This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Stephen Colbert is hilarious...All his stories are good....even this one! rolls eyes... Of course the hot one right now is his reenactment of Sarah Palins version of Paul Reveres ride....on a grocery store pony...lol
HI TINA!!!! waving!!!
r u a call girl today!!?? or do you get to suck the air out of gift baskets again this Wednesday??
actually Whabbear...in keeping with the way they roll....with Albert having someone to put his toothpaste on the brush (yes he uses tootpaste) I believe they have people for every possible duty.. (no pun intended)
1. the royal irrigator... 2. the royal lubricator (may or may not be necessary depending on amount of liquor imbibed) 3. Santorum scrubber..
Yes...I have it on good authority that she is a freak in the royal bed!
while on the subject of Liz II...notice the brooch she is wearing....it is the single most valuable thing that she owns.
She calls them "Granny's Chips"....they are from the same rough stone that produced the massive Cullinan I&II diamonds today found in the Crown Jewels sceptre and imperial state crown.
Here is a clip from Wiki...
Only Queen Elizabeth could christen the diamonds in this brooch Granny’s Chips. They are so named because they were originally set in Queen Mary’s crown for the Coronation of George V in 1911. The top stone, known formally as the Cullinan IV, is 63.6 carats, and the bottom stone, the Cullinan III, is 94.4 carats. Here are photos of the brooch itself, and being worn by Queen Elizabeth. Don’t you love how disinterested the corgi is? Clearly not a jewel lover. _________________________
She has only worn these diamonds 5 or 6 times in her life....
They are Golconda diamonds...perfect color and completely flawless....
As far as putting a dollar value here...there are simply some things that transcend the vulgar topic of coin....these are two of those things.....they are priceless.
Bear I have a feeling that Queen Elizabeth was done with all that hanky-panky once she gave the country heirs. Besides, it's difficult to be on your hands and knees and still keep a firm grip on your handbag.
I am unable to view the video simply because I am Canadian. THAT my friends is unfair, unjust, unconstitutional, unowly, unbloggy and damn annoying!! However I have found out that the show airs on our Canadian station CTV, but I can't find THIS particular episode!! Again, I say, damn annoying!!!!
these are storied heirlooms...if per generation they only see the light of day once..privately...to be admired and their stories are shared amongst family....I think thats reason enough to not throw them out...lol
One wonderful thing that QE2 did was take them on a trip to Holland where the man who had originally cleaved the massive rock that would become all these huge diamonds lived. When it was time to cleave the stone he raised his cleaver and fainted...passed out cold. When he regained himself he made the successful cut. That was the last time he saw it.
She took her 2 "chips" to share with him I am sure over the stories of the discovery... acquisition...and cutting. Prolly one of the highlights of his life...
so with all due respect and all the love in my heart...
I still haven't found this clip yet but I did see the one where he played Paul Revere on a coin horse! That was quite funny!! OK got to go, it's game time!! GO CANUCKS GO!!!

Good Morning Tina and Michael. The video won't load Tina. It names the error but I don't understand what it means.
Jack caught our son's cold and now I am getting it. I think I will have a lazy day today. Take care all little owls out there.
Reading comments from A51 and today produced this:
What does Prince Philip say to the Queen when he wants anal sex?
"Bottoms up, your hineyness!"
What's that, owls? You don't believe HRH Prince Philip likes to be HRH Queen Elizabeth's back door man? How do you know that?

Tinka I hope you have a good day and that you and Jack don't get too sick with that cold.
Michael Some things are hardly worth having if they just stay in a safe all the time.
