This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Sorry Tina, I've never liked Adam Lambert. He has a good voice but I can't stand his arrogance. I like the song, though. I'm glad you made it home safely.
We saw 'The Hunger Games' today. TINA you were right..they left A LOT out. It was funny tho..every one of the people that I talked to that worked there asked if I'd read the book. When I said I had..they warned me that I might not like the movie because of how much was missing..I thought that was an unusual thing for employees of a movie theater to do. I was prepared to be very disappointed..and I really wasn't..I wouldn't say I loved the movie..but I did like it.
I saw the 'Dark Shadows' trailer again..I have to admit..that movie is starting to grow on me..They had a Johnny Depp cutout from the movie next to a red velvet chair in the lobby..try as he might..Randy couldn't persuade me to sit in it so he could take a picture.. :D
I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday..I'm going to read a bit more of 'Catching Fire' the 2nd book in 'The Hunger Games' trilogy..I'm about 50 pages in..it's really good!
Oh wait..I did hear something else about Adam Lambert..they said something on the radio yesterday about him performing with Queen for 3 or 4 concert dates this summer..they also said Freddie Mercury fans are not happy..I'll have to google to find out more about this..
Tina You're looking good at first today. No worries about the blog not posting earlier. Thanks for keeping it all going for us. I really appreciate it.
I do like Adam but not over the moon about this particular song or the vid. I was thinking while watching it that they could make him up to look like Elvis for a movie.
Michael I can file a report with AARP for you if you like. As of May 1, I will be on Medicare and I am absolutely giddy when I look at my Kaiser healthcare premium bill which is usually $885 and it says ZERO due! That is the absolute best thing about turning 65 next month. Being on Medicare will be saving me nearly $700/mo. Woo hoo!
SacBarb I don't recall Adam acting particularly arrogant. He was quite gracious to the Chris kid that won AI that year. I can't even remember Chris' last name.
Zona I wish you would have sat in that red velvet chair next to Johnny. It would have been a fun picture.
I don't think the die-hard Freddie Mercury fans would be happy with anyone stepping in to sing with Queen. I think Adam would be a good fit, personally.

This is a disgrace! I am filing a report with the FCC...the NAACP....and in a year or 2 the AARP!!
