This fun YouTube video features a 1980s pop classic. The rock band Toto scored their biggest hit with Africa in 1982. The song is instantly recognizable. But it has been reinvented.
Perpetuum Jazzile is an a cappella jazz choir from Slovenia. It’s hard to think of something further from an ‘80s rock band. But their version of Africa may best the original. The group has amazing voices.
But the beginning of this video is really striking. Group members simulate an African thunderstorm with their hands. It’s really something to see and hear.

I learned about Perpetuum Jazzile early this month. They are a Slovenian Choir and well known in Europe. This performance of "Toto's Africa" has garnered 2.5 million hits on you tube this month!
I love their thunderstorm! They have their own website and are on Facebook. I think they are amazingly talented but more importantly....the cutie with the yellow collar...Nino Kozlevčar...is so beautiful....excuse me! My "zorch is on fire!!

Zona - my "hole" is setting and getting hard........ I know that doesn't sound right - BUT - that's the fact..
iteach - I had an AMAZING time at the designer day - i had signed up for both classes that the lady taught - and while I didn't really learn anything new - she had all new product that hasn't been sent to retailers yet and we made two mini books - they are adorable!! She was really trying to "sell" some expensive cutting tools - but I have better things to send money on!! (like paper!!) ....
and - my scrapbooking friends will be amazed to know that i did NOT buy anything!!!!!!!!!

We got a postcard from Seaside Lady yesterday, she is in Alaska!
That is a really popular place to go this summer, along with some of the owls, I know about 5 other people who have gone there too.
I'm on my last load of laundry, and this morning made a big bowl of Italian tomato salad.
MR. EBJ's little garden is giving us lots of yummy tomatoes.

Hi All and Happy Sunday! I hope you all are having a great day. I worked out for an hour on the elliptical and went to yoga. I think I am going to try yoga twice a week. My body feels good after all that stretching and I have to work on toning too.
I have 9,765 steps today. Not as many as usual. I am going to walk to my Mom's after she gets off work today.
What is everyone doing today? I think I am going to lie down for a late nap.

Of course you're right Scrish...for people who use the "urban dictionary" for a reference. A lot of defining a word goes hand in hand with the context in which it is written...unless of course this makes sense to you...

so the hubby came home with roses and a card for our anniversary~ And my daughter picked out a card from all the kids that is hilarious~ Hubby and I were going to go out for dinner tonight to celebrate since he and the kids are leaving for CA on Tuesday (our anniversary) for MIL's surgery, but the dang restaurant is closed on Sunday's! I forgot I live in UT!!!~ So we'll go tomorrow night! BUT NOW that means I have to make dinner! Di....do you have a quick recipe I could use??? :)~

I spent the afternoon at my mother's. I had to wait for her to get home, she was at a wedding shower..So, I'm chatting with my sister and she tell's me she has my mom on vitamin's, trying to boost her energy..Well, they must be working, cuz my mother picked on me all afternoon!!! She thought she was pretty damn funny! Everything we talked about, she would say some off the wall crap... off topic...messing with my mind!! Then when I'd give her a weird look, she would just bust out laughing.
I'm taking the damn vitamin's away from her!!!
Birdee, maybe you mum has those special vitamins!

It's all good about my mom...I gave as good as I got and it was funny. Just meant that she was in a good mood, cuz there are time's when she doesn't say a whole lot.

Good evening everyone! I was gone most of the day. Can you imagine ME going to bed at 3am and having to get up at 5:30am? Four of us from our VFW Aux, visited the Children Veteran's Home for a Michigan Day picnic.It was part fundraiser and a day of fun for the families living there.
We checked out the animal petting zoo as they were unloading the animals into a fenced in area. We noticed the rabbits were doing the "nasty" about the time the owners did. Someone yelled " get him out of their!". We just about peed our pants laughing!
EBJ that was a sweet vid! I watched it again and closed my eyes at the beginning. The rain forest sounds seemed so real!
