I am glad everybody is here, cause without everybody, we would have no comments, and I think everybody would be sad over everybody not being here and not commenting. If I was not here to monitor the blog everybody would miss me, and I would miss me to, cause everybody needs to have a blog to comment on, so everybody can be happy, and surly everybody should be happy, so everybody will be here to comment, and then everybody will definitely be happy.
It seems everybody in my family is glad I am around, cause thru out the day everybody calls me and tells me what everybody is doing. Sometimes I think "do I really care'? But then I would probably be upset if everybody did not call me, because then I would not know what everybody was doing, and that would just make me call everybody and ask them what they are doing.
Everybody at work is always asking me questions. At times I feel like a answer person, since everybody is asking me something, I surely have to answer everybody. It would be nice if everybody would not ask me questions
thru out the day, because then I don't have to be the answer person and constantly answer everybody. But then if everybody does not ask me questions, I would think that everybody is mad at me, and then I would

I am on the farm computer. It was fogged in here this morning and the fog has just lifted. I see two otters on the fish net pens. They are very cute but they steal a lot of fish so they have to be chased off.
Jennifer - I didn't know at first if it was you. How are you doing? I slept very well to the sound of the aerators. I am going to rest all weekend. I have the L.M. Montgomery books on my ipod so I may listen to one of those. There are feral cats living in the woods. I saw some cute little kittens this morning. They are about 6 weeks old. You can't catch them. They are too fast.

I have been gone all day visiting my brother up north in the nursing home. He was in good spirits today. He usually keeps his window drapes closed and sleeps all the time. I was happy to see the drapes pulled apart and the sun shinning in. It was good not leaving depressed at seeing him for a change.
The casino is only about 4 miles from him so of course I made a quick stop. I left happily with an extra hundred.

When I got home this afternoon, Nancy had unrolled a roll of toilet paper allllll the way out of the bathroom into the family room. She was having so much fun playing in it!
I tried to take a picture of it but the camera batteries were dead.
We are having a big party here in a couple weeks, and we have decided she will have to be locked in the bedroom. I don't want her jumping on the counters getting in the food, or biting/scratching anyone. She is going to hate it!

I need to get a new cell phone, I have been looking on line and there are so many that do so much.

Mo the sleep was wonderful! I just hope I have a sequel tonight.
I spent the day checking on the freezerto make sure it was working and got a call that we are getting our frozen freaking turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets early. Why because the food bank that stores them for us is having problems with their freaking freezer!!!
Then I helped lug piles of crap for a fundraising garage sale for the building the food bank is in. Was in a great mood and dealing with the problems until.....I found out the window guys the Board of Directors had doing the windows are fucking idiots! Sorry for the language but really it is the only explanation.
Did I mention they are putting new windows in the food bank. The building is a 1915 school house that is being restored and the window are being hand made to historical standard for the most part. The glass is actually what they make jet windsheilds out of so no more broken window panes. The hardware is made to replicate the original hardware etc....
Well the geniuses installed the windows and they look lovely except that they have not received the locking hardware!!!!!! So I have a food bank with no fucking locking windows and we are in the basement. They didn't see what was wrong with this. The hardware would be in sometime next week no big deal.
Ok it was ugly! I lost it as only a menopausal woman in really warm weather can. So now they have to board the lovely windows up until the freaking hardware arrives.
My parting shot to them was "tell me why this could not have waited until next week?"
You guys are going to have to drive me to rehab when my year as director is up!

EBJ...I have a bottom of the line Samsung Snap with a camera. I have had it a couple of years and it is fine. I do notice the charge doesn't last quite as long, but it has been a good phone for me. I don't like or need a lot of bells and whistles.

Maureen thanks for asking about mum. Her pain is getting worse. I went with her to the doctor the other day and he increased her night time morphine to two pills instead of one. Her appetite is not good either.

My hair cut is very short which is what I wanted but it isn't a great look on a fat face. It works really well in humid weather though.

Mo, there are the occasions when physics rules. We lost a 24 year-old in Costa Rica this past Feb. It's my biggest fear. We have lots of guys in wheelchairs, too. It's a big sacrifice for a career that ends around 30 years.

The other Jennifer is doing fine. She just joined facebook this past week and she is having fun with it.

Sometimes I get everybody confused. I guess because I have never heard everybody's voices and everybody's accents and everybody in more visual ways. or, I am just dumb.
I worked my ASS off today. I did two hours on the elliptical AND 45 minutes on the treadmill. I have 29,423 steps. Yes, I know, I should top it off to 30,000 but hey, I am TIRED!

We are on a Wendy's kick lately, we get 2 baked potatoes and a side salad (it's big enough for 2 of us) all for under $4.00
It's been so hot, so that is a nice easy dinner for us, and it's filling.

That is so good Carol!! Way to go. How long does it take you? When I first started, I would do 2.7 to 2.9 and 0 incline. Now I top out at 3.8 and 2 on the incline. That makes me do about 3 miles in an hour. 20 minute miles are good.
I did 3.0 tonight on the treadmill because I did an hour on the elliptical at lunch and another hour on the elliptical tonight. Also, I only walked for 45 minutes because the Y closed.
Secret: I love to go on Friday nights because all the guys that do weight training are usually there and working out late. Oh, it is fun to watch.

I didn't do incline either at first. I only started doing it in March or April. Carol, that is a great job. I am so proud of you!!
My big surprise was that I could do the elliptical. I started doing 5 minutes..I mean literally 5 minutes and then I would stop. Then I increased to 7, 10, 12..and so on. Now I can do 2 HOURS of it in a day. I never dreamed I would be able to do that. Ever.
I bought a size Medium Danskins leggings the other day at Walmart. They didn't have large and I figured they looked like they might fit. I haven't wore anything MEDIUM in probably 8 years..at least!
