It did so I will try again.

Michael - I love his chutzpah too. I am proud of the fact that everyone in Canada gets the exact same Health care. Now with the Baby Boomers all in their 60's there is more demand for Health Care. With our taxes getting so high I hope we don't all end up poor. We will see what happens in the next few years.

Michael - I saw that and it was so sad. Her mother and father and sister died too. There were some very sad stories concerning those tornadoes. It made me cry.

I forgot to tell you - when you look at the picture of the Capilano bridge (your avatar) it looks like the child that was dropped would land in water but there was very little water at that time. She landed safely on rocks. That makes the story even more difficult to believe but it was captured on tape.

LynnD Thanks for the blog. I totally enjoyed listening to him for various reasons. Have fun in Vancouver. You're looking extra fine, by the way.

Michael There is so much devastation from those tornadoes. It's horrible. I can't even imagine having my whole town leveled. We had a 4.0 earthquake in the Bay Area this morning. I didn't feel it.

Zona Yay! I'm glad you're feeling better. I woke up feeling like I'm getting a cold. Seems like I've been going through this pretty often lately....alternating being sick one week and fine the next. This needs to stop.

Tinka It seems like there's been a lot of sad news lately. Maybe there will be some happy news today.

Up from my nap and the world is beautiful here. The sun brightens one's mood so very much.

Yes Just_Lin there is a lot of sadness in the world. I worry about earthquakes too. The media is always talking about "the Big One". We could be flattened like Tornado Alley.

I guess the only thing we can do is concentrate on the little happy things like sunshine when one gets up from a nap. And the two white "fur babies" who then act like they haven't seen you in years.

Hope you don't get that cold.

Michael - I also think Obama will do the right thing.

Who is your avatar today?

Zona - It was so nice to talk to you this morning. You make my day. I missed the few days when you were sick. I was so worried about my BFF.
