Boy, do I have some great news to share with you.
However, I don't know how to say it?
Part of me wants to run naked up and down the street yelling "My husband has just been offered an awesome job."
Part of me wants to put a big tattoo on my forehead that says "My husband has accepted a job that he is proud of."
Part of me wants to cry, hug, and kiss everything that comes into my path without saying a word.
If you could see our smiles it would say it all.
This job is exactly what my husband, Dean loves to do and he is excited. I really don't feel comfortable, yet, saying the name of his company, due to this being a public blog. However, I will share with you that he will be one of the product managers of a company that produces such things as tools, hoses, and sprinklers.
The job is 1 1/2 hours away, but it is worth it. We already have a plan in motion for the commute. Some days he will drive there and home, some days he might stay at a hotel, or some days he might stay with my sister's family who lives real close to it.
I can't even begin to explain all what is running through our heads right now, but it is all good. We have so much to do in so little time to get organized and ready. The funny part is that he starts his new job, I go back to school, and the boys all go back to school on the same day, Aug. 24th. Isn't that funny !
It is very hard to organize my thoughts right now to make this blog flow. However, there is one important point that I for sure want to express and that is my gratitude to my fellow owl friends. Your e-mails, cyber hugs, and laughs have helped me keep my chin up. It is truly amazing how supportive you have been to us. Thank you so much, you will always have a special place in my heart.

Jennifer, I have to confess something to you... I thought you were an owl who had posted here before I came to the nest, left, then come back again. It was very confusing because everyone treated you as if you'd never left... which of course, you hadn't. But I didn't know that, seeing as I'm the Jr. Owl around here.

Jodi, it's a chariot. Like in chariot racing. On the back is a trash bin with a human person in it.
Oh. I guess I should mention that it's 4WD chariot racing.
I just got back from mum's a little while ago. It was a little emotional earlier. It difficult to comfort your parent, when it's usually the other way around. But when I left she was ok, and my sister is with her. She had some bowel issues this week and it really scared her. I think at this point she has so many changes happening to her body she is getting scared. We will just have to take it one day at a time. Thanks for letting me share with all of you.

Zona, I AM SHOCKED BUT THRILLED!!! WOW is that the first time in BB history this has happened?
We only started watching it a few seasons ago, we missed the beginnings.
JL yes Nancy is going to be banished to our bedroom.
She is still jumping onto the kitchen counters, which I absolutely hate. Squirting her doesn't phase her.
I don't want her jumping into the food, so she will be on lockdown for the good part of the day.
She woke up up at 6:15 this morning with a big bite to my nose. She bit so hard that I was bleeding quite a bit. MR. EBJ was shocked.
She goes in for her surgery on Tues. Maybe it will calm her down!?
We just cleaned Poe's cage and changed the pine chips in the tray below where he sits. She just jumped in them and splattered them all over.
She really is a vicious terrorist thug kitten. haha!
Bonachichi so you didn't tie one on last night?
That is good stuff huh? Haven't had it in ages.
Gotta go make beans, making YH Baked Beans in the crock pot, yum!

Zona; That DiSaronno & OJ wasn't bad. Kgrl had said it tasted like a creamsicle, and she was right. I still like Mountain Dew better, but I could sip on that drink without making faces.
EBJ; I think the shin-dig you're throwing is very brave. You must be a very talented and gracious cook/hostess.
I don't know if I tied one on or not. I didn't think I did. I was home with the huz & some of his friends. THEY were tying one on! I drank most of the OJ/DiSaronno drink I made then went back to MD. Tina did a sobriety check on me so maybe she's a better judge.

I am sorry I didn't get through all the comments.I am super busy! I am leaving for Portland Oregon this early a.m. My Niece Jaimie and I will then take the Amtrak to Vancouver. I will be home Next Sunday. The hotel we are staying in is the Benson. I see they have free internet, I will check in once in a while. We are staying in one of their branch Hotels in Portland too.

I saw Julie and Julia today...cute movie. Def worth the 5 bucks and the a/c was nice and cold! Then I picked a succession of stores to wander thru! I stopped for a large lemonade at McD's and then wandered around the super WalMart. I did make an exciting purchase...dryer sheets and a new lipstick (with a free liner for $4!) Now I am home and it isn't too bad in the house! Oh, when I got out of the theatre my friend had called and she was at the Croc's store so I popped over to meet her and she bought 3 pairs! I thought of TINA the whole time!

So I was at a 2 1/2 hour mass with the Cardinal, Arch-Bishop, several Bishops and priests....so excited....and felt this overwhelming need to pray for those in the nest.....didn't know at the time who needed it, but I prayed. Then I checked my phone on our way home and saw your text, Jodi~ Now I know~

For those of you that I haven't talked to....Dad's oxygen was down to 64 yesterday morning. He went to the clinic to get a refill of his inhaler, but they wouldn't refill it without being seen by the doc. The doc prescribed a steroid to help his lungs, gave him another inhaler, and something to help dry him up. He has refused to go to the hospital or to have a tank of oxygen @ home. At first I was mad that the doc didn't admit him, but he said not to be mad at the doc, cuz he has to work with me. That was his way of telling me that he wants to be @ home. When I was talking to CAROL, I told her that I didn't want him to be alone, and she gently reminded me that my Dad has two hands, and that my Mother is holding one, and my brother is holding the other.
Again, a HUGE thank you to my family here. I'm not sure how long this is going to take, but I know I will need you all.
