I hear this song on the radio all the time and I love it. It reminds me of my husband, my children, and even some of my friends. I think about how when I was born, I was destined to marry the man I married, have and raise the children I have, and meet and become friends with certain people along the way. I wanted to share this song with you.
And then I found the video! What a disappointment. It is nothing like I "picture" this song in my head. The singer seems to be obsessed with the girl and even stalkerish!!! This just won't do!!! So close your eyes and listen...don't watch! :D

Ummmm was that a holocaust moment! I kept waiting for the Zombies to grab one of them, ala Night of the living dead. I thought what the hell??? Then they had Sinead O'Connor clones in the background and I LOL.
The song is ok. I like your meaning better but really who thought up this video to go with it. Is that what they call EMO???

mr. mek and i let our little one play in the BIG dog park today and she did REALLY well with the big dogs......
Since we walked - I didn't have my camera with me - wish I had..
there was a 207 pound Great Dane - he is the most beautiful dog and then there was a gorgeous boxer puppy!!! several boxers as a matter of fact......
Bailey - she just laid there watching it all while our little one played and played... everyone is sleeping now (including Mr. Mek) - might be a good time for me to nap also!

I can't believe I have a cold.. I am so pissed.. it ruined my whole weekend.. I have been taking every cold tablet possible, and it is getting worse instead of better.. I never ever had a cold in the summer. I can't breathe, my nose is so plugged up, my eyes are slits at this point cause they keep tearing, and the sneezing is way out of control.. Oh and now my nose is killing me cause I keep blowing it..

She is so cute tho, and we know she will out grow her mean phase.
There is a fly in the house, and I am AMAZED at how high she can leap already! She is determined to get it.
Poe yelled at her ("GET OFF OF THERE")for climbing the screen door, she got off before I got there to squirt her with the water bottle.
He has a mean sounding voice and she listens to him! lol
Carol, there have been so many sick people with colds, flu and strep throat coming into our clinic.
Doesn't seem right when we are having 90-100 degree weather. We see strep throat all year long, lots of it the past few weeks.
It is about 90 here already and I just finished all the laundry. Our blast of heat comes 3-4pm, it will be close to 100 today.

I think I got this cold from sweating my arse off at the gym.. I am so full of sweat when I get home, I take a quick shower and then put the AC on full blast so its ice cold.. or.. I got a germ at the gym, which is very possible..
I am going to try and take a nap.. which is almost impossible for me..cause I never nap..

TINA: Hmmmm..nice song..never heard it before, but I liked it. I didn't follow instructions and watched the video. The lightning was pretty cool..but the whole concept seemed to come out of a video game. I went back and listened again without the video. You were right, it's better that way. Thanks to everyone for their get well wishes for me and Mr Z. We are both feeling better.
Friday I was coughing so much I decided to take some Nyquil during the day so I could just get some sleep. I woke up thinking it wss kinda hot in the house. I checked the thermostat and it said it was 90 degrees! The a/c had gone out while I was asleep. I called Mr Z at work only to find out that he was stranded there with a dead car battery. I called the a/c guy and he said he couldn't get out until Saturday or Sunday..and to check the fuses. You have to remember it was 113 degrees outside..I was really worried more about Nikki than anything else. I couldn't go in the pool because I was coughing so much and running a fever. I really just wanted to cry. Mr Z finally got home at about 7pm..changed the fuses and the a/c came back on...for an hour...then the fuses blew again. The house got up to over 100 degrees inside. We spent the rest of the night in front of fans and at 6:30am the a/c guy called and said he was on his way. It took him 30m to fix the problem..a faulty fuse box..and we are enjoying cool air again. He did however let us know that our compressor is going..and that by next summer we will either need to replace it at a cost of $1600 or replace the entire unit..$6000. His parting words were so encouraging.. "You better start saving.." thanks. lol..
I was wondering if someone up there just didn't like us on Friday..but I realized everyone has days like these.

We had our electricity go off in August a couple years ago, it happened to be the hottest day of the year (112) and the power system just got overloaded.
The electricity was off from about 4pm til almost 4am the next day.
I think that was one of the most miserable nights of my life.
We are over 100 here now, it is time to swim, as soon as MR. EBJ gets home from work!
Oh, Russell makes me crazy just in the hour (or 42 minutes, whatever it is) I cannot imagine how he acts the rest of the time.
I don't like him, Jessie, Ronnie, Lydia, Chimea, and a couple others. I'm not sure who I like yet.

I have had 2 pain free days. I think the antibiotic is doing it's job.

Not much new here...stayed up late trying to learn more about my Blackberry and slept late and then met a friend for an early dinner. My husband brought me home very pretty flowers in a nice vase today. They are all kinds of yellow and cheery.
