This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
I guess I need to share this. I decided after spending almost a week in the hospital to tell about my cancer. I thought I may have dropped enough hints along the way....but just so you know....all the weight loss and feeling bad is because I have a lot of cancer.
I hate telling people about it because it tends to make everyone sad...please don't be. I am way past that.
The prognosis couldn't be worse but as I said....I am way past crying about it...
After the "code blue" was over I was alive at the hospital I immediately told Tina everything. I thought SHIT! I could have died and I have to tell people about this!
Tina said..."well hell...could you please try to die after 2pm when I am off work?" And of course thats exactly what I needed to hear....something hilarious...she cracked me up...
My lungs are covered in lesions that came from the the colon cancer so the lungs...which will prolly be my Waterloo...aren't from smoking all those years. The cancer has metastasized in many places...like my lungs and liver....
And again....I am ok. It is what it is. I can't change it.
The good news is they discovered the source of the diarrhea and thats over!!! Its a bacteria that lives in everyone but gets busy in folks when they are really ran down. Matter of fact they found 2 bugs...started me on antibiotics and viola!!
Now thats kind of a silver lining in my dark cloud because frankly I just don't have the strength to be running to bathroom....KWIM?
OMG Michael~ you left out the BEST part!!!! I tole the gurls at werk, in between sobs, of course, "Michael has cancer!" Hollie turned to me with concern in her eyes, "Oh no...what kind?" And before I could say a werd and without missing a beat, Judi turned to us both and said, "Ovarian!" lmbo!!!! git it? Ovarian...DeeDee...lmbo!!!!!!! :D
Michael I really don't know what to say. I was thinking you had colitis or Crohn's or something like that. Please know that I am truly sorry to hear this news and will keep you in my prayers, like it or not.
Michael Well, yay for not having the runs anymore. You certainly don't need that on top of everything else. Are you getting around well enough to do your own grocery shopping and stuff like that?
Michael---I'm so sorry to hear your news. I ,like JL , am going to keep u in my daily prayers. It can't hurt. I'm glad u r done with the poops--that is never fun. I'm also hoping you aren't having pain--you didn't mention that in your post. I do hope that is being controlled for you. I will be sad if I want too but I'm glad you let us know as we were all missing you last week. We thought you were on some exotic island. Now we have you back.
I guess we will each have our things to do to help Michael. Shirley, you sure are fast to volunteer to give a bath. Hmm. Your r pretty darn pretty at first.
Tina---very cute video. I think it would be a fun way to be proposed to that way---very romantic.
Jodi---nice to see you on the blog. Hope Jake wins his game. Do you have any plans for the weekend?
JL--glad u r up and moving. I had to get up early today like 9am. That is early for me. I've been to my dr, Louis dr for a prescrption, jack in box, pharmacy and back home. Don't I have an exciting life?
Zona----is your company there yet? It will be better than you think. I'm willing to bet you might even have fun.
Hi Tink--- nice to see you pop in. Hope you are getting your projects done. I thought I would when I retired and that's been five years ago.
Dianne 9 a.m. is early for me, too, as you know and my life isn't any more exciting than yours. I took myself out to lunch, I went to Curves, and I went to the cat clinic to pick up a chart for a client that I need to write a collection letter to. I will get the rest of the charts I need at the main veterinary hospital tomorrow. I have a prescription to pick up, too, but I'll do it tomorrow. Oh, and I cut back a bush a little bit.
Yesterday was more exciting. I pulled some gobs of hair out of the bathroom sink drain (I always feel such a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when I do that) and I fixed a section of the automatic sprinkler in the front yard that hadn't been turning on.
Tina, I have seen this video a few times now and I am very impressed at how organized it is. I kept wondering where the people were coming from and how did she not see them all waiting for their entrance. The couple are actors and most of the other participants are actors too, so they are very used to performing with a lot of other people. The were on the Today show this week.
Michael, I am so sorry to hear about your health condition. I will also keep you in my prayers.
Shirley, It's so nice to see your bright shiny avatar in first.
Dianne, I'm glad Louis is feeling a little better. How about you?
Zona, I know you will survive and it will only be 24 hours.
J/L, I hope after taking yourself out to lunch, you gave yourself a hug and kiss when you got home. I was going to make a comment about trimming, but since you asked, I will refrain.
Jodi, Sorry Jake's team lost, but it's so nice that you can be there to support him.
SacBarb Thanks for refraining on the trimming comment. LOL Somehow it just doesn't work to hug and kiss myself. Kind of like trying to tickle yourself. No thrills.

I'm the most beautiful!!!!!!!!
Its always neat to see when these mentally retarded people find a partner.
BAM!!
Tina I thought the video was cute...a bit corny, but cute! Would you have liked a proposal like that from hubby?
Shirley! I am getting a little tired of you rubbing your beauty in my face. We can't all be beauties...
try to be a LITTLE humble...
oh! Lean in here in give me my morning sugar! I'd like a little tongue if you have brushed your teeth already....
Morning Michael!
I'll have to put them in first Michael!
I can't help my natural beauty Michael. People have been jealous of me for years because of it.

Shirley You look magnificent today. I'm not sure what it is that you have to put in....your tongue?
Michael I see you've been in the sun too long. Are you competing with that super tanned lady? I do like the little hat. Two snaps up for that.

I don't want any comments about trimming the bush. LMAO!
Jake's team lost tonight. We start again tomorrow morning. He's in a small tournament this weekend. I'm pooped and heading to bed.
Good night HOoters ♥

Morning Glories,
I saw this a few days ago and thought how fun that so many people helped him put this together.
